This is my first time going in an escape room, and now I want to go AGAIN! I went to the runaway train experience with my family, and the experience was mind bending, extremely clever, and amazingly lsuspenseful! I like drama, so this was a perfect place for me. I personally think if you like to bend your brain, this is perfect for you. It also had so many distractions, that me and my family ran out of time! So, you better look out! There are 4 more experiences that I didn't go to, but their backstories sound amazing! I would tell you the things I did, but you should go see yourself! So I had heard about a few different escape room attractions in other cities from friends who talked about what a fun thing they were to do for a unique experience but I was unprepared for how awesome the escape experience was! So, there are going to be multiple scenarios but the first one available here is Cell Block C. I really did not know what to expect and was surprised at how realistic the setup is. I don't want to give much away for fear of spoiling your experience but the nut shell version is that you are handcuffed and put into a prison cell and you have an hour to escape. There are a myriad of clues and puzzles that help you get out if you use your brain and work together as a team. We had a group of six and got out with a few minutes to spare but I am sure that a lot of groups don't make it. This is a crazy fun activity and these guys really have done at making the scenario realistic and challenging while still allowing for some clues and help so that you never get too frustrated. This would be an epic activity for a date or for a larger group of friends. I can't wait for the additional experiences to open (the beginning of February is when the managers said it would be online!) I can't recommend this activity any more highly! Do it!! read more

The entire IT department has been here twice. Once for the Inheritance and once for C-Block. We escaped both times, and it was incredibly fun. You honestly don't know if you're going to be able to get out at times. I would recommend this to anyone and everyone, but keep in mind the more people in your group the better, as it takes a lot of time to scour the room(s) for clues and objects AND using the information uncovered. read more

Went here and joined a group for Cell Block C - after being handcuffed and led into the cell and left to figure out how to get out- I knew that this experience was going to be fun. The authenticity of everything we saw was Grade 1. we had a great time and it's really mind blowing how intense it feels as you watch the clock and get closer and closer to escaping you heart really gets to pounding as though you're actually locked away. It's really interactive and its cool to see how strangers work together to solve problems without squabbling or arguing because you don't want to waste time. In the end we did escape with 2 mins to spare. It was great. they have 2 choices: Cell block C and The Inheritance. The building: located on the corner with street parking and a small lot . The inside was clean and the staff was really nice and informative. Overall great experience, wanted to go again but didn't get a chance. PS - we trashed that room, dragged items everywhere, turning over everything that we could trying to find clues. What a mind bending game! read more

Interesting, challenging, fun group activity. The staff was pleasant and explained how the program worked and made the experience fun. They were involved in the beginning and then you're own your own. The facility was clean and there was sufficient parking (a private lot and plenty of street if needed). We had a group of family mixed with three others we didn't know. I'd recommend a small group if possible or a group of people you know as this may help the overall experience. We visited this escape room on our quick vacation to Chattanooga. We decided to try out Prison Break and we were not disappointed. We absolutely loved the theme of the room. The puzzles in the room were challenging without being impossible. Although we didn't escape the room, we decided to come back the next day to try and escape. We also tried another room while we were there and that one was themed well also. The staff at Escape Experience Chattanooga was very nice and helpful. After trying some of the escape rooms back home, this is by far the best escape room we've done to date. 10/10 would recommend. We love this place. read more

My friend and I visited this place via the yelp reviews and we loved it! We only had two people in our party (I would recommend a group of four or so), but we were SO close to escaping! You have an hour to solve the puzzles (we did the C-Block), but we'll be back later this week to do The Inheritance course. We had a blast!! read more

We did "Vaccine - Search For The Cure" yesterday, and had a blast! It was our first escape room, and our family of four is now completely hooked! Walt, our host was personable, informative, funny, and made check in easy. The build out of the rooms we were in was very well done, set design quality. We love playing board games, and this experience took that love to a whole new level! We got out of the house and entered an interactive world, that left us wanting more! Cameron was the BEST! We did the virtual experience and it was such an unexpected blast. It takes a minute to get used to because you're directing someone with urgency and want to make sure you don't sound like you're barking orders! But once you get into the groove of asking the right questions and putting things together, it's really really fun to figure out. Five stars for our "body" in the room. When my wife and I were looking for a place to visit for one of our relaxing getaways she had found out about the Escape Experience and we decided that we would head to Chattanooga for our trip. After it was all said and done we couldn't not have been any happier with our choice! Not only did Chattanooga surprise us with its small town in a big city vibe but the Escape Experience literally blew our minds! After we escaped and with just minutes to spare we couldn't stop raving about how much fun we had and couldn't think of the last time we even had that much fun! Great experience ! Our group ranged in age from age 13 to 73 and I can't tell you which one of us had the most fun. We didn't quite escape but we were close! We have already recommended it to several of our friends and people that we met on the streets in Chattanooga that day. No one that we met in Chattanooga had heard of the place- so my recommendation would be that they give out T-shirts or charge a minimal fee, maybe even include it in the price of the experience! Incredibly fun. It is a bit pricey, but it is a great brain challenging experience for groups large and small. My boss took our staff for a retreat. I can not recommend it enough. Your group gets placed in a role playing scenario and you must work together as a team to escape whatever scenario you choose. Best time I've had in Chattanooga by far. A must try for adults. I do not recommend for children under 15. You will have to work together and be willing to handcuffed to strangers. Also be prepared to not finish the mission it is hard. However, it doesn't matter. The experience is worth the frustration!!! read more

This place was awesome. We did the C-block (jail) experience as a company group outing. It was a very unique experience and if you love puzzles, then you will have a blast. I won't give any details because I don't want to ruin it for you. The premise is that you are wrongly accused and you have an hour to break out. The whole experience is very well thought through. It's hard, but but not so much that it frustrates. I think they said about 40-50% beat the prison experience. I definitely will go back for the Inheritance. Quick tip - -You can have up to 8 with a minimum of 2 people in your team. I'd recommend being somewhere in the middle. Having 8 in our team made it hard because there was a lot of information and you didn't know what was used vs. not. read more

What an incredible experience! The staff was friendly and attentive and the course itself was incredibly well put together. Even though we didn't manage to escape I felt the difficulty was just right. I was afraid it would be too easy and not worth the money (which was really reasonable) but it really struck a balance between too hard and just challenging enough. Previously, while visiting Chattanooga, we did the Vaccine and The Bunker and loved them both. (The Vaccine has been my favorite escape room out of all the many escape rooms my family and I have attempted.) The Escape Experience team has done a great job of creating some awesome escape rooms. This recent trip to Chattanooga led us to the Train. We had been looking forward to the Train's opening since our last visit and we knew this was the one we would attempt to escape this time. We had another great time, however there were a few technical glitches such as the monitors not working, some other "props" not working, and rules not being thoroughly explained to some first timers that had joined our group. We felt these issues contributed to our not being successful in escaping, but who knows, if everything would have been working properly we may still have not escaped. . We contacted the company as soon as our experience was over to let them know about the issues we encountered. I just received a very kind call from Daniel, who was very apologetic for our less than 100% satisfaction rate. I told him that we still had a great time, but he wanted to make sure we were completely satisfied so he offered us a resolution to the situation that was more than fair. This is exactly how a successful business should be ran. We will continue to recommend this company and we will continue to be repeat customers. I'm looking forward to doing the Inheritance the next time we visit Chattanooga! read more

Did this today - our first escape room. I had two of my kids (17 and 24 year old guys) and husband with me. I wasn't sure what to expect, but this was such a blast! Very challenging but also entertaining and it kept all 4 of us so busy the hour flew by. Megan was a great team leader. This is fun of all ages. First time in an escape room, and HAD A BLAST! Highly recommend. Our family of 5, ranging from age 13 to 48, did Vaccine. What a great time. Everyone contributed. Didn't set any records and had to use some fierce dance moves to score some extra time, but we ultimately prevailed. Walt and the team at Escape Experience are great! "The Inheritance" was SO much fun! We chose the more difficult challenge for our first time, and we didn't escape! Only 27% of the people escape this one, and the week we went, only 3 other groups had escaped that week. The rest failed. We were so close though. It was a group of 8 adults, and had so much fun. It took a lot of brain power and laughter. There are so many puzzles from books to maps to birds to mirrors to math to everything in between! You are allowed 3 free hints, and then if you need any more hints, you can ask for them, but it will deduct from your time. I would not recommend this one for children because it was complex, and I think it would be frustrating for them. Adults, it was great! The C Block experience is easier, and you are all handcuffed together, so that would be a better one for children. The staff was very friendly and accommodating as well.
