My god, Erin is THE BEST. I waited for literal years to get in to see her, and now I will never go anywhere else for a facial. Let me tell you why. 1) She genuinely cares about her work and her customers. It shines through in everything she does. Her space is well organized, cozy and welcoming, and her products are really tempting (and if I didn't already use the best skincare line out there for me, I'd buy whatever she recommended). 2) She takes her time getting to know you and your current routines, and what your skin needs. Everyone's skin is different, and my own skin changes a lot depending on time of year, stress, and age. She takes everything into account and customizes my facials to what I need that day. 3) Her prices are all inclusive - no tipping needed. I have been following Erin wherever she's worked since she started as an esthetician. Her facials are relaxing, make my skin feel amazing, and the massage that goes along with it is fantastic! Waxing? She's the only one I trust. The wax she uses is gentle, her manner is gentle, she is meticulous, and she just "gets it". I hesitate to write this review because I want to keep Erin all to myself: SHES THE REAL DEAL. I just had my first facial with Erin and never have I experienced more knowledgeable, kind and expert care. Almost 11 months ago I had a baby and since then my "skin care routine" is lucky to include a splash of water on my face. Caring for a baby, nursing and working basically left my skin a mess. Luckily Erin got it (she's a mom too) and took special care to make sure she used products that were breastfeeding safe. And perhaps more importantly she helped me put together a PRACTICAL skin care plan. I don't often leave reviews but I felt compelled to leave this one because I had such a great experience with Erin. I booked a consultation along with my facial, which I would highly recommend. We talked through all of the products I'm using and my skin care regime and my concerns/goals for my skin, and I walked out feeling confident about my skin care plan for the first time ever. The facial itself was wonderful - relaxing, great products, and Erin was gentle but meticulous with extractions, which is key in my book. I was browsing my old Yelp reviews when I realized my last ones for Erin were years ago when she was working for a salon in Harvard Square. The fact that much of her client base followed her to her own business says a lot about her skills as an esthetician. I first started going to Erin because my sister talked me into getting my eyebrows waxed regularly. I scheduled an appointment with Erin because she worked near me. I expressed concerns about my sensitive skin and not wanting too much of my eyebrows waxed. I have thick brows, and I wanted them to be cleaned up without being over-waxed. From my first appointment to my most recent one, Erin has done a great job of maintaining my brows' natural arches. Since then, I have also gone to her for other waxing services and facials. Most recently, I visited Erin for waxing and a facial. After our appointment, my skin was glowing, and my eyebrows looked amazing. Lately, I've been trying to go more natural with my routine skincare. However, my skin has reacted strongly to organic moisturizers in the past. After shopping around for new products at different stores, asking friends for advice, and looking online for guides on the "best" organic skincare, I asked Erin for recommendations. After my facial, I bought a new moisturizer and got samples of other skincare from her. If you want to transition to natural skincare, Erin will point you in the right direction. read more

I've been seeing Erin for years and she is the best! I've seen her for waxing and for facials and she is so great at both. My brows always look very natural and my skin looks amazing after my facials. She uses natural products and has a few of her favorites available for purchase, but she is also happy to recommend other options. She is easy and fun to talk to but also understands if you just want to zone out during your treatment. Not only does she do an excellent job but her affable demeanor makes the whole experience very pleasurable.
