This is a top notch winery all the way. We tried all three available tastings when we stopped by: the estate tasting, Fatalist tasting, & bubbles tasting. Each one offered something different & unique & we found wines to like in each tier. The standout, for me, was the Fatalist chatdonnay. It's a Montrachet-style chard, which is what I look for and this one did not disappoint. This winery was a recent discovery but we'll be back! read more

Brick Barn is one of the best spots in the valley and they're open later than most wineries, which is a huge plus. There are two patios with tons of seating and gorgeous views, as well as plenty of cozy indoor seating for chilly nights. The vibe is rustic but regal, and the main room has lots of great shopping to browse while you sip. The wine is delicious. I especially love the Grenache Rosé, Blanc de Blanc, and Pinot. They offer several different flights, but my favorite is the bubbly flight with four pours to try. Feeling hungry? Their cheese platters are tasty and pair perfectly with the wines. Everyone who works here is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. We especially love visiting when there's live music. They also host tons of fun events and classes, including comedy nights, so it's definitely worth joining the club or at least hopping on their mailing list. Beautiful winery. We came in on a Saturday evening and the place was lively. Luckily, they were able to fit the three of us in! I really liked that we didn't have to do a full tasting. We were able to just order a glass or cocktail from their menu. I had the sangria and really enjoyed the fruity notes. They also had a band playing in the patio space and it looked so fun! People were up dancing and enjoying the music. It can be kind of loud though, so keep that in mind. I think they allow kids, since I saw a handful of them running around near the band. This estate was just down the street from our hotel. I wish we would've visited at the beginning of our stay so we could come back again. I would highly recommend! read more

Sad to say that the last 3 visits here as a wine member have been lackluster. The customer service provided to locals is not how I have been treated. Although I don't live in the area, when I visit I do expect to feel welcomed. To be honest, anyone walking through the door should feel that way. For that reason I'm pulling out of my membership. This past visit confirmed that the staff that signed me up and treated me with utmost care did not carry through. Love the wine and wish I could justify the spend for so-so service. Also menu should be updated for more offerings, if there no pop up food is very limited. Hours on Yelp are not the tasting hours listed on IG. I've asked this previous time to have those corrected because I've been done dirty twice by Yelp. Thanks for the memories, was nice while it lasted. Again love the wine and the space is gorgeous, but I will be taking my membership elsewhere. read more

This place was seriously so cute!! I don't know how I had never been before but now I want to go back asap! Parking out front which was easy. Immediately we were greeted after walking in and they have lots of seating! They also had live music which was EVERYTHING. ALSO MY FAV part was they have champagne (sparkling wine) tasting!! This is our favorite winery whenever we do our Buellton/Solvang/Santa Barbara getaway. They have a great wine selection. We are more red wine lovers and our favorite is their cab franc and Cabernet Sauvignon. They do have very luscious champagnes too. Service is excellent and we even get a cheese plate to go with our wine. The place itself is a very cozy hangout, comfortable seating, great music, and even dog friendly too. I joined a couple of years ago when I was on a bus wine tour from Long Beach that went to the area. The grounds are beautiful and the wines are very good. An Amazing Vibe is what you'll feel from the moment you start to walk up to this Lovely destination with gorgeous views of the hillside landscape. They have live music that gets the people up on their feet dancing and having a great time. Great service too with servers consistently checking in on everyone in attendance! Wines available by the glass and bottle. We discovered Brick Barn at the LA Winefest a couple years ago and purchased a few of their wines. So when we were in the area last week, we had to stop in for a visit. It's a beautiful winery, with fantastic views of the vineyards and mountains, comfortable tasting room, two outdoor patio areas, and excellent service. Laura Y. poured for us and was as educational, as she was delightful. My wife and I shared both tastings, and even received a few additional pours from other open bottles. IMO, the wines are very nice, reasonably priced, and their membership perks are pretty amazing, so we took advantage and joined. They also offer some charcuterie and snacks, but no restaurant / food. We'll be back in November for our wine pick up, so I'll try and post a follow up review to check on consistency. In the meantime, I highly recommend you give them a try. read more

Came here because we were staying at The Landsby and we found out that they have an agreement with Brick Barn Wine Estate to offer complimentary tastings to The Landsby guests. First off, this space is BEAUTIFUL. We absolutely loved sitting outside in view of the vineyards and with soft acoustic live music playing. We came in the middle of the day and so it was very chill and we were quickly greeted by staff. The wine tastings were one of the smallest I'd ever experienced -- about a sit per each glass we tried. I have to imagine that if you're paying for a tasting, you get a little more, and this was just the servings for the complimentary tasting. We were happy with it of course, and enjoyed all the wine we tried. We also bought some truffle chips to enjoy while we drank. I would definitely come back here next time I'm in Solvang! read more

Sam and I have been coming to this winery for years, and it's always been amazing. I LOVE their wine, in my opinion, it is some of the best Wine in the area. Get her while you can, we understand she is moving away from this part of the country. The facility itself, more specifically the private room we had was simply beautiful and very comfortable. Then came inside to a fun lively vibe - folks were dancing and singing along to a great band - Different Strings. Talked to band member Johnny Reno afterward. Who was a super cool guy, Apparently, they started at 1:30, and finished up shortly after 5:30 pm. Winery is open til 7. We got two tastings - one free with Yelp check in! And the other free, because we purchased a bottle. Our server, Laura, was so friendly and knowledgeable. Loved the sparkling Blanc de Blanck, the sauv Blanc, vermentino, and loved the cab franc. We went wine tasting with our friends who are parents to a 6 month old. Brick Barn staff greeted us warmly, offered us anywhere we'd like to sit. At first we sat outside (It had just stopped raining). Then It started to drizzle. They led us to a warm spot inside and then we ordered food from the folks outside. It was delicious! We decided to do the full experience and our server was knowledgeable about every wine. they checked on us again when the music got loud and led us to a private room with a Fire place.
