The owner made no effort at all to try and accommodate my needs.There was a Lot of confusion over costs, appointments and what needed to be done to my car. Instead of being courteous, he basically told me he didnt want my business,and put all blame and responsibility on me. I wouldn't want him to work on my car. These guys are awesome! Great mechanics and great customer service. I was extremely far away from home 60+ miles away and my truck broke down in the middle of a storm and in a town which I was unfamiliar. I had to get it towed to the nearest mechanic, AAA recommended Eric's Precision Autoworks, I called to make sure they could check my truck they said no problem, the found my issue and got me on my way home. My truck was taking in a lot of water into the intake due to a cracked wheel inner fender/liner, I told the guys if they could fix it, I needed to get home. The mechanic went above and beyond and fabricated a wheel well/liner to deflect the water from entering my air filter intake box, cleaned the throttle body, replaced my air filter and got me back on the road. I could only give a 4 star rating due to the smart aleck remark made by the service writer Robert. I told him that I wanted to find out why my car was making a rattling noise under the hood and make a decision on the problem before doing regular service. Instead he went ahead and did the regular service even though I ask him to wait. When I complained he said "Do you want me to put the old filter back in the car ?" Disrespectful and smart aleck remark. The overall service was 5 star. Also Eric use to give a free wash coupon with all service. Not this time. It wasn't even offered. Today I was fortunate enough to have my brakes fail while in the process of leaving after making a delivery to Eric's Precision Autowork. Came I for service when my car broke down nearby...stayed they could make it happen, but didn't pull through. I had to get it towed to another mechanic out of pocket and it came with a scratch, ripped bumper, and lockout of my Ignition device without an apology, let alone any compensation. They played it dumb. I went here because I say reasonable ratings, but didn't work out for me. Then you should of assessed it better and let me know the situation why it was not worked on. You should have asked if there was an extra tip or had some questions for me as far as your concerns and how you wanted everything prepped. I'm renting a car on my own dime and it would have been nice to at the very least hear the truth. the ignition device yes the breathalyzer you said you knew how to operate, you're a real pro. Putting me on blast Thank you for your honesty...yes I didn't call about to notify you because it was the morning and your shop was not open...It was an emergency situation and you could of easily discussed when we met face-to-face, and decided at that time it was not a good fit. I'm sure you're a good business as I see other reviews justifying that, but in my case, I had a frustrating situation only become worse because of over promising and under delivering. read more

Eric is a good dude. Brought my big diesel truck in for a major AC problem that required taking the whole dash apart. Most shops wouldn't even touch it. I brought car in severs weeks ago and was told I would need to leave car over night, then the guy finds out what's wrong and says oh yeah we can do it right now for 500 bucks so I had no choice. They were suppose to secure my battery down and check other fuses which was not done, so I came back in to have it done , and now they are to busy and have to drive 1/2 back next week. When I picked up my car, the guys here told me that they were able to do the transmission service anyways because the diffs and transmission were housed in the same location (at no extra cost)....they didn't have to do this, I wouldn't have known any better, and they could have charged me separate costs, but they have integrity!
