I called Mary and she said as long as I gave her the Groupon code before the expiration date, I can sign up for a later date and she'd honor the Groupon. I really appreciated that! Anyway, we met in front of the statue at Treasure Island Park in Laguna Beach, then walked around while she showed us some cool camera tricks. She is the sweetest person too. She is patient and willing to work with people of all levels with any type of digital camera. One old man brought his really old point and shoot, and Mary did her best to help him too while giving the rest us her full attention. She really knows her stuff.

His own freelance work is astounding; most of what he does outside of films and animation is in oil paintings, but he also sells some original sketches. If you are at all interested in contemporary Asian American art, you should at least go check out the website, which has examples of Davy's work. I think Davy might also do commissions. I love walking through the Soka Millennial Trail during sunsets. Parking is free on campus. It's…read morevery clean and the walking paths are very clear. It's a circular perimeter so there's no way of getting lost. Just don't go off the beaten paths and stay on the paved walkway. The fountain area is very peaceful and lovely. It feels like the day's stress gets washed off walking through them. The trail is about a a mile and a half walk. Easy and great cardio workout with dogs.
