My mother was treated by Dr. Pinderski for over 10 years. She was older and for some reason she really liked him.I never really found him to be too attentive, in other words, he basically did his job as was expected, nothing out of the ordinary. The main problem I have with Dr Pinderski and the entire Lakeside medical group office staff is the utter and complete incompetence, disregard, and disrespect the staff shows To the patients. Their attitude is such that the patients are to be grateful for any attention they give you, they do not return calls, they do not do their jobs, they act as though the patients are an inconvenience, not the reason they are employed. I have many examples of their failure to do an adequate job but I will only mention a couple here, the most egregious examples.
The Friday, two days before my mother passed, we called Dr Pinderski's office and said we wanted to issue the orders to put her on hospice. this of course is one of the most difficult decisions anyone will ever make, and one of the most important decisions. As is common with this office they took the call and never passed it on to her doctor, or he just never bothered to call us back, whatever the case it didn't get done and my mother died without any support.
One would think that this is bad enough, it gets worse. After her death we advised them that she had passed and for a year and a half since that time they continue to call us to make appointments for her! After a couple months of these phone calls I called and reamed the employee, it's bad enough they weren't there when she needed them to be, it's bad enough that they were rude every time we walked into the office to check in with the doctor, but I cannot understand that after at least 10 conversations nobody could update her file in order to spare us the grief of having them call us and not even care. Or know that she had passed away.
My mother saw Dr Pinderski for over 10 years and they couldn't even update her file, let alone send us a sympathy card or act as though they cared at all. I would like to compare this with the review I did for access the emergency animal hospital.after I had to put my cat to sleep I received a sympathy card from the veterinarian in her own handwriting telling me how sorry she was and it had everyone in the office's signature, a handwritten note not just the signature but an actual sympathy card written by the veterinarian expressing her sympathy and understanding of my loss. Remember we are talking about my cat, my own mother couldn't get the same treatment from her medical group that I received for my cat! now, what is wrong with this picture? Not only did we receive nothing in the way of a sympathy card they couldn't even acknowledge that she had passed away incompetence of the most despicable variety. I hope somebody reads this review from the office and learns that people matter, they are not an inconvenience but they are the reason they have a job and should be treated with respect. My advice however, save yourself The aggravation and find another office and medical group, not Lakeside! read more
