The best part was they LISTENED to every word I said. The technician "Maraio" listened and analyzed the problem. Mario worked on the problem and on the same day fixed all that was wrong.. I swear that he must know as much about the system as the designer. I have never had as good an experience with car repair as Alamo Auto Electric. This is a great place. I brought my daughter's car here because the battery wouldn't hold a charge. sure enough it had to…read morebe replaced. but then one of the O2 sensors was bad so that had to be done along with a few other items. The total bill ended up being $1300. No problem, this was my baby girl's first car so I said do it all. Got the car back and the new battery was dead by morning. Turns out this car had a module that will randomly turn on electrical stuff when it goes bad and it kills the battery. Took a month to get the old module rebuilt and cost $2000. But the worst part is that things that worked before now NO LONGER WORK such as the AC on/off switch. Also the back windows no longer roll down. Items that worked before bringing the car there. When I called to inquire about it, the response was "We can take a look at it". Not: 'I'm sorry that you're having issues since we've worked on your car, let me take care of that for you'. They wanted me to spend more money to get shit fixed that wasn't an issue before I brought them the car in the first place. I had already spent well over $3k getting this car "fixed" and now more stuff is broken on it, NAH, I'm not spending anymore money at this scam mechanic so that the can bleed me dry. Enough is enough. If you can, avoid this place at all costs because they will "fix" one thing and then you'll end up needing them to "fix" something else that wasn't a problem until you brought it to them. I expected I higher level of customer service after spending so much money. I was wrong. They're nothing but a bunch of SCAM ARTISTS!

Since then, J&S has worked on all of our cars, RVs and travel trailer. Stuart never says no...he tries to figure it out. If it is not something he does / can do, he tells you so and recommends a shop that does. His rates are more than fair and when he fixes something, it works. I also appreciate that he allows us to purchase the parts. We don't go anywhere else! Update Oct 3 2018 - He really goes above and beyond. The rear axle on our RV broke. The whole rear end had to be replaced. His friend was selling an RV with a similar rear end to ours. We bought it, had it towed to a friend's land. Stuart and crew removed the rear end and other parts, installed it, then modified the driveshaft. Once again she rides! Jun 2019-Since then, he replaced all the cylinders on my Chevy SSR. I bought it with the convertible top inop, joined an SSR forum, got step by step instructions w/photos on how to replace all the cylinders and he took it an ran with it. I now have a fully functional SSR convertible! He is also working on my husband's GMC Sierra.
