I flew into Syracuse for work meetings and when flying out very early in the morning, I didn't know where I was going to wait for my flight, while grabbing a quick bite and drink, so when walking through the terminal I came across this Escape Lounge. I normally scope out my options, especially when visiting new airports, but this being such a small airport, I didn't do this ahead of time, as I didn't think they would have any lounges. I got to the door at 4:28AM and saw the sign that they opened at 4:30AM. I was the only one there waiting for them to open and I was the first in when they did open - But immediately after that, there were many more checking in. Fortunately, I got first dibs on their scrambled eggs and other items for breakfast. The food selection was decent, not a lot, but decent. Service was great! The lady working check-in was also working the dining room/lounge and cleaning tables. I asked her about this and she said her co-worker called in (not sure if that meant they called they would be late or not coming in)... Sounds like a very unreliable, selfish, and typical millennial employee is her co-worker who would leave this lady to work alone. What if this lady "called in" too - then the club wouldn't open at all. Anyway, they need to get rid of her co-worker and get a more reliable person to help this lady. I watched her hustle between checking people in, then grabbing a tray to clear people's plates, etc... She was constantly moving. I felt bad for all the work she had to do, on her own. Anyway - It's a nice club. When coming through SYR in the future, I'd definitely return. read more

Wonderfully calm travel reprieve - spent a few hours here and had a pleasant time snacking and working through some emails. Unlike many other lounges, this one isn't too crowded and has a very laid back yet upscale feel to it. This was my first time flying into Syracuse, and the lounge experience in itself made me glad I did! The food options were pretty comprehensive, with meatballs and broccoli and salad as mains as well as a cheese platter and a little dessert corner. Everything was warm and relatively fresh. What a nice surprise to find an Escape Lounge at SYR--especially in a smaller but beautifully renovated airport. It was a welcome reprieve while waiting for my flight. The space is modern and inviting, and the service was friendly and attentive. The lunch buffet was open during my visit; I didn't eat, but the selection looked solid and on par with what you'd expect from an Escape Lounge. There's also a nice bar area with a few seats, which I appreciated--an upgrade compared to the BOS lounge that doesn't offer bar seating (even though that space is larger). read more

I was surprised to find an Escape lounge at SYR airport. Staff were welcoming and for such a small airport the lounge delivered. The breakfast included oatmeal, yogurt and institutionalized scrambled eggs. There also is a bar. The lounge had both tables and more comfortable chairs. It was maintained well. The lounge even had ceramic coffee cups. read more

This was a great resting spot prior to my flight. It was very clean and the staff was great. There were light bites available and a bar as well as coffee and non-alcoholic beverages. I wanted a mocktail and the bartender was super creative. She made it happen with club soda and some cherry juice. This was a positive priority pass experience. read more

Surprisingly delicious food in this lounge. Small, but decent liquor selection, but they have a rule that none of the liquor can be served neat. On the rocks only. Only 1-2 beers on tap. Very small club, food is good (when available (they don't replenish often). They seem short staffed, dirty dished aren't picked up often, food runs out often. They wait until food is gone before beginning to think about replacing or adding food. Check in takes a while. Definitely not worth the price unless you have a credit card that pays for it. If not go to a restaurant for food amd drink. read more

This may be Syracuse airport's first major lounge. With an Amex Platinum card you can gain access. Very roomy, clean and with a friendly staff. They have 1 gender neutral bathroom. Great gourmet tapas style foods. One draught beer with others in bottles/cans. Several nice wines and spirits at the bar as well. Background music while visiting. Free WiFi. Wonderful oasis. The service was great: thank you Nadia and Skai. But special Kudos to Anna, the manager. As one who has taught for years in collegiate business schools, I was VERY impressed by her management technique: ask for your employees' input, but do not command unless absolutely necessary, which was most certainly not the case during my two visits. It was clear that she and the other staff had a shared commitment, and that commitment was to guest service. The Escape Lounge is so nice it's almost worth scheduling a layover in Syracuse PS: the food was great -- light and healthy. read more

Let me join the chorus of people praising this place. I've been to hundreds of lounges and, short of the Emirates first class lounge in Dubai (which should be on everyone's bucket list) this Escape Lounge in Syracuse is amazingly my favorite. It's got a cool vibe, chill music, amazing service, and decent food. This is what you expect a lounge to be! I only hope these great reviews don't bombard this incredible find. :-) read more
