I'm not sure what has taken me so long to check out Meier's Creek at the Inner Harbor. Maybe it's because I don't pass it often? Since I was in the neighborhood, I peeked into Meier's Creek to see what was on the menu and order take out. They have a service area at the bar specifically for folks to walk up and order (they also have seats at the bar and seats at tables). The restaurant did get a lot of sun as it's a corner restaurant and there is some patio seating. I put in an order for the Huli-Huli Pizza, Pizza 'Da Bayou, and Beignets to-go. The server was quick and attentive. The food came out within 15 minutes or so and time felt like it went by quickly. I instantly took pictures of the food because I was so excited for it! If you're avoiding, allergic to, or do not enjoy marinara/tomato sauced pizza, then these were two great garlic oil based options! The Pizza 'Da Bayou was a savory option and the Huli-Huli Pizza was a tasty sweet option. The beignets were still warm when they got home, but they're definitely best eaten fresh. I'll certainly be back to check out more on the menu and maybe check out what's on draft. read more

Went for the beer and bar food. Beer did not disappoint at all. Really long bar with seating. Many tables but it's not a big place. Plus it has some outside tables. No waitress service. This is order at the bar and pick it up. The food menu is tiny. Mainly some apps, pizzas, and a few burgers. I was told to get the pizzas. I got a smashburger. It was very underwhelming. Not smashed. I'd say frozen but I could be wrong. Just not a good burger. Sorry, Meiers! The person next to me got one of the pizzas. Sorry, it was underwhelming looking as well. Another very successful light dining experience. Picked a Saturday around 5 o'clock figuring it might not be that busy yet, boy where we wrong. Place was jampacked. Decided to split a couple meals, including a pizza and some nachos. I think the nachos weren't the best of choice. Though they were loaded with cheese, pork, peppers, corn, and who knows what else, the eyes like them more than the stomach. The pizza was a hit. Got the sweet and hot and it was good. I love Meiers Creek for any nice brewery day. They have outdoor seating under umbrellas which is so nice on a sunny day in the summer and the inside is classic brewery, they have booths and a bar to sit at. They always have a good selection of drafts and other Bevs, and a good Shirley temple for kids and non alcoholic enthusiasts. Today we got fries, soft pretzel and classic pizza. The pizza was very good, fries were hot and good, and the soft pretzel was good, but not my favorite, it came with a delicious mustard but I was not a fan of the pretzel cheese. Came here for my 21st birthday to get my first drink. I got a dirty Shirley (well made). The food here was SPECTACULAR. If you want to come here I highly recommend you come here during Sunday brunch. The place itself is very cozy with background music that isn't overwhelming. You order food and drink at the bar but the bartender was very friendly and easy to talk to. What do you want in a local brewpub? Good beer, good food, and good vibes. Meier's Creek Brewing has you covered! They have a long bar and had only 2 bartenders so I assumed service would be slow. I was wrong. The servers were very attentive and juggled serving a pretty much full bar. Impressive! I got the Albuquerque Turkey with a side salad and it was flavorful and well constructed. The beer selection is impressive. I had their Fresh Fields IPA which was well balanced and tasty. Meier's Creek was a sponsor of the Syracuse Area Music Awards and after-party so the bar filled up with many musicians which made their Open Mic Night pretty high caliber. Such a fun space to go to! Service is neutral, staff if generally helpful and friendly, but they are also usually quite busy. Food is always delicious and elevated above "bar food" and great portions. They have great burgers, sandwiches, dips, and more! Great beer selection and drinks too. Met some friends from Philly for an early dinner and a few beers. The place was already half full at 4:30! A good sign that they are doing well here. My friends split a pizza, and I got the cheese curds (absolutely amazing by the way) and we had a few German style beers. A perfect way to spend an hour. This is my first time at this location and we loved it! The floor plan is open and great for groups, and there is a nice variety of food and snacks, and of course, brews. The service is sub par since you're just ordering at the bar. We sat at the bar and were dismissed a few times asking for water. It just felt a little cold. I didn't have enough time to drive out to the Cazanovia location, which I plan on doing once I get the time, so I settled for going to this location. It was AWESOME. It was a little crowded at 8PM on Friday, but our party of 5 was able to be seated. First things first, the beers at Mier's Creek are terrific. The Floating On By Pilsner drinks so easy. My friend called it the "cream soda of beers," and I think she nailed it. I also absolutely enjoyed the Velvet Fog hazy NEIPA was delicious. There's a reason why Mier's Creek is so popular, simply put, they make great beer. The food was surprisingly good too! Too often at breweries they have a cool eclectic menu, but fall short on delivering. Not here. The food was great. The pulled pork nachos had a very hefty serving of pulled pork in them. I loved them. I had been told by a friend to try their dill pickle wings. If you like pickles, you'll probably love these. They come with a nice dry rub on them and were crispy and juicy. No complaints out of me. The Buffalo Chicken pizza did not let us down like the Buffalo Bills (as advertised). It was awesome. I loved their Buffalo sauce. I'll get this again, and again, and again. Loved it. Also, not pictured, we tried the fried cheese curds. They were next level good. They had a little twist to them, they didn't taste like ones I've had before. I really, really liked these. The staff was excellent. They all looked like they were having fun while working, which added to the atmosphere. They were attentive and professional and you did not have to wait long for a drink at the bar. This is a great bar/brewery. I'll definitely be back to this location. Update on review. Another fun meet up with a friend for a couple of brews and little bite to soak up the suds. I had a hazy citrus blend and my friend a Pilsner. Ambiance fun and friendly as usual. We decided on just the pub fries, but these are no average fries! They are seasoned well, served hot with a relish dipping sauce. Other patrons ordered them next to us and you can smell the aroma of the seasonings as they are served! Service was efficient but there were extra charges on our bill but was quickly rectified. I stopped here for a quick bite to eat and a beer after biking on the Empire State Trail. It's right on route back to my apartment, super convenient. Huge bar. Nice ambience. Chill staff. TVs to watch the game as well. They have all of their fall beers out now. I got the Oktoberfest with a sugar cinnamon rim and the Jack teriyaki wings. Perfect combination. Wings were fresh, perfectly crisp, perfect amount of sauuuuce. They have a pretty decent menu with lots of options, including wraps, pizza, wings, and others. All glass, steel, and wood. Clean dining space. Both booth and tables-for-four options are available for seating. The bar is very inviting and has very cool lighting. The only thing missing was some good music. Which I don't even remember missing. [pun intended :) ] ***Staff and Service*** All the staff were very friendly and our experience was very good. You order at the bar and they bring the food to you. Our bartender was very helpful. She not only helped me navigate the beer selections (for the IPAs) but also made a cocktail for our group that was not listed on the menu. ***Food*** Excellent food and amazing portion sizes. We ordered classic pizza and pulled pork sandwich, and both of them were delicious. Was served hot and fresh. Went down really well with our drinks. :) ***Drinks*** One of my companions at the table opted for a margarita that was expertly crafted - perfectly balanced and not watered down. It had that desired kick that you expect from a good amount of tequila. I, on the other hand, started with a flight of four different IPAs. This place clearly has a love for IPAs, as there were five different options on tap that evening. When it comes to Meier's Creek, I always compare their IPAs (and all their beers) to my favorite, the Velvet Fog. In this case, the Dolphy Day IPA stood out to me as the best of the bunch. I enjoyed it so much that I ordered it for a second round. To top off the evening and put my money where my mind was, I bought a four-pack of Dolphy Day to go. We'd heard mix reviews about this Meier's Creek location and suffice it is say that our experience was all positive. We went late afternoon on a Saturday (before dinner time) for beer and ended up getting dinner, too. From the outside, I thought the inside space would be bigger. However, it's roomy with plenty of seating and a long bar. There is also outdoor seating. They have a number of different beers on tap. I was curious about the Et Tu Brute? and was able to have a taste before ordering it. We liked both! We then decided to order the blanco pizza, which was delicious and a nice size for two people. The also have some seltzer and cider selection although they do not have a full liquor bar as this is a brewery. For food they have lots of different pizza options, one pizza is good enough to share. Last time we went we got the poutine tots, which were good. There are several different bar snack options. To order food you go to the bar and then let them know where you are sitting. There is a large amount of seating inside and at the bar. They have to go beer and merch as well. In the summer there is outdoor seating, which I assume is likely dog friendly outdoor seating. Great spot right by the inner harbor. We actually stumbled across it and were very pleasantly surprised. The staff is friendly and nice. I don't drink beers but my partner does and he enjoyed the beers quite a bit. I did try a fruity one that wasn't bad by my standards which says a lot because I'm not a beer person at all. They have a very diverse selection so I'm sure there is something for everyone. Since had already made dinner plans we didn't get a lot of food but we did order wings because when there is a option of ordering wings you should always say yes! We tried the Alabama white sauce and it was the best version of the white sauce we've had. The wings were perfect cooked and coated with the sauce. This is an underrated gem in Syracuse. First of all, there are close to 20 beer options with a variety of brews. Each one I had was delicious -- and I'm a sucker for a flight so I can sample a few at once. The pizza was good. The fries were shareable and delish -- crispy and coated in a seasoned batter. The space is much larger than I expected and there is plenty of outside seating too. It's a casual environment where you order at the bar, which I like because you can go at your own pace and not be interrupted. We went for trivia on a Wednesday night and it was bumping. I can see why this is a popular spot especially in the summer. There is an outdoor lounge-ish area, outdoors regular tables, and picnic tables. All with pleasant views of the roling hills and sunset. There are even corn hole and disc golf things set up. The food was good! Room for improvement in some areas. The salad, though pricer, was excellently made. The deviled eggs had a firm consistency as though the whites were maybe stored in water. I heard great things about the beer. I am gluten free so I had their seltzer which was nice. They accomodate a table of 30 and the sever was able to send our orders in through a handheld device which made the process very smooth. I feel a little bad going into a restaurant on Memorial Day. I too work in a restaurant and was glad to have it off to enjoy the day. Most breweries and restaurants I went to just before were closed. The staff was super friendly from the moment I walked in. Chatted up the place because I know one of the brewers. I had a sampler with a delicious Italian pilsner, and the IPAs were exactly what I was craving all day; hit the spot. The Godfather pizza was nice and sweet from the Caramelized onions , great dough! Cute place that they have here, you order at the bar and then sit wherever you want and they bring the food out to you, decent selection on tap, only one hard cider which was made elsewhere but still delicious, recommend participating in the passport for habitat for humanity, you get a free beer at each of their locations. Not as good as their Cazenovia location, but still great beers and food. The location is listed as Inner Harbor, but there's really not much to see. And to see any of the water is a walk out back. If you go expecting a nice water view - I suspect you'd be disappointed. It's a nice location with a decent vibe (not nearly as cool as Caz). The big detail that is missing from this location is full table service. When we came in the staff was friendly and handed us menus and told us to come up to the bar to order (this was for both beers and food).
