I almost tried to take it apart myself after watching YouTube videos that said it's usually just dust inside, but I'm really glad I didn't. James knew immediately what the problem was just by looking at the keyboard before taking it apart (he could see a slightly bigger gap between that key and the next; something I couldn't see even when he pointed it out). He took it apart and showed me a crack in the key in question. He replaced the key while I waited and it was good as new. It was a very reasonable price as well. He also met me downstairs at the loading dock with a cart and we rode up on the freight elevator. I now have a go-to place if we ever need another repair. Incidentally, he said he sometimes gets people who bring him a box of parts because they took their piano apart after watching YouTube but couldn't fix it or put it back together. James said the problem is hardly ever dust.

This review is a little overdue... We purchased our Estonia at the beginning of 2023. I had been to…read morea few shops but found most of the salespeople either not knowledgeable or pushy (or both). Roger was very hands-on but not in any way obtrusive. He encouraged me to try every piano, as I was eager to do, and I surprised myself when I fell for the gently used Estonia (a brand with which I had very little experience). He explained the nuances of each instrument and answered all of my questions before I made my decision. An easy sell! Delivery was great (I forget who they used but it was flawless) and Roger spent time at our house tuning it - perfectly. Alas, we ended up deciding to move back to the west coast, but first to a small rental that would not accommodate a grand piano, and we were faced with the prospect of having to sell or store the piano for an undetermined amount of time. Roger's partner, Carol, convinced us not to sell (which we really didn't want to do, anyway) and helped us move the piano into storage. Thankfully, we found our forever home, and ten months since leaving the northeast we have our Estonia back!
