I felt uncomfortable shipping it away to NY, so I made an appointment at IRepair and was told by J ( forgive me if I am spelling this wrong!I never asked how it was spelled) that it would be difficult but it was doable and would cost me about 560 dollars. In deed it took a few weeks- J explained every step of the way and indeed when it was finally done it cost what they had told me, not a penny more. Despite quite a bit of difficulty in getting my disk to respond to their software. Highly recommend. Seems they love a challenge at IRepair - and recoveries are often just that.

I needed a new battery for my iPhone 13 because it's been dying really super fast lately…read more I made an appointment online to be there between one and 2 PM on Friday, July 24 I got there a little early and they told me it was gonna be about two hours long and to come back about 3 o'clock. I received a phone call about 2:15pm letting me know that my phone was done. I got there and they had just started charging it and it was up to 12%. They said all the batteries that they get that are brand new are at zero and they all have to be charged up to 100%. The regular price for having it put in and for the battery was about $119 but I had a coupon for $10 off so I only paid about $109 which was nice. The employees were nice very nice and answered every question I had. They were quite busy in there. There are a lot of customers coming and going. I would definitely go back there for another battery or if my screen breaks or any other damage to my phone that needs repair. They also repair Computers and it showed on Yelp. I believe that they also fix Nintendo switches, which is really nice to know. So far my battery seems to be holding a charge definitely longer than my other one did.

They also went over the repair agreement thoroughly, including the $75 diagnostic fee, which goes toward the cost of any repair. At first, I got a call saying the motherboard was completely damaged and likely beyond repair, which was disappointing. Then the next day, they called back and said they had spent more time looking into it and were actually able to fix it. The repair ended up costing an additional $150, but it was absolutely worth it. My kids' PS5 had stopped accepting discs, and now it's working again. They also advised against relying on random YouTube repair tutorials (oops), since DIY fixes can sometimes make the problem much worse (especially if you're clueless like me). Overall, I had a great experience and would definitely come back here again, although hopefully I won't need to anytime soon!

Saw him pouring alcohol on it to get the glue off...when he was done the cameras were blurry...three hours later trying to fix it...nothing. $163.12 for a battery replacement and now I have a damaged phone because Apple at the other end of the store said it is water damaged and cannot be fixed.. I do not recommend these clowns. Now I am out $163 and had to get a new used phone for $600 the evening. Phone is turning purple as the evening goes on as they really screwed it up.. DONT GO THERE. I will get some restitution as these guys should not be in business. A Lady before us was waiting as they couldn't even put on a screen protector right and had to do it again..
