The real feel is over 100°F (38°C), so when I ordered an horchata and was asked if I wanted a small or a large... you know I got a large. Oh man! It was a quart (~1L) to-go soup container filled to the top with horchata, and I am not embarrassed to say my dehydrated American heart was thrilled. I got sopes with chicken tinga. They make the masa (corn) base in house, and it shows. Beans, chicken, pico de gallo, lettuce, queso fresco, and sour cream sat atop the corn base, and it was delicious. Green and red sauce accompanied the sopes. (I preferred the red.) The portion was generous; despite eating a late lunch, I brought ~half of one sope home. It was simple, good quality food. The interior was clean and colorful, and the lady who took my order was lovely. I believe it's a BYOB. I ordered a cheese steak and I ordered a chicken burrito. Let's talk about thats cheese steak 1st. 1st it was only 9$ who doesn't like a good deal it was very flavorful the meat was chopped up and seasoned to perfection. It give the cheese steak a 9 out of 10 if put most of the spots in this area to same it pack so much flavor. The chicken burrito was also good. I give the burrito 8.5 out of 10 . I will differently be back for more items on the menu. The customer service was top tier the person that waited on my was very nice and friendly . The look of the restaurant the way it was set up gives you the traditional Mexican vibe im going to dine in the next time I visit . This place used to be our go-to but haven't been since covid. They are offering delivery again but through Slice. I recommend picking up to save on the $7 delivery charge. I had the chicken burrito and chips & pico for the appetizer. The chips were crispy and fresh. It came with a ton of fresh pico de gallo. Tomatoes, onions, fresh cilantro and cojito cheese. The chicken burrito was huge and packed with rice, beans, lettuce, and so much more. My disappointment is that they used ground chicken. I had assumed it would be grilled chicken. Great food great service, been a spot for me and the buddies to come every other Friday for about a year now. Let's get down to food, for the price it's phenomenal everything is wonderfully flavored and the salsa verde is the best to slather over everything. Sits as my favorite quick sit down spot in the area. When the boys say let's get something to eat we always look here first. When it comes to the interior it's well decorated, clean and obviously always has great music going. They have been a local favorite of mine for a hand full of years now, and when I say, I've never been disappointed! They provide quality service. I like the small but decorative atmosphere, makes you feel homey. The food, which is the most important, has always been up to pare. They serve authentic Mexican dishes and has expanded over time to a larger selection. I have always gotten a well put together meal and they have no problems with accommodations for picky individuals (like myself) ahaha. I hope they stay around because there aren't any other I know serving it up the way they do. Some other spots near by have been okay but this place gives you what you expect, real Mexican dishes. Not sure how it's taken me this long to review Guilli's! This is my go-to for Mexican food. The food is consistent, delicious and reasonably priced. My fiancé and I never had a bad meal here. Take out, DoorDash, eat-in, it's all stellar. The family that owns this place are always very kind. They know their regulars and offer good service. My fiancé and I always start off with their nachos which are a good serving of fresh tortilla chips with all the toppings. They offer large bottles full of fresh red and green salsa to add to the nachos. My fiancé thinks the red is the best salsa he's ever had while my favorite is the green. It's the best green salsa I've had anywhere! My fiancé typically orders a chorizo chimichanga but he's also had burritos and quesadillas. They're all delicious! I've had quesadillas, chimichangas and burritos. However, my favorite Mexican meal I've had anywhere ever are their cheese enchiladas with mole sauce. They are phenomenal. They also offer huge- I mean HUGE- fruit smoothies. I love the pineapple while my fiancé loves the mango. They offer desserts like churros and tres leches cake. I am giving it this review because when I first came here it was great and there was only one man working but the service was good and the food was great. So, I brought friends and this second time around I was not impressed at all. They had multiple people working. I kept having to ask for things that we ordered or came with our meal such as my drink (horchata) which was great the first time but a bit watery this time around or the bread that came with the pasta my friend ordered and to top it off we were the only ones in the restaurant. The salad that came with her meal came with just a tiny bit of salad dressing. I was slightly disappointed in the service and quality of food especially after initially having a decent experience. I've checked out numerous local places and am always left unimpressed. That has changed w/ Guilli's. Decided to stop in on a Friday Night on a whim. they have a diverse menu, including pizza. Ordered Sopes w/ ground beef, my gf ordered the chicken enchiladas (comes with rice and beans) . As we waited the owners who are husband and wife, introduced themselves, and explained that everything is fresh and made in house from the tortillas to the chorizo sausage. They have been there 5 years and were very happy that we checked it out. Recommended that we try the shrimp tacos and the chimichangas on future visits. The Sopes were delicious with very fresh ingredients and my gf stated her enchiladas were the best she ever had. This will def become one of our go to places. read more

I really do like the food here however the price increases (that are not advertised on their website or on their menu) has forced me to drop this off of my list of places to order food. 2 words: Hidden Gem! First time here, we looked at their menu trying to find a good pizza spot about a month ago. We weren't sure about it being pizza and mexican together. Although I do love both. Went in today for lunch after reading lots of positive reviews. I got the Al Pastor (spicy pork) sandwich. There were refried black beans, avocado slices, pico de Gallo, jalapeños, and grilled pineapple on it. It was Excellent! Lady friend got the doors with chicken, they were also delicious. The homemade tortillas were light and airy. Served us salsa roja and Verde on the side, great additions for depth of flavor. Cannot wait to come back and try the pizza! Great job. I was really impressed with the quality and flavor of the Mexican food at Guilli's. I recently went for dinner with my wife, and we could tell their Mexican food is authentic, and not the Americanized version. We sampled a chicken quesadilla, tacos, and tamale. Everything was hot, and delicious. The atmosphere isn't the greatest, and it took roughly 20 min to get served. It was worth the wait. I was craving Mexican food today so I came to this place located in a pretty desolate strip mall. Overall the food was decent. For apps: chips and guac. The chips were fresh and crispy. I recommend ordering this app. For entree: wings, fish tacos, traditional chicken and steak tacos. Wings were a bit dry and not so juicy as you would expect. Fish taco was in the deep fryer too long, it came out a bit dry and lost its taste. However, the chicken and steak tacos were good. Your better off ordering the chicken and steak tacos. Service: 1 person working in the front running the cash register and waiting. She was nice and checks up on you routinely to ensure everything is good. Discovered this place via yelp in search of some decent Mexican food in the area, which up until this point has been a struggle. This place doesn't look like much from the outside and can easily be missed being tucked in the back corner of what appears to be a failing shopping center, but don't let this fool you -- this place is gold. Guilli's has the best and most authentic Mexican food I have had on the east coast. Their guacamole and horchata are some of the best I have ever had. Their chimichanga IS the best I have ever had. The churros were excellent too. I highly recommend this place! Only reason I am not giving 5 stars is because of the wait. We went on a Saturday night around 7p. No one else was there when we got there. We ordered around 7:15, but did not get our food until after 8:30 after we had asked about it. Apparently they had gotten a bunch of take out orders since we had gotten there and gotten backed up, which I understand, but the individuals dining in the restaurant should take precedence over the take out orders. read more
