Do not waste your time checking out other companies......... I just moved into a new house and I had to get new blinds and drapes. I am a really difficult and picky person so I took estimates from 3 different companies and my plane was top take a few more. As soon as we met Vinnie we knew we do not need to look any further, he was very knowledgeable, professional, and personable and to top it all his prices are very competitive. It was very hard for me to choose the colors of the drapes and the blinds and Vinnie took the time and came to my house 3 different times with his samples and helped me choose the right color for me. I have lived in my home for awhile and have been perplexed as to what to put on my windows. There are 3 sliding glass doors all on the same wall. My décor is very contemporary, my backyard is beautiful but the sun is brutal. I have had MANY drapery companies come out and they all recommended drapes on rods. Obviously this defeats my desire to see the outside. I looked on Yelp under "shades and blinds" and thought I'd give E.S.C. Draperies call. I'm so glad I did as they completely understood what I was looking for. Vinnie came over and the first thing he suggested was sunshade panels and they are the perfect solution! They are great looking and do everything I want. They are stream line, block the strong sun yet I can still see through them when they are closed. The material is a mesh like fabric and it is white like my walls which make them almost disappear when they are pulled back. Vinnie made everything easy for me and installed them so quickly. He definitely knows his business and was fun to work with. I have other windows in my house that we will be discussing and I look forward to doing business with him again. read more

I highly recommend ESC Draperies. Once my husband and I met with Vinnie the owner, we knew who was going to do our window treatments. He knows his industry and was easy and pleasant to work with. We had remodeled and upgraded the house after a flood and needed window treatments throughout the downstairs and in the master bedroom. We wanted stylish but neutral because we plan to sell in a few years. After the initial visit and set of measurements, Vinnie came out again to help us decide, walking us through the options, calling his contacts right from our kitchen table to get answers to questions about material and availability, working to get us the best choices for our budget. Each window seemed to have its own issues and with a dark house, we needed privacy but as much light as possible. And the new kitchen slider had a glass doggie door panel that we had to work around while the kitchen window needed blinds of different lengths to clear the granite on the side walls. Vinnie re-measured throughout the house just to be sure and alerted us to discrepancies in size in how the windows were made so we wouldn't be surprised. The various window treatments came when he promised. He sent his installers twice because the wood blinds were ready before the sliders and he knew we had lived without any coverings for several months and were anxious to get something up. His installers were pleasant and quick. Too bad Vinnie just does window treatments. He and ESC Draperies are the kind of company you want to clone for your other vendor needs. read more

Patti has a terrific design sense, coupled with an ability to pick products that the customer will love and that coordinate with and integrate everything in the home. She worked with us to keep within our budget and still be completely thrilled with the end result. Her understanding of color, texture, style and light in window coverings is outstanding. Wow! I am thrilled with ESC Draperies. We had a very complicated window situation which I won't fully go into, but basically, our architect designed a window that was both enormous and about 20 feet high. It meant that we woke up with the sun every morning which these days is sometimes close to 5am. Unacceptable! But, in came Vinnie from ESC and he solved the problem. I was worried that the end result would be functional in keeping out the early morning sun, but would probably turn a beautiful architectural window design into something drab and ugly. I couldn't have been more wrong. These guys did such an amazing job designing and installing the shades that they look like they were part of the originally intended design. They are even on a remote and all four of the shades move up and down in unison coming to an even line at the bottom even though they had to be staggered at the top.
