Always a great time here before a flight. Lounge is on the smaller end l, but I've never had to wait. Staff is always friendly and very attentive. They always have a wide variety of food available served buffet style. My meals have always been good too. Usually pretty quiet on the inside which is nice. Lots of seating options with plenty of outlets. Only downside is that it's the B terminal which does not connect to A or C, so you have to go through TSA twice depending on your gate. That is more so an issue with the airport not the lounge itself. read more

The Escape Lounge is on the small side for a lounge, but very much needed and welcomed. With Columbus's airport being on the smaller side, I guess it makes sense. The site mentions you need a reservation, but I was able to walk-in, show my card, and enjoy a dirty martini and lunch before my flight. The staff was so pleasant and kept asking if I needed anything else to enjoy my time. I appreciated that. The chairs are comfortable; it's quiet and I was able to get a bit of work done before my flight. Would definitely visit again. read more

Very nice lounge. The food is way better than an Admirals club. Today featured an asian menu. Lot's of vegan choices too. Everything was fresh and tasty. The lounge is really clean, the chairs comfy and the electrical outlets and usb ports actually work. The staff are friendly and helpful, they keep the buffet stocked and are constantly cleaning. Overall, this is a smaller lounge and does not feature bathrooms, showers, quiet areas, meeting rooms or other amenities found at large Admirals clubs. On the other hand there is not a dollop of hummus to be found in the joint. (AA frequent travelers will get this.) Overall, when traveling through CMH, book a reservation here. I went through their website and it was easy. Lounge buddy no longer books this lounge. Highly recommend. read more

The Escape Lounge is The Lounge at CMH. Usually an Escape Lounge would be a place you're trying to break out of, but weary travelers want to break into this lounge to escape from the rest of the hordes. Just need to be a card member. Comfy seating, lots of outlets to charge your devices, eclectic buffet, bar with TV. Not large, but nice panoramic windows to look out at the runways. Bathrooms are outside of the lounge in the airport. Nice place to stopover but not stay for too long. read more

There are multiple ways to get access into this airport lounge. The staff are nice, they have a self serve coffee bar with a bunch of flavors and a full service bar. I was there for breakfast and they had a nice breakfast bar with both hot and cold options. Really nice chairs to catch a nap in and you get a great view of the sunrise. read more

When traveling, I enjoy taking advantage of the lounges in a given airport. Having not been to Columbus in a long time, I was pleased to see that there was actually a lounge in the airport (and one I could access. There is an Escape Lounge, which is a Centurion Studio Partner. Having been to Centurion and Escape Lounges previously, I went into this lounge with high expectations, and I was a bit disappointed for low quality of food and cleanliness in the lounge plus confusion on whether or not I needed to even get on a wait list to get into the lounge. The Escape Lounge is towards the end of Concourse B next to gate B32. The lounge is also accessible to passengers departing from all other concourses. When first walking into the lounge, you will notice a sign before you get to the check-in desk, which has a QR code for you to sign up for a wait list. I missed this and went to the desk and was redirected back to this sign. When I was filling out the online form, I was told there was no longer a wait so that I could check right in and enter the lounge. I was then in a lounging area with comfortable chairs with a bar and a buffet line for food. The Escape Lounge is not a large lounge; however, it would typically have anything you would want in an airport premium lounge. Entrance to the Escape room includes unlimited fast WiFi, charging ports and power outlets, print/scan/copy services, Pressreader (access to 7,000+ newspapers and magazines), and complimentary food and beverages). Unfortunately, any of the hot food options were not really hot, and most food items were needing to be refilled. When I tried to use the hot beverage machine, even that machine needed something to be refilled as the drink I ordered was not properly prepared. Even so, I am glad when looking at the menu to see the variety of food, which is more than most of the airline lounges. I just wish the quality of the food was as good as other Escape Lounges (or lounges in general). I also noticed that there were smushed fruits on the ground near me and the counters hadn't been cleaned in some time. I wiped the area in front of me down myself. According to their website (https://escapelounges.com), Escape Lounges accept guests flying with any airline or class. Children and babies are welcome to enter the lounge, with those aged 24 months and under entering for free. You can pre-book from $45, walk up and pay at the door (for $60), or enter with special access using an applicable membership or credit card or gain access through your airline. Compatible cards and programs include various American Express credit cards, the Priority Pass program, the Dragonpass program, the TAV Passport Card program, and Dreamfolks Card program. I use the American Express Platinum card to access the Escape Lounge and find that I can bring guests with me whereas you can only do that with the Centurion Lounge if you meet a certain spending threshold. While I would be glad to try the lounge out again if I was traveling through Columbus, I would certainly hope that the food quality and cleanliness would improve. read more

I had an amazing experience today. I was skeptical at first because it was a very small lounge, but I was able to find a seat at the bar and Alicia was my bartender. She was very amazing and awesome like I will go back just to talk to her. The liquor selection was also surprising in a very good way. The food was good. My boyfriend loved the mushroom chicken. There was a bit of a variety so that was good. I've never been to Columbus airport, but if I ever see this as a layover option l would be happy to choose it now that I know this lounge exists in Columbus. So thankful CMH finally has a lounge! I had an early (6:30am) flight to MIA. I left the hotel too early for breakfast. The lounge opened promptly at 5am and I was able to grab a quick bowl of fruit. The lounge is small, but very welcoming. I sat at a high top table because I was eating. Had I just been visiting, I would have sat in one of the many comfy chairs. Great addition to CMH! read more

This is the first club room in the Columbus airport. I've been to many club rooms and even though it is smaller it has all the services i need. There is always some kind of interesting food. The staff is friendly, especially if you have the pleasure of Alexis and Precious greeting you in the morning. The only access is with an American Express Platinum card. There might be a pay option. If you travel a lot, this is a nice luxury to have. CMH isn't that difficult to navigate, so you really don't need to get to the airport early enough to enjoy a lounge. They offered me complimentary access to the lounge because of Thanksgiving and wanted me to try their service. It was lunch time and they had some food at that time which was good. They kept bring in more quantity of food as it was getting low. They had a bar area which apparently i did not try. Sitting was really good. They had all kind of seating from tech savvy to comfortable sofas to high rise chairs. The staff in there was very friendly. I have been to many lounges but this was small not too crowded lounge. I did the later and was very stressed out when I never received a confirmation and all the emails and phone numbers for EL returned errors or were disconnected. Thankfully, when I arrived at CMH, the staff at this location were so kind and helpful and put me right at ease. The space is clean and quiet, and the food and drinks are great. I'm working remotely here for 6 hours and am impressed by the variety of workspaces. I wasn't sure how easy it would be to work here, and I've been so pleased with the experience. Overall 10/10, especially for the staff members who make this location work so well for working travelers. read more

After spending time at the Centurian lounge in Denver I was excited to spend my time here. I arrived a little after 5:30 pm and...I'm a little disappointed. Very limited food options and some spots were actually empty. The service was good but I don't think I'll take the long hike from the A gates next time. The location is also horrible. This lounge did not smell good. After we finally checked in, and seeing that there was absolutely no food, we left immediately.

It was an incredible find after airport security shenanigans and American Airlines closing the door early. Open centurion and platinum Amex holders. Guests are welcome but there may be a fee. The staff is incredibly nice, the drinks are strong and the food is a step up from hotel food and 3 steps up from airplane food. The food and drinks are free for card members. Coffee is also available at no charge from a coffee machine. The only downfall is the limited privacy like real centurion lounges, no bathrooms or shower. All in all will be back. It was our first time visiting an Escape Lounge, early in the morning on a long layover. The desk attendant was icy and unwelcoming. She did not brief us on the amenities or ask us if we had any questions, content to charge us and go back to her phone. The food looked unappetizing and there was no signage to indicate where one could find cold drinks (they're in an unmarked refrigerator below counter level). The coffee/espresso machines were not visible from the food service area or bar, hidden on the back side of the front desk. The overall experience was sterile and alienating. I would not choose to visit again. 2 stars only because there were ample charging ports and oversized (though unexpectedly hard) chairs. read more

I've been flying out of this airport every couple of weeks on business for a while now. The addition of this lounge is the best thing to happen to this airport, for customer experience! the food is better than anything you can buy at the available restaurants and the staff is as friendly and helpful as you could ask for.
