This was such a unique escape room! The claims are true and this room is far different than any we've experienced thus far! Great experience! I would highly recommend! We had a chance to chat with the creator; great guy with big plans for future rooms!

I'm an escape game aficionado and have done 200+ games, and I thoroughly enjoyed and appreciated "Code Samurai" at Escape The Arcade. The game was clearly developed by escape game enthusiasts who are passionate about bringing forth their own story, art, puzzles, tech, and game design, and it's all packaged into a unique experience. The place has a cool late 80s / early 90s cyberpunk anime back alley arcade vibe that's both nostalgic for older crowds and flashy and energetic for younger crowds. The game itself is suitable for people of any age and has an entertaining in-game hint system. Beware of R.O.N.I.N.!

This is the location across from the building and the escape room name! :)

The atmosphere and set design really immersed us in the experience from start to finish. A special shoutout to Patrick, who was absolutely awesome! He was friendly, enthusiastic, and made the whole experience even better. His hints were perfectly timed without giving too much away, and his positive energy really added to the fun. We can't wait to come back and try another room. Highly recommend!

If you need an extra pep in your step before a mental workout, parking and food are all there. Booking online was seamless for us and our group ended up doing all of their rooms here in one day. Service was top notch and we met their owner Sam, who shared with us his vision for the different rooms. Our other game masters, Patrick and AJ, were so kind and told us what they enjoyed watching from our collaboration together. That is what I love about our local escape room businesses - you can really feel the love in every design and prop! The rooms were all different and this is the order that we did them in. Enter the Jungle Enter the Dark Wizard's Pursuit Enter the Twisted Trials Enter Wonderland Enter the Dark Wizard's Pursuit ended up being my personal favorite but all of them had such unique themes and puzzles that they could be stand alone experiences and I would have had a great time. My least favorite would be Enter Wonderland just because of one specific dexterity puzzle, but I believe the game has a system where they give you enough time to "productively struggle" before they clear you to bypass this and move on to the rest of the room. They offer to take your photos inside the room and they also explain puzzles in case you were confused about certain parts. Overall, service, production value, puzzle flow, and theming definitely makes this place a must-visit all the way to Riverside in the Inland Empire.

The only thing to keep in mind is that if you visit during a busy time, you might end up waiting a bit behind the group ahead of you before starting the next hole. But overall, still such a fun spot to come to with friends!

The entry to the venue are between JCPenney and Macys parking lot area. When you enter the doors, you walk down the set of stairs to enter the play area. Prices are listed and easy to follow for everything they offer. They have a worker there to assist with payment for whatever you decide. Arcade game cards are purchased at a kiosk. Mini golf prices are reasonable per person. Escape rooms are for 6th & up based on information I was provided when I last went Saturday since my kids wanted to do it and we needed to know what ages were allowed for their rooms. (Our kids are 2nd & 4th grade so we weren't able to do it) There are 27 holes for the mini golf. Each course is short but fun for small kids and themed differently. Only downsize is that if there's a huge group ahead of you, it takes a while to wait there for them to finish before you can head onto that course. So that's the only negative of each course when it's busy even though we went as slow as possible and played the same course multiple times while waiting for the group ahead of us to finish. There's only so much you can do while waiting before another group comes up behind yours. The arcade is small but they have some fun games. The kids had fun playing them. Pricing is a bit high & credits needed to play the games are kind of high as well compared to other arcade places but the games allow tickets to be won so it was worth it for us since kids had fun.
