All I have to say is WOW! Seriously, I was in the area for…read morework, so I got out my Yelp app and Butcher Bobs came up. I was NOT DISAPPOINTED. One of the best BBQ places in all of PA. I ordered a half rack of ribs, side of mac and cornbread. OMG. The ribs were tender, with an amazing dry rub and BBQ on the side. They were a nice size with a great smoke flavor. Speaking of smoke, next time I go, I'm getting the bucket of mac. Creamy, smokey, spoons full of comfort. Finally the cornbread. Probably one of the best cornbreads I've ever had; it is more in line with a pound cake. I could eat an entire loaf. Smooth and sweet. I got my order to go. Great customer service!

I was on 309 North and passed it (it was on the left hand side). So, I pull a u-ey (is that how one abbreviates U turn). I was excited because I saw the smoker outside with a ton of smoke coming out of the chimney. I go in, order a full rack of ribs (why not? There was that smoker outside pumping out smoke). I was SO disappointed by how hard the ribs were. They were not tender AT ALL. Maybe I just got a bad batch, but I definitely have had WAY better ribs. I would not recommend this place. Update: owner responded with sincere intentions. I WILL give these guys a second try. I'll post the results afterwards.

There's something about that tray of traditional red that keeps us coming back for more. Add some…read moreoften-rotating and very creative wing sauce varieties and it's sure to be a crowd pleaser. I know they're a local favorite, I know they have their devoted followers, but I really do feel like it's one of the more unique pizza offerings in our area. We got takeout and it was ready right on time. I hesitate to say it, but I mean it in the most delicious, addictive way; it's like a thinner, tastier, less stick-to-the-roof-of-your-mouth-ish Nardone's style (in shape and feel), with a more complex cheese build. It's a hybrid tray/bar pie vibe, and you'll wonder how many cuts you can take before others do the math. My son ordered the cheesesteak; I had a hard time verbalizing 'just steak and cheese' but check that picture out, I think he's onto something. The wing sauces don't feel weighed down by butter or additives; they're bright, flavorful and unique blends that you can experiment with, since you can get orders as small as six bone-in wings. One of the sauces we tried was Szechuan orange, almost reminiscent of Asian duck; sweet and tangy with a little peppery zing, the boneless bites come SAUCED. I still prefer the regular wings. And it would be criminal not to mention Grandma Kelsey's Pizza, which might not adhere strictly to the Grandma lineage (whatever that is) but is certainly in my top 3 grandma pies locally; really incredible!
