Esposito's Pizza & Mexican Food is one of those hidden gems you wouldn't expect to find in a quiet shopping center. The mall itself has been filling out with more restaurants lately but this spot has always been my go-to when I'm craving hearty Mexican food. I first stumbled on it years ago while getting my uniform tailoring done next door and it's been a favorite ever since. The food is consistently delicious and filling. They start you off with complimentary chips and salsa, which is always a nice touch while waiting for your meal. My usual order comes with a great mix of tacos, rice, and refried beans, and the portions are generous enough that you definitely won't leave hungry.....though you might leave in a food coma! The interior isn't exactly glamorous, but once the food arrives, you'll probably forget all about how it looks inside. I also appreciate that they now accept credit cards though they still offer a discount if you pay with cash. I can't really hate too much on this place, the pizza part would throw you off, but I did have their nachos and they hit the spot. I usually would dabble on Chile Rellenos for any first time meal at a Mexican joint, but I need nachos and this place delivered, especially with the portion. I have heard this place is spotty with prep and taste consistency, I've had them twice for nachos, the other for carnitas for pick up and they had everything backed nicely and in a party tray. Not a lot of seating and they charge extra for credit, but that's how they get more bang for your buck. Food is decent / Customer service is poor Owners argued with me about mistakes they made on my order, and then blamed me for having to "throw money away." We have ordered from this establishment many times, and have experienced mistakes on our order a few times. In the past, we haven't reached out for replacement because their prices were a little more affordable and we live close to 15 minutes away. As of today, we paid $17 for a burrito and expect to receive it the way it was ordered. I always order my burrito without beans and my husband orders his burrito without onions. Sometimes both will have no onions or beans and sometimes we will receive two burritos with beans or two burritos with onions. When we got home, I realized my burrito again has beans. I called to inform them of the mistake, over the phone I was informed to bring the burrito with beans back and they'll make me another. Drove back 15minutes to the restaurant. A woman from the back came up to the counter and said "he didn't order no beans, see I didn't write it down" while showing me the receipt. I explained to her that as I was sitting next to my husband during the order I heard him say no beans and just because she didn't write it down doesn't mean it wasn't ordered that way. The woman walked away, and a male then came up to the counter and told me "he didn't order no beans, it would've been on here" showing me the receipt again. I explained to him again that I was with my husband at the time of order and witnessed him request no beans. He proceeded to grab the burrito I brought back, opened and threw it away stating "now we have to throw money away." As if that was my fault. I picked up the new burrito and drove the 15 minutes back home. While providing our order over the phone, we have noticed they are rushing to get the order fast, without asking questions and hang up very quickly. If an order is not clear it is the establishment's responsibility to clarify any questions or repeat the order back to ensure they have it correct. The incident could have been handled more professionally, and I think other customers should be aware that if they have issues with their order they may run into animosity when attempting to correct it. That being said, we will no longer be frequenting this establishment and instead bring our business to companies that prioritize accuracy and customer service. 2 stars because the food is atleast decent, but you take the risk of dealing with something that may/may not be what you ordered. read more

This spot has been in this strip mall for a while. A restaurant doesn't have to have all of the exterior ritz and glitz. When really good food is served, the exterior window dressing takes a back seat! I made my first visit. Coworkers were telling me how good the food is. The restaurant is small with a small seating area. It's clean and has a good flow pattern. The owners were friendly and down to earth. It's definitely a mom and pop spot here. I ordered the chicken enchiladas with green sauce and a pineapple Jarrito. My dish was pretty tasty. The chicken was tender and seasoned just right. The beans and rice were good, too. I will definitely eat here again. As other reviewers mentioned, this restaurant serves some of the best Mexican cuisine in the area. You can dine in or order takeout. A limited Italian selection is available as well. Pizza, calzones, and Strombolis are made to order. Cash/ credit and debit cards are accepted here. This business is a pizza shop, that also sells Mexican food. The eat-in area is very small and very dumpy-looking. They can't give you any receipts after you pay for your meal because they use a cash register from the 1980's. Nothing has been renovated from the pizza shop it once was. The food isn't good but it's not bad either. It looks better then it tastes I had high hopes from the menu and pictures. There is no seasoning at all. I normally expect meat to be seasoned and have onions and cilantro or something to add flavor. I ordered the chicken enchiladas, asada gordita and chicken gordita. The enchiladas came with rice which was plain and the black beans tasted like they came right out of the can, the gordita where just plain sandwiches no sauce no taste. The only reason I'd go back is to try the tacos maybe those actually have a taste. I listened to other people's reviews and decided to try this place. It was awful. We spent $50 on a lunch with zero flavor. Everything was off. The horchata was grainy. Really great and authentic Mexican food in an area filled with diners and pizza places. They freshly fry the tortilla chips when you order them. The green salsa is sour and salty and a little spicy. The red salsa is thick and fairly spicy. I got carne enchilada which is a spicy marinated pork chop. It wasn't spicy at all but had a really great flavor from the different spices. Nothing there is too salty, which is nice. The guacamole tastes like it has no salt and is creamy from the avocado and fresh from the onion. The beans are really addicting. I can taste the sour cream in them. They are thick and flavorful. I'm really excited to try the tamales and chorizo next. My friend says the chorizo is really good here.
