    Veggie quiche
    Yvette P.

I came here a few days ago with my 2 year-old son for some coffee and food. My son ordered a brownie with chocolate milk, and we shared a vegetable quiche, and I ordered a decaf iced americano with oat milk (I'm pregnant and can't have caffeine.) I was surprised because for being decaf I still tasted quite a strong coffee flavor. I very much enjoyed it and will be back! I even ordered a pound of decaf whole beans to go because it was so good. They brew Colectivo Coffee beans at this cafe. My son really enjoyed the brownie and the chocolate milk. He also really liked the veggie quiche as did I. It was very fresh, hot, and a big serving, enough to share. We will be back! Also, we sat on the couches and it was a very comfy, relaxing environment.

    Creamy delicious chai tea latte!

I happened to be passing though Mukwonago and stopped at this coffee shop since I was interested in a chai tea latte. I decided to stay and drink it from a mug and then I also bought a pumpkin muffin from the selections. This chai tea latte was very creamy and tasty! not to sweet, just perfect! The muffin was moist and delicious as well. great service as well so I plan on stopping again.

Cute little coffee shop in small downtown of Mukwonago. Serve decent coffee, have fresh, made to order sandwiches and small ice cream case as well. Small porch area to drink coffee, but really just meant for 1 or 2 people. They also sell small amounts of crafts & give out free coffee grounds for your garden. Coffee is just so-so, otherwise I would give 5 stars for quaintness, great place to waste away the day.

On most Fridays, during lunch there is a musician playing guitar, and taking requests. It's a relaxing and joyful atmosphere. They offer lots of different lattes, teas, and baked goods. They also make soups and sandwiches. On this day I ordered my usual London Fog (little vanilla, little lavender, and extra foam). I wasn't going to get anything to eat, but they had some freshly baked cinnamon rolls on the counter. The smell was irresistible, so I also got one of those. Both the latte and the roll were excellent. The cinnamon roll was slathered with cream cheese frosting. Yummy, but way to much for me. It's a nice place, with friendly people, and good food offerings.

Food: Normally, I would get a London Fog Latte and a scone. They have both items, but because of their focus on healthy, organic, and local ingredients, I had to adjust my order and expectations. The London Fog Latte was made with oat milk and honey as the sweetener. The scones (and the rest of the bakery) are gluten-free. Both of these were different from what I would normally have, but they were very good. The London Fog was really well made. For oat milk, it had some very nice froth. The flavor and the temperature were good. The Pecan Maple Scone was also good. Like many gluten-free baked goods, it was more dense. They warmed it for me, and it was a delicious treat and a nice companion to the latte. Service: We received excellent service from the person helping us. We were the first ones there when they opened at 9:00. She was very helpful in explaining the café offerings and was clearly passionate about the mission. The London Fog is not on the regular menu, but they knew what it was and were happy to make it. They ensured we got everything we asked for: lattes in mugs, bakery items warmed, and food brought out to the table. Relaxed, helpful, and friendly service. Thanks, Elizabeth. Atmosphere: The place is bright and cheerful. The bee theme is present throughout the entire café, from the wall coverings to the small plates for beverages. Lots of nice light comes in through the front windows. There is plenty of seating for different-sized groups, with a choice of metal or upholstered chairs, or a couch for different levels of comfort and conversation. The entire visit had a nice vibe. I'm not quite ready to give up my flour and sugar, but I would have no trouble stopping in again.

Our sandwiches were accompanied by savory gherkins, which were delicious. You can enter via the front or back entrance. The cafe features an array of seating options like fun yellow comfy furniture and a children's table as well.

Inside is large, with plenty of tables and seating for different size groups. There are design and decoration elements that are religious in nature, but I don't find them overpowering. The place was mostly empty when I arrived. There were a few cars using the drive thru. Got a nice greeting from the cashier. Placed my order for a London Fog Tea Latte (little lavender, little vanilla, extra foam), and got it in a mug. I would have ordered a scone, but all they had in the case were muffins. Since I couldn't get a scone, I found the most decadent muffin, which was a Caramel Apple Pecan. It took a few minutes to make the London Fog (which is a good sign that they are giving it a good steep). They also left the bag in the mug, which I prefer. The beverage was excellent, the right temperature, good flavor, and the texture was right. The muffin was also very good. It was a very good experience and would make me come back again. Maybe next time they'll offer a scone or two.

She helped me regarding my reusable coffee mug a few days ago. I noticed that they were still using a disposable cup to make my coffee, which they then throw away. So I asked about it, and she told me that they needed it for the pour lines that are on the cup. I expressed regret about this because my main purpose of purchasing reusable cups (this was a venti-sized Starbucks cup) is to save on plastics that will end up in landfills. She was very kind and attentive re: my concern, and made a suggestion that worked really well! She gave me a clean plastic disposable Starbucks cup, which had pour lines on it, and told me that I could take it home and draw matching pour lines on my reusable cup in permanent marker for future use. I know that other Starbucks stores have reusable cups with pour lines that they use but this store does not have those yet. Until then, this is a great solution that makes me very happy! I do not care that I now have black lines on my cup. It's still a very pretty, decorative cup, and it serves the purpose that I purchased it for, thanks to this nice young lady. She is always very cheerful and kind and patient and I really do appreciate her attitude and her quick thinking and friendly service. I will pass this on to Starbucks as well, but I wanted to get this out there on Yelp for any customers who run into the same issue at any of the locations. Of course, they make great coffee beverages! Btw... all of the Starbucks employees at both Mukwonago locations are phenomenal, friendly, and upbeat.
