We ended up having to ask him what we were waiting on and have him realize we finished. To overbook and understaff like this baffles me. It was definitely our last time at Cryptex.

This time Roman set the adventure up for us prior to entering the room. His enthusiasm made us feel like we were actually "the tourist" in this game and we needed to accomplish the task at hand. Escape Branson was a good time and even allowed us to take our small children in free of charge (8 and under). I am partial to the style of rooms that utilize the video monitor to feed clues rather than entering the room and unfortunately they enter the room here. I feel it takes away from the feeling of being "trapped" inside and needing to escape. The girl working the counter was nothing short of amazing. She was interactive with our kids distracting them and then including them during her brief to us by having them stretch out and speaking specifically to them. It was really adorable and unexpected to see her level of inclusion for the littles. She's the reason the place is getting 4 Stars. We did end up using 2 clues but we definitely didn't need them as we finished the room with more than 15 minutes remaining. They definitely had some clever clues and riddles that were new to someone like me that's done a lot of these. I felt the rooms were about average though and very good for beginners that need an introduction to escape rooms. So far Breakout Waikiki has set the standard for how Escape Rooms and no other establishment has come close to reaching the bar they've set.

Ozark Mountain Ziplines in Eureka Springs, AR, was a hit with my two young daughters…read more Because they were only 10 and 12-years-old and I had our dog in tow, the pair was only allowed to ride the first four ("express" tour) ziplines, not the entire 10-line course. Each kid ticket costed $59. Afterwards, we picked out a couple of souvenir youth t-shirts ($23 each) and a long-sleeve shirt for me ($32). The crew including the husband-wife managers were all so pleasant and engaging. This was the perfect place to introduce ziplining to my kids and now they're hooked! My dog loved hiking with me as the small group of maybe 15 people (adults and kids) made their way from line to line. Such a beautiful area. The only thing I would change was instead of a hot summer trip (even though we chose the earliest time we could at 10 AM), we would go either in early fall or late spring. TIPS + Make reservations & sign waivers ahead of time + Free parking + Clean restrooms + Gift shop available + Bring cash to tip the zip-line guides. They kept my girls safe from a 100 foot drop. My mama heart was relieved when they were done. Lol.
