I've been here to see Dr. Verret several times over the years. I recently lost my glasses and haven't seen so well lately, lol. Mellisa, a lovely young woman was great in helping me find a new pair of glasses. I splurged and got a very comfortable pair of GUCCI glasses. I wanted a new subscription but didn't want to wait a few months for my insurance so Dr. Verret gave me a very reasonable price to recheck my eyes. Once he moved the right lens slides in front of vision was wonderful seeing crisp and clear lines again. Really looking forward to it my new GUCCI glasses being finished in a couple of weeks. The Doctor, Eric, seemed very nice, a little soft spoken and he talked really fast but he was kind. The front office personnel is another story. Melissa helped me after my exam (which cost me $59 after my insurance was taken into account). She was rude and seemed exasperated with me before I even had a chance to ask any questions. WITH INSURANCE she quoted me $190 for one pair of single vision lenses (not including any frames). I have VSP insurance and they are an in-network office. Not to mention they tried to push progressives ($355) and I just have a minor astigmatism. This is a racket. She didn't care to explain any of the "add-ons"/additional copays that made my glasses so expensive, she didn't offer to adjust or delete any of the add-ons to help alleviate the cost and make it more palatable, she just looked at me with disdain and said I don't have to buy glasses from them. I did not buy any glasses from them. I took my $59 piece of paper, with my new script and left. I will never go back. read more

Office operations were super quick and efficient, without skimping on effort, empathy, or information. I'm super perplexed by the reviews I read which disparage the office staff. I just had the best eyewear selection experience of my life. Everyone was super helpful, very transparent about pricing, helped point me to choices which maximized my insurance benefits, and gave me informed input on the products which did not cross over into the territory of attempts to influence my decisions or upsell me. Warm, welcoming, fun environment; good COVID protocols when lots of other places have abandoned them. Doc and all staff seem competent, knowledgeable, and personable. Dr. Verret is pretty amazing, I highly recommend making an appointment with him. He is thorough in explaining what is going on your eye and why he does each eye test. The professionalism of the doctor is great. His staff however tried to hustle me almost 210 bucks and claim it was a co pay! First off my appointment co pay was 10 bucks everything else was the price for glasses which was fine but they added stuff to the glasses I never asked for. To top it off they were trying to charge me an extra 20 bucks for a new machine the doctor got, I'm sorry I missed the meeting where I agreed that the doctor needed a new machine. read more

This is going to be like our 4th year coming here as a family. It's always a pleasure to come. As soon as we walk in we are greeted and welcomed in. The Dr. that helped us out was very kind and answered all our questions. He did an amazing job. The sales manager took care of us as well and gave us several options to purchase our new glasses. They add extra services and say that it's part of their exam in order to charge more. Insurances cover comprehensive eye exams with a co-pay. However, they make it hard to get that service. Said we would have to come back another time if we wanted the comprehensive exam the insurance covered. Ended up forking up their extra fees in order to be seen the day we had an appointment. Omg. I cannot tell you how awful this place is. I dropped in to pick up my $1k glasses the other day. The people ignored me for 20 mins before I had to get upset and say, "what I need will only take 30 seconds" meanwhile they're showing every single demo pair to two people. They can do that on their own for 30 seconds while you multitask. I will never return. Nor will my wife or child who all wear corrective lenses. I've honestly dropped $3k in this place in the last two years. But obviously only the sale matters. Not the pick up or aftercare. $$$ is all they want. read more

Dr. Verret was not only very informative and friendly, the prescription glasses I received was finally comfortable! The previous prescription I had was too strong and I knew it because it gave me headaches and I couldn't wait to take them off. When I got my new prescription glasses, I actually didn't want to take them off. They allowed me to see more crisp, never gave me headaches, had the blue light, antiglare and changed shades when I went out into the sunlight. My whole family goes there now! read more

I spoke to a girl over the phone about my insurance , i had her repeat and recheck my coverage and she reassured me that she found me and my copay was 0$ but i was going to pay 100% out of pocket for Everything and i told her that's wrong but okay. So i went to the office and showed her where she was wrong then some other girl with black curly hair and red outlined eyebrows ( DONT EVER TRUST A GIRL WITH BAD EYEBROWS) told me that i never had coverage , which once again they're wrong . I called my insurance and they assured me this office doesn't know anything about verifying private insurance . Wow! This was the best eye exam I ever had! The doctor was very knowledgeable and nice. He explained everything very well and his manner was pleasant. Usually going to the eye doctor is stressful for me but, Dr. Verret made it fun because he was relaxed and engaging. Afterward I found the cutest pair of glasses. Today among the many hood choices available we drove yo to the clinic after a brief conversation on the telephone wether our insurance is acceptable to them and is there any copayment etc and we wish to have lenses for reading. After entering the office we presented out papers and insurance information and we could hardly hear what she was saying behind the mask! We asked her could you please talk a bit louder and in the same tone she wants to know who referred us to the place , we told her that our insurance gave a list of names and we chose you. She looks at the paperwork we submitted and said you need to have an eye examination which we agreed as she said you qualify for one but you have to pay$20! What! Why? Where did the insurance go? That's what the insurance basically covers.. had we paid that then she would have said you now need to pay for the lens too! She refused to speak with our insurance after we handed her the phone. We walked out of that place! It's only after I read the reviews I came to know how narrowly we escaped from being forced! read more

Very disappointed with the service. I have been a client for years, even before Dr. Verret took over and I never had an issue. Once Dr.Verret took over there always seems to be a problem. Most recently I ordered glasses for my daughter since the first week of August...I get a call weeks later that the frames were lost and I have to pay for new ones.
