Escape:chandler was easily one of the best escape room experiences I have had. My group chose 'The Cabin' and we were not disappointed in the slightest. Cleverly set up, the room had a refreshing combination of locks and technology. It didn't lean too much in one direction, and kept us interested and engaged in the activity. We did Kates Motel (play off of bates motel) i talked to both Kate and her husband and they were both AMAZING!!! I had a group of 9 and kates motel game is max of 8 but they were SUPER accommodating and let us play with 9. Kate was our game master and she was so helpful and great. We had the last game of the night and finished without finishing the room and we were all SO bummed that we were done but didn't finish but Kate was AMAZING and let us finish the room anyway. I CANNOT suggest Escape; Chandler more because i LOVED the family atmosphere. Kate took our group photo at the end and i could not have loved her more. My friends and I have all done around 40-50 rooms each so we were very excited to try out the new escape rooms that open around the valley. They've been open for a bit, and we finally got the opportunity to do two rooms: Pawn Shop and The Cabin. They make great use of the space that they have. Lobby looks beautiful and their rooms do too. Puzzles were the right amount of difficulty to make it challenging, while also rewarding. You'll get some classic puzzles and also some new unique ones here also. The game flows smoothly and puzzles makes sense so you're not stuck asking for clue after clue after clue. Definitely come support this business, you'll enjoy their rooms and be addicted to escape rooms (if you aren't already). We've done a lot of escape rooms, and this was our favorite by far. The puzzles/clues were difficult but made sense. I loved that it was not linear... we could have different people in our group working on different things at the same time, rather than everyone standing around while 1-2 people worked out a puzzle. Had a great experience. There was a lock that was a little finicky, but our Game Master, Melinda, paused our timer for us so the five minutes or so it took us to open the lock didn't mess us up. Tucked away in the back corner of a strip mall of Alma School and Chandler is this little gem. I have been to other room escapes before but I enjoyed this one a lot. We've been to multiple escape rooms all over the Valley and Escape Chandler is one of our favorites! The rooms are clever, well thought out, and make it a run for your money! It was very easy to schedule and they put us with other people (since we didn't have enough people to fill a whole room a lot). My boyfriend and I are escape room enthusiasts and we are, sadly, running out of rooms around the valley to do. So we were very excited to see that a new escape room opened in town. We're always hesitant with new places because you never know what the quality of the rooms will be like but we couldn't wait to try it out. From our first contact with one of the owners, Kate, all the way till we said our goodbyes, we had such a great experience. The customer service was fantastic and they (Kate & hubby (sorry, I don't remember his name)) were very friendly and also very accommodating, which we greatly appreciated. They made an excellent first impression and they were very welcoming and personable. It was just my boyfriend and me that did the room and it was a lot of fun. There were some challenging puzzles and others that we were able to get through fairly easy. It was a good balance. One thing we really liked was that the puzzles were all theme-related. We've done rooms that have puzzles that don't have anything to do with the theme so it takes away from it truly being an immersive experience. This is not the case with Pawn Shop. We escaped the room with just a little bit of time to spare so it is possible to do with just two people. Afterwards, we spent some more time chatting with Kate and hubby. You can tell they are really interested in connecting with their customers and also welcome feedback. It's always nice to find a good escape room with good people running it. I've been to a couple of escape rooms, and really I've been lucky enough to have a great time at all of them, and this one is no exception. I did their "Pawn Shop" room, which was lots of fun and I would consider pretty difficult - but in fairness most of the difficulty came from us overthinking the problems. ;) It's run by a husband and wife that are very passionate about it - and even go so far as to make the different gadgets in the rooms - any place that casually mentions doing things with Arduino's gets an automatic bonus from me. Overall a great location and a great place to take a date, family or company to do something a bit more memorable an interactive than just going out for drinks or a movie. We were first time escapers and had a wonderful time! Jon explained it well and was an excellent host. We did the Tony Rigatoni room and actually solved the case!! The clues helped immensely (you got 3) and Jon was very "in character" with the story and his assistance clues. I'd love to go back and try another one because the clues and setup were so well done. The room felt very realistic and the clues that we were lead through were just enough - not hard/to the point where it was impossible, but rather involved the right amount of thinking. My cousin and I took my 3 boys (10,12 and 14) here a couple weeks ago. The directions on the website were perfect because it's not in the most obvious location. The owners were very friendly. The space is really nice and clean. The actual escape room was much larger than I expected. We had a great time and my 14 year old, who I had to bribe to go actually LOVED it.
