Once you get inside, you actually see where and how everything is produced (something you won't get at the "fancier" tasting rooms). The staff is so knowledgeable and pleasant, and they go out of their way to make your tasting experience a nice and memorable one. Ryan Roark is the type of winemaker who really likes to let his grapes do the talking and his wines are AMAZING! We had an appetizer, wine, entrees, and dessert, and all were worth bragging about! Our server, Al, took very good care of us. There were several groups (bridal parties/ bachelorette parties) celebrating their special events and taking photos. After our meal we wandered through the property and encountered a petting zoo with mini donkeys, goats , peacocks, and emus! What a treat! The entire property is pristine and scenic. Vega has it all!
