Both jewelers were with another client but we didn't wait long before being serviced. She quickly sized his hand and was sure to be accurate. She also gave us suggestions which was very helpful in deciding. I want to say it was a one week turnaround time- two max? And it cost us less than $70 for a simple gold band resize. Can't beat that with great and quick service! My only regret is not bringing my wedding ring and bands for a complimentary cleaning but now I have an excuse to shop haha. read more

Broken diamond bracelet brought here for repair. It was fixed and broke in the same spot within 24 hours of pick up. Took it back again and broke within 3 weeks of second repair. There was not a discount given on the second repair. They are very nice and kind but sadly the craftsmanship quality wasn't there for me. They did ship the item back to me and paid freight the second time which was helpful, but since the bracelet broke again in the same spot the craftsmanship obviously lacks. Chose another jewelry store in Wilmette for the third repair and they did a great job... and charged 50% less for the same repair that was done by Erica's. read more

We stopped in to Erica's a few weeks ago randomly to check out different engagement ring settings. I've been wanting to change mine up so because we were in the area, we stopped in. We were immediately and warmly greeted by the adorable Irene. She had such fun peppy energy and I love that when trying on jewelry! All the employees were wearing masks and the store was sparkly clean. They have a ton of gorgeous pieces, anything bridal that you can imagine - they got it. I explained to Irene that I was looking to change the setting on my ring and showed her a few pictures of what I liked. She grabbed a few options for me and as I mentioned to please excuse my ring because I hadn't cleaned it before we came in, she already sent it to the back to have it cleaned while we shopped around. Amazing customer service! I really appreciated that small gesture. After looking around and trying a few things on, Irene actually suggested a tall, classic cathedral setting that I hadn't thought I liked before. Trying it on however changed my mind completely. I liked it on so much so that I asked her if she could please provide pricing. Because I had my current ring that I would potentially trade in for metal credit, she mentioned she would take down all my information and get an accurate price on everything and then follow up a few days after. Additionally, I found a few other pieces while shopping around that she added to my "wish-list" that my husband could reference at any time. How cute is she!? These small details are what take good experiences to great. Wednesday came around-when Irene said she was going to follow up- and she sure did! She also offered a small holiday coupon we could put towards it but I wasn't 100% ready to make a decision. She wasn't pushy at all and I told her I'd reach out again when I was. I came to Erica's to get my engagement ring (which was purchased elsewhere) resized. My initial communication was via email with Carolyn. I explained that I had just got engaged and needed my ring sized down but was hoping I could have it done within the day. Most places I had contacted said they would need a week but Carolyn said that could do it the same day. She knew I was nervous to have another jeweler handle the ring without me being there but assured me that we could find the identification on the ring so that I could be confident that it was my diamond being returned to me. I booked a time to come in in a few weeks. When I got to the store I immediately felt at ease. Carolyn greeted me and explained the whole process and made me feel comfortable. I dropped off the ring at 10:30am and had it back by 5:30pm. I can now bring my ring back for free cleanings - which I will definitely take up since they returned it looking amazing!
