If you want to get your hands on her Rugelaches, but not buy in bulk (3lbs minimum), you'll need to find another store that sells them. Erica's does not have a storefront. But she sells to many businesses around the NYC area. I visited Murray's bagels in Greenwhich Village and got some chocolate, raspberry, and apricot rugelaches. Brought them home and enjoyed them with some tea. They were delicious and quality cookies. Had nice layers of jam/chocolate, but I wish it had more walnuts. Not too sweet too! It was a bit stale from sitting in the glass cookie jar at Murray's, but not Erica's fault. read more

I live in NYC and have tried rugelach at so many different bakeries and kosher/koshed style delicatessens. My mother made her own. Never have I had any as good as Erica's. So much delicious filling. Other companies made rolled up dough with some jam in between and pass them off as rugelach. I strongly recommend Erica's. My favorite are the raspberry and apricot. First I have to share how amazing Erika is. I contacted her to ask about ordering which turned into a wonderful phone conversation in which she shared all her favorite Brooklyn spots. I then ordered a variety of her delicious treats and she generously supplied me with some extra goodies. The rugelach is so fresh and full of yummy flavors be it chocolate or apricot or chocolate dipped! Honestly something everyone needs to try. I have no idea how this place has not been reviewed, but basically they make the best rugelach I've ever tasted. My credo for food is: eat what you like but make sure it's the best! And I can honestly say "Erica's Rugelach is the best I have had." The buttery pastry deliciously falls apart as you take the first bite. Now these are Rugelach . Real nuts and jam, filled. I don't know what all else is in here but man it is just luscious. The real deal. No skimping. Maybe not each pastry piece of each type is hand rolled anymore like in the old daze, but definitely old days quality. Those pre-packaged Delancey brand rugelach you see around NYC and area--a disgrace. What gonif would sell you that dreck? Sour cream or cream cheese? No. Ok, then, Butter? No. TheDelancey cinnamon ones- no nuts no cinnamon just a red smear of something pretending to be fruit. Said it had "currents" ie small type raisins, in it. Whole box- Not One. Not one raisin, not one currant. Gonifs. (Look it up that's why God gave you Google). You want the real thing, you need to go to a Baker, not a corporation. Someone up at four in the morning rolling out dough because they love it. You want to see fingerprints in the dough. Erica is a Baker. May God smile upon her. I grew up in NJ in the 50's and 60's. My grandparents' home was always filled with wonderful baked goods from a bakery in Perth Amboy. I had searched forever to find baked goods that tasted anything like my memories. The rugelach from Erica's are exactly what I remember. BEST RUGELACH IN THE WORLD! My accounting firm has been giving a gift of Rugelach to our clients and friends each year for the past 10 years. One year we sent another holiday gift to our clients instead of the Rugelach and received a lot of disappointed emails. Personally I love rugelach and buy it from various bakeries to bring to family and friends parties. Unfortunately they never stand up to Erica's Rugelach. While I've never actually indulged in the tasty treats (although I'm sure they are quite amazing) Erica provided me with the best customer service I've ever experienced. Sent an assortment as a surprise gift and changed the delivery address three times, which was extremely chaotic but even through all of it she remained very understanding. Her cooperation was outstanding and followed up within minutes through email letting me know everything was sent out to the final address I had given her. She is so entirely sweet conversing on the phone and through email and her customer service is inexplicably amazing. read more

I gave Erica the ultimate test my daughter's dorm at RPI during finals. I only wish the Knicks would do half as well as Erica.
