This was my first time going to an escape room; I didn't expect to enjoy it so much! My group of 5 played "Undercooked - Kitchen Chaos" and it was the perfect difficulty level for us. Our skill level ranged from zero experience to someone whose hobby is escape rooms and has been to many dozens (even internationally!) The staff was friendly and professional. My kids did the scary one, while my husband and I got to watch them on a tv screen & laugh at them. Our kids ranges from ages 14-24 & have only done a few escape rooms in the past. But this was a little hard for them & only passed it with hints & the sweet staff giving them more time. But they had a blast and was literally on the floor throughout most of the time. Rules are you lay down to make the 'monster' go away. My youngest who was born on Halloween day & loves all scary things, loved it & looked scared the whole time. It was really funny to watch. Fyi the scary one is often in the dark. We opted for the live actor for an extra $20. More fun since they do jump scares. The live actors can touch you by grabbing your things or drag you around. But it's all fun & nothing uncomfortable. Great experience & we highly recommend the scary one. It says online that only 16 or older can do the scary one, but as long as the parents say it's ok & an adult is there..younger kids can join the fun. read more

Very creative escape rooms and lots of awesome props. The owner or manager was very nice. We did two rooms: The Treehouse and Undercooked. Treehouse one was awesome, challenging a bit but a little easier than the Uncooked. So, keep in mind we did a total of 4 escape rooms in one afternoon lol. Treehouse was our third one and Uncooked was our fourth one. So, by the fourth room I felt mentally exhausted and everyone else in my group probably felt the same. Uncooked has one of the highest difficulties at this company, a lot of out-of-the-box thinking and also simpler puzzle challenges that at a glance are easy to overlook but actually when you assess it again you realize why didn't I think of looking it from that perspective. I wish we had done Uncooked as the first escape room of the day because it's quite difficult even though they give you a little longer than an hour. I would wanna revisit it again because my group was only able to crack like 10 of the recipes out of 24 or something, but redo the room as the FIRST room of the day lol, because it's certainly tough working through the recipe puzzles when mentally exhausted after three previous escape room games. read more

Everything in this room was unexpected to say the least lol. I liked it! Did get scared a couple times, but wish there was more interaction with the live actors! My friends and I chose the "extreme" mode and it was worth it! Scare factor was about 3/5, I think because we weren't zooming through everything, but still liked the eeriness of it! Puzzles were very clever and I liked it! They were very out of box thinking, but also "omg duh" moments because we overthought almost everything lol. Fantastic!!! Beyond immersive and clever. The attention to detail is magnificent!!! Just got done playing the Last Job and can't stop thinking about it. Our Game Master Hailey was terrific with our game hints and was super welcoming and friendly. Surprises around every corner, plenty of puzzles and clues. Some concepts you'll remember but enough is new to keep you going. Difficulty is beginner to medium level, so it's family friendly and great for newbies. This was my first time doing an Escape room and I was a little skeptical. We did the Tree house which was definitely worth it, it is so beautifully set up and well thought out. There were 4 in our group and plenty for us all to do, working together and then sometimes alone. DO NOT SKIP THIS PLACE. This is one of the most creative and immersive escape rooms I have ever done (and I have done a lot). My group chose to do the treehouse since they had a Christmas overlay. My friends had done the original treehouse which I have not and we still had an amazing time. 99% new puzzles from the original and it fit the theme perfectly. The owners were some of the kindest people I have met and can we just talk about the scenery for a bit!! All in all, incredible experience and I will be back to do the rest of the rooms. I booked an escape room for 45 Lampkin Lane for myself and 5 others who have never done an escape room. It's funny because everyone, from friends to staff members, asked why any of us would attempt to do a scary escape room for our first time, along with a paid live actor. My first impression of this place was that of a good one; the restrooms were clean, as well as the rest of the building. The whole vibe of the facility is awesome, and the staff was amazing --they kept character, and they were extremely friendly and welcoming. ***SPOILER ALERT*** In 45 Lampkin Lane's story, someone has to be sacrificed, and that's the cool yet nerve-wracking part of it because your team relies on you to give them their first set of clues. David was the actor, and he did an excellent job! The owner was animated and humble; I enjoyed speaking with these two, as well as the girl with short hair and gorgeous eyebrows. Overall, I would've liked an even scarier storyline, but nonetheless, I had a great experience here. I definitely plan on coming back for the Tree House escape room! read more

We did "the Treehouse" last night and it was a blast! So many details put into the game and the story/theme was very immersive. Our group of 5 had a lot of fun - there was a lot of different puzzles to solve, so everyone was kept busy! The set design and small details make it 100%. My group had a great time playing Treehouse. Here's my review with a note - I've played 200 escape rooms at this point, and while Treehouse was a fairly standard room and my review will be somewhat harsh given that context, it was still an enjoyable game: Treehouse was a reasonable game with a great set, though it had a few annoying aspects and the puzzles felt lazy in comparison. Also be warned that the timer starts immediately at the start of your booked time slot, whether you're there and ready or not. Story: Find the treehouse and lock away the mischievous trolls. - The goal of locking up the trolls didn't really make sense outside of "the trolls are mischievous creatures". - There wasn't enough of a thematic connection between the first and second rooms. A major character from the first room became suddenly irrelevant when we transitioned to the later half of the game. Set: + The set was really pretty, especially the tree house. However, watch your head in the tree house if you're a taller person. - There was a set transition that made mechanical sounds and moved quite slowly, though for understandable reasons, which ruined some of the immersion. Puzzles: + There were two activities that involved throwing things at a target, which was fun but a bit repetitive. There was also another fun physical puzzle. + The second part of the room was multilinear, with three different puzzle paths. This was nice since the puzzle density was pretty good, but a minor issue was that the tree house wasn't big enough to support as many people as you might want for this part of the room. - There were multiple puzzles that relied on searching, which I tend to dislike. Multiple of these also involved basic counting puzzles, which are a pet peeve of mine. - A couple puzzles in the first half of the room weren't well-designed. One of the puzzles had an unfair disadvantage for shorter people, and another puzzle had a clue that mentioned a few things we had to do, but required us to do some similar additional tasks that weren't clued at all. - I had a couple issues with one of the puzzle paths. One of the puzzles had a metal button that shocked me with static, which wasn't pleasant. Another puzzle had a really finicky magnet, which was annoying. We had 5 seconds remaining as a group of 4. read more

I first came with my sisters and it was amazing so when we wanted to do another escape room, we called to make sure it was accessibility friendly (my partner and mother both have trouble walking). They told us it was "just a few steps" and it should be fine for people with mobility issues. This just isn't true, it was much harder than that physically. Wish they would've been honest about it so we could find one that actually was accessible. On top of that, they would tell us to bring only one thing with us but we would have to go back for things they said we wouldn't need (which added to the accessibility issue!) If you have any sort of mobility issue, I do not recommend. read more
