    Cheese Ravioli with vodka sauce
    Janelle T.

Staying with family visiting and wanted a place close by. Family said they enjoyed eating here so have it a shot for our 20th anniversary as we don't need to go all out and be crazy, just wanted a good meal. Sat at the bar and enjoyed some specials. $5 glasses of wine and some pasta dishes for $9. My husband got the chicken Marsala (not on special) and loved it! He enjoyed the heavy sauce vs it being watered down like some places. He also had the calamari and said it was good. I myself enjoyed red wine, arancini and cheese stuffed ravioli with a vodka sauce. Everything was cooked well and had good flavor. Big portion size for the pasta and a great price! Waitress at bar was amazing. Very attentive and friendly. Her mom (Nona) makes some of the desserts, so will have to go back one day for wine and dessert! Only saw the bar area and outside but appearance it was nice and clean. Would definitely come back.

We had a group of 10 here and had a very nice meal. The waitress was fantastic with making sure all dietary restrictions were honored and the food was delicious. The portions were excellent, and the flavors were delicious. The seared salmon had the perfect sear.

Second time at Marianacci's and tried all new dishes we liked just as much. Again, the apps displayed a lot of thought and creativity, while the dinner staples were very well composed. Very happy sitting outside on their deck. Great food, service, and atmosphere.

This is the Tuesday pasta special with raviolis, gnocchi and lasagna- plus it came with soup or salad. Very filling!!

Very nice new outside deck which we enjoyed. The food is homemade and delicious with large portions.

I dined here many years ago and felt that it was nothing special and had no desire to return, but, as our friends wanted to try we went, even though now it was a distance to drive to. You will first notice a very, very, very antiquated restaurant in need of some serious updating. If ou can find information online, you will note that in looking at they menu, prices are in fact, very reasonable, but then you will find this disclaimer. (Menu may not be up to date. Submit corrections.). Consequently, when we sat down to order, our friends said, gosh, "these prices are nothing like what we saw online". I educated him on the disclaimer. We shared an antipasto which was quite good along with their bread. I think their menu is rather limited, utilizing the same ingredients in different ways. Their claim to fame seems to be serving in oversized bowls with a lot of sauce. We had one of their seafood specials, some ravioli, eggplant parmesan and calamari. The calamari was hot and fresh, but extremely bland. What is usually served with some jalapeño and lemons and various dipping sauces, was under salted and only served with some marinara sauce. Very disappointing. The eggplant parm was tasty, but the inside ricotta cheese was lukewarm at best, so not a good way to be served. The ravioli was tasty, not a lot of them, but swimming in sauce. The best dish was the seafood special, nice flavor. I note that many of the reviews on this page are from "out of towners", so I suppose if you are visiting from a bigger, more metropolis area, the outdated environment might seem charming. To me, living semi-local, first off I generally don't go out for Italian food because I am a fantastic cook and Italian food (especially those dishes that are heavy on the pasta) is perhaps the simplest and least expensive to prepare, so I tend to dine at things I find to be a treat that I generally would not cook, like something very mediterranean or Thai or Indian. So, although this food in this restaurant was good, it was, what we would say, nothing special. Good for what it is, a very basic local neighborhood place.

We were lucky enough to score a romantic, private booth at Grico's and they were offering their Valentine's menu as far out as Thursday. There was a perfect pace to our meal, and the drinks were noticeablely delicious. The appetizers were flavorful but still light; no heavy breading on the clams casino, really nicely seasoned and the jumbo lump crab cocktail was so fresh I just opted for a squeeze of lemon. The salads were incredible; the croutons on the Caesar were crisp and airy, the toasted pine nuts with the arugula salad added that crunch that some salads are missing. It would have been an epic meal even if it had to end there, but the entrees delivered as well. The massive portion of Seafood Fra Diavolo (shrimp, scallops, calamari and clams in spicy marinara over linguine) had my fiance packing leftovers, and the only reason I didn't finish my meal was to have another crack at this savory peppercorn encrusted bone-in pork shank beauty the next day. Rested on a mushroom brandy cream sauce, with broccoli and oven-roasted crispy seasoned potatoes, every bite smothered in that sauce was delicious. We felt like, for what we got, it was an excellent value and items were appropriately priced; staff were very welcoming and had great, honest and personal recommendations to help us decide between all the great menu options. This is basically seafood-forward Italian dining done right, with top-notch cocktails in an inviting atmosphere...we'll most certainly be back!

With that said this still should've been a five star experience if not for a couple tiny hiccups. First off, I started off drinking at their bar and bottle shop across the parking lot. In fact, I was going to get a pizza over there, except I wanted to be all healthy and get a salad as well, which was not offered on the limited, pizza and snacks only menu available at the bottle shop. I closed my tab and walked across the parking lot only find a very interesting set up of a to go area very much separated from a sit down only restaurant. Quickly figured out I need to be in the to go area, where I was able to get a draft beer while I waited for my pizza and salad to go. Luckily I asked for a min to settle my tab as I wanted a can to take with me, at which point I found out about the cash only aspect. Last part of slight disappointment resided in the fact that they let me sit there with an empty glass without telling me my pizza was ready, until I finally went to the counter and they asked if I was ready to go. Uh yeah I was actually. By the time I go back to the hotel 14 minutes away, the pizza had gotten cold and required reheating. Fortunately, it was good enough that even with the reheat, revealed itself to be one hell of a pizza. Subtract another fraction of a point for not putting any plastic silverware for my salad. By the way, salad was fine, but pizza slaps.
