Beautiful haircuts at inexpensive prices. Espie's work is fantastic, & she is a great person-- both professional and personable. The salon itself is a cool, funky little place with lovely retro pictures of pinups on the wall.

First off, I just want to bless Tiffany's soul because she completely transformed my hair into pure gorgeousness. Originally, I was drawn to Espie's because they have $15 haircuts for women. I went in with really long, super damaged, ugly hair. I asked for a toned down blonde balayage + a haircut and that's exactly what I got. To top it off, everyone was extremely kind and welcoming. The whole process took 5 hours but that might've been because I had so much hair. I've since recommended all of my family and friends!

I found my go to hairstylist now! And right down the street from where I live. Tiffany is so sweet and is and easy to talk to. Such an expert in her craft she definitely hooked me up with exactly what I was looking for. I LOVE my hair and can't wait to go back next month

I had the best experience of getting a haircut for the first time in over four years. Espie did an AMAZING job. I have been growing my hair for over four years to donate and she was able to cut the full length in several pieces so that I could donate as much as possible. Espie took her time and made sure that I had the perfect fade and the right length. I was nervous at first, but she and everyone at her shop were super supportive. This is a great place to come and "Get your hair did". =) I will definitely be back for touch ups and upkeep. Thanks Espie. The video link of The Cut: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KcOtgZN1yd4

This was my first time at Espies Hair Studio and let me tell you I will definitely be coming back. My hair stylist Tiffany did an amazing job on my hair!! I loved the way she walked me through the transition my hair will go through since I used to box dye my hair . She is constantly asking if I'm liking the results and I truly appreciated that! Thank you Tiffany and I will be climb back soon!

My mom has been going to Tiffany for a while now and she gave me her appointment so I can get my hair done. Tiffany was very accommodating and did a wonderful job! She spent 6 hours on my hair and made my hair literally look exactly like the picture I showed her! I am so impressed! I will definitely be back.

Where do I begin? When you walk in the salon, the ladies will greet you with a smile and you feel good vibes coming from them. My family gets our haircuts from both Espie and Tiffany. They are both very attentive and experience. This visit though is for Tiffany. OmG!!!! She listens to what you want and need. I love the fact that she doesn't just care for the money but cares about her clients as well. I went to some salon and wanted a quote on balayage and wanted to be really light, the other salon had quoted me more than what Espie was charging. Tiffany explained why I shouldn't go lighter due to hair damages and will not look good. She cared about what was best for me. Now, I love my hair more than ever! Thanks Tiffany!

Too many colors that don't blend well with one another.

I loved talking to the hair dresser, she was super nice and easy to talk to but I simply didn't leave too satisfied. I asked for a subtle bayalage on my medium brown hair and it was far from that. At first, my roots came out to a weird orange brown with a lot of streaks in some weird brassy blond that matched the rest of the bayalage streaks in my hair. I asked her to make the roots a darker brown that was closer to my natural brown hair color which she graciously did but I still noticed a reddish tint to that brown color. She also toned my hair again since the streaks were not subtle and too blond for my liking but I could tell it didn't do much. My hair is also naturally wavy so I asked for long layers and i feel like there are some weird cuts that stop in the middle of my head, obviously not good on wavy/ curly hair because it won't help with the puffiness. I also don't remember seeing any beauty school certificates anywhere in the studio. I hope it was just me that didn't leave too happy but i myself wouldn't necessarily recommend. Again, nothing bad again on the hairdresser herself, just leaving the review based on my personal experience.

What's crazy that before I went to the hair salon I was very very scared because I have had some bad experience at different salons. I did read the comments that were left they were good somewhere bad but I took that chance and I was happy with it . So this isThe reason why I'm giving them five stars is because they took the time to listen to what I wanted to do to my hair gave me advice instead of doing it to make sure that I get the right hair color ,very friendly very professional good environment I did read a couple of the reviews of them saying they didn't know how to cut hair but I didn't have a bad experience with the cut let alone I didn't have a bad experience with the hair dye. So thank you ladies for the awesome hair I hope you ladies enjoy the rest of your day. Thank u Tiffany for my awesome hair yaaaaaa

    He actually stayed calm.

Whoa. I thankfully drank the 16 oz of olive oil in 15 minutes. Day 1 was HARD. I definitely felt sick as my body was working the oil through and doing its thing. Day 2-5 were challenging but I stuck to the raw fruits and veggie diet + spring water. Day 6-7 were my easiest days! I'm on my last day as I type this review. I'm proud of myself for making it through. It was definitely a challenge for me but this was a good reset for my system. My skin is glowing, bloat gone, digestive system is MOVING, I feel lighter. I remained active (yoga, walk, weight lighting) during this cleanse so by 3pm I felt ready for a nap daily due to the low calorie intake but nonetheless I didn't feel dizzy. Hot yoga felt amazing on this cleanse! If you're looking for a cleanse, check this out.

Renee, the owner, was very helpful and gave me a warm welcome when I arrived. She told me she didn't carry African net sponges as they contain plastic and are not good to use for your body, so she suggested the agave wash cloth instead. I took my time to look around the shop too and there were so many goods that I got a bit overwhelmed so I'll have to come back to peruse those more sometime :) Renee was very friendly, kind, helpful, and awesome. Her energy is warm but strong like a fire. She took the time to talk to me about her shop that she's had for over 30 years now, asked me for my name, and hoped that she'd see me again -- which she definitely will be! Lots of books, tote bags, bracelets, incense, hair products, and much more. She told me she tries to host events for the community too, apparently I just missed a sound bath that they hosted this past weekend. I'd definitely recommend stopping by and I will most certainly be back again!!

The main reason why I'm able to try different things and keep most of them is because of their amazing return policy. I was able to return a couple of items that were not from my skin type and if you do it within the time allowed, they really don't ask any questions. Great staff and very friendly.

It felt like most of the employees were more interested in standing around talking to each other than helping customers. I honestly felt like only one employee was actually working and ringing up customers while everyone else was standing around doing who knows what. It also took an unusually long time for someone to bring over a key so I could look at a cologne I was interested in purchasing. With so many employees on the sales floor, you're telling me not one person could step in and grab a key for the associate helping me? To make matters worse, there was a line of customers waiting to check out, yet only one cashier was working the register the same employee who was also waiting for someone to bring her the key. No one else seemed willing to step in and help, which made the wait even more frustrating. This team definitely needs better training and much stronger customer service skills. I was extremely disappointed with my experience and ended up leaving without buying anything, even though I had planned to purchase several items. To make matters worse, the store didn't even have any cologne testers available, making it impossible to try the fragrances before buying. I've been a loyal Ulta customer for years and spend a significant amount of money there, but this is by far the worst Ulta location I've ever visited. I would not recommend this store to anyone. Save yourself the time and visit another location where customers are treated with respect and where employees understand the importance of providing quality customer service.

The reason why - and I have to point this out because the store is named Rooted - is most of the neon pothos did not look too healthy aside from one plant in a 6" pot (larger than what I was looking for). In fact, many of the plants were rather middling, with soil looking dry when most inventory are tropical houseplants. Was it the heat at the time I visited or negligence? I'm not sure, but even with seemingly fair prices as plant shops go (4" philodendron Brazil was $12), it's harder to buy a plant that looks sickly. In addition to plants, Rooted also carries housewares and refills for shampoo, body wash, etc. I can't speak to the prices because I have a similar store within walking distance that I typically bring my dispensers to.

I wasn't sure if she was new or if there was some hesitation in trusting the information I provided. She said she was "just trying to make sure it was right," but it felt unnecessary and a bit uncomfortable. It might make more sense for staff to weigh items themselves to avoid situations like this.
