A Nightmare Experience - Avoid at All Costs!…read more I have been a loyal customer of Helzberg Diamonds for over 15 years, but after this experience, I will never step foot in their store again. Their complete disregard for customer service, lack of accountability, and mishandling of my jewelry repair is beyond unacceptable. I brought in my necklace under its so-called "warranty" after the chain broke, only to have it returned with irremovable scuffs. Alex, the salesman, specifically noted that it should not be polished, yet it was anyway. When I brought this to the manager's attention, she dismissed my concerns, stating that the jeweler--not the salesperson--determines whether it gets polished. After sending it back a second time and requesting an expedited process, I received it again--this time still with scuffs and a dent from the tool used to hold it. Alex assured me, after speaking with Paula (the manager), that I would receive a new necklace if it couldn't be repaired. But then came the real nightmare: two months passed without a single update. I had to call them repeatedly, only to be ignored, given excuses about how "busy" they were, and brushed aside. Paula finally called me back--two days later. Paula, the store manager, is condescending, dismissive, and incapable of listening to a customer's concerns without cutting them off. Instead of taking responsibility, she blamed me for the poor condition of the necklace, claiming it was due to the engraving--despite the fact that the necklace was perfectly fine before the chain broke. It was possible to have the necklace as I originally intended--because that's how it was when I purchased it! Now, Helzberg is offering me a replacement but wants me to pay $70 to have it re-engraved or, alternatively, a refund that does not include the engraving cost. This is completely unacceptable! Do yourself a favor--take your business elsewhere. Helzberg Diamonds does not stand behind their products, their warranty is a joke, and their customer service is downright appalling.

The owner then proceeded to give the broken brace back to my father and stated that he can't do anything about it because the clasp is made out of titanium and he can't fix it. We then asked him to replace the brace since he broke it but refused to do so stating he is not liable for what happened. This idiot just broke it by trying to adjust it without my father's consent! I only went in because of the onsite repair service that they offer for 2 of my pieces and ended up purchasing a beautiful piece from their collection. Kainat was so helpful, patient, and super sweet! Not only did she help answer all my questions on the repairs, she even gave me a good deal because it was my first time and they really want their clients leaving satisfied. We wanted to support our local jewelers but we've had two bad experiences here…read more First, my wedding ring had grown a little too tight so I took it to get resized. They ended up charging $800 and over a month to stretch it out so big that the white gold band became super super thin and the ring flew off my finger. It was comically too big. As soon as they saw it on my finger they agreed to take it back down several sizes. But even with the attempt to fix their mistake the ring still swings around on my finger and the band remains tiny compared to what to once was. I knew the band would thin a bit but since they mistakenly doubled the amount it needed to be stretched I lost a lot of my wedding rings integrity due to that mistake. Even with that, when my husband lost his wedding ring we went back here to find a replacement. Big mistake. After looking at a bunch of rings in the store we didn't find anything in the style he likes that was also white gold. It was important to him to have white gold both to match my ring and also he explained to them he didn't like the various yellow shades of gold against his darker skin tone. The store suggested a more expensive option on special order. We paid up front. The ring came in over a month later and I was out of town for work during that time. My husband picked up the ring and was immediately disappointed but he didn't tell me about it. It was yellow gold. Had I been there I would have refused it, but he did not feel comfortable doing that so he took it home and by the time I came back from my trip, he'd already been wearing it and feeling like he could not return it. Now we have two wedding rings that do not match and that both of us are disappointed about all because of mistakes by the store. And that just makes me sad.
