I then found 805 Shutters and Mike gave me confidence that a shade cover will help modify the temperature. The landlord and I were leaning towards selecting the honeycomb shades but opted to try the shutter shades that were recommended as they can withstand the heat better, hence last longer. Mike and his team member came out and installed the shutters very efficiently; and we were finally able to enjoy the space! Wish I found 805Shutters sooner so we could have utilized the upstairs as a great workspace For the past 3 years. During the initial visit they came out to take measurements. I let the employee know that I specifically wanted the mid rail of my shutters to line up with the mid rail of my windows (they are the type that slide up to open) so he took extra care to make sure everything matched up. A few weeks later they returned to install the shutters. I've had them for about a year now. I recently called them for a warranty repair (a couple of the frames were rubbing together, likely due to settlement) and they came out within a week and fixed them free of charge. Overall just a very solid experience. They're a responsive, no hassle company and their products are well priced and good quality.

I only had issues with the plastic hardware cracking and needing to be replaced. I called the office and asked about the cost of just the hardware. To my surprise, the person I spoke with didn't ask how many pieces were broken; he asked for my address, and a few days later I received the hardware. The replacement hardware he sent was generous. Now, that's what I call exemplary customer service and satisfaction!! I will call again soon for another quote.

We first worked with Rick 6+ years ago when we moved into our home. He installed shutters in our bedrooms and office, and they've held up beautifully. I remembered how professional and on top of everything he was, so I reached out again when we needed blinds for our bedroom. Jeremy and Parker came out for measurements and made the whole process incredibly easy. They walked us through options, gave thoughtful suggestions, and provided an estimate. All in about 10-15 minutes. About two weeks later, they returned for installation and were done in under 5 minutes. Everything was seamless. The best part is how it turned out. It's exactly what we envisioned, if not better. We now have automated blinds in our bay window that give us privacy while still letting in light, and they look so clean in person. They even upgraded us to a system without a visible battery pack, which made a big difference aesthetically. Truly some of the best in the industry. Friendly, efficient, and trustworthy. We asked for a quote from My WIndow Solutions, got one that was quite good. We had explained the rationale for getting a replacement window (the leak). Parry sent over his crew right away to caulk around the existing one so we wouldn't get any incursion while waiting for the new one to arrive and get installed. Nice! For this job, I had also asked to have a custom window casing and deep windowsill built. We agreed that I'd buy the materials (a particular trim profile and hardwood species), prime them, and they'd do the cutting and installation. This collaboration worked perfectly.

Never use this company !!! I spent $5800 for a double wood front door 3 years ago. First off, it…read morewas supposed to be primed before installation. It was not. Second, it was a green door, meaning, it was not totally cured and oozed out sap for 4 months. 6 months later, the door cracked. After several months, they agreed to a new door. When it came, it was not measured correctly so I had to wait another 6 months for the next door. so now the door is installed, I had to pay again to get it repainted. Guess what, 6 months later, that new door cracked. They will not replace the door so I have to live with a cracked door since they told me it is past warranty. their solution...pay another $1500 to install a fiberglass door as a replacement. I would not even give this company 1 star if I could.

I'm so glad I did as they completely understood what I was looking for. Vinnie came over and the first thing he suggested was sunshade panels and they are the perfect solution! They are great looking and do everything I want. They are stream line, block the strong sun yet I can still see through them when they are closed. The material is a mesh like fabric and it is white like my walls which make them almost disappear when they are pulled back. Vinnie made everything easy for me and installed them so quickly. He definitely knows his business and was fun to work with. I have other windows in my house that we will be discussing and I look forward to doing business with him again.
