I love everything about this location and coffee shop. They have a nice outdoor space to relax and drink a delicious cup of coffee (or plenty of non coffee drinks). It's a good space for kids. They are always quick with service as well. My favorite drink is the Ugg boot. Their seasonal cold brews are also always great! My must have is the sausage breakfast sandwich. We had lunch here on Friday 8/11/2017 at about 1:15 PM, our first visit. We were pleasantly surprised about how cozy this spot is; an elevated storefront with a large plate glass window over looking a park across the street in a village-like neighborhood. The dining area has an eclectic array of tables and chairs, but perfectly comfortable and homey. Mama D's comfy space is part coffee shop, part panini sandwich shop with some baked goods; all top quality, coupled with some very pleasant, friendly (smiling) and efficient (young) counter ladies. Our sandwiches were SO very good. No kidding. I had the 'Turkey Pesto' panini that was excellent: Hot and crispy on the outside, warm and gooey on the inside. Cheryl also had a panini; a simpler version of mine, and she thought it was excellent. There were three (3) choices of soup today. I chose the cold Gazpacho soup and have to say it was one of the best Gazpacho's I've had; obviously house made with care and pride. Coffee orders are served by the counter ladies; no self service. For regular coffee, one may chose a dark roast or a lighter roast. To describe this place, I have to unfortunately use a much over-used term but one that absolutely describes this place for me: A hidden gem. read more

We immediately loved this place once we walked in. Felt like home. The main lobby looks like the family room. Even happier to see they have quite a few choices of smoothies to pick. As we just have a relay run outside at a 90F day, this could be heaven. The cashier highly recommended the dirty monkey smoothie which has peanut butter and dark chocolate. Turkey pestò panini sounds good with an avocado layer. After made the order we found another quieter room around the corner, a couple of sofa and a big booth table to fit all of us. So comfy. Panini was delicious with half melting cheese. Smoothie was excellent. A relaxing place for our break during a hot day was the best. We were staying outside enjoying the Live performance. Decent friendly enough service. Good coffee and various breakfast items like a sausage egg bake or baked oatmeal with some berries, little tiny cup of brown sugar and some cream. They'll bring it to your table with an assigned # you get. There are plenty of muffins and other treats to make a sugar fiend happy. However Mama D's Wales, it can be often busy and crowded inside so pack your patience. Might have to wait to find a seat in this smaller place. Super cute coffee shop It has a nice vibe. They have an outside patio where you can drink your coffee and there are a couple fire pits that you can sit around to stay warm. They offer different types of coffee, great coffee, and very good quiche. They also sell organic eggs! Fabulous find on my route to the office, wish I had found it sooner. Fantastic fresh & local menu. Daily breakfast quiches are amazing and very affordable. Great selection of sandwiches and soup for lunch too. Staff is always friendly and accommodating and can recommend something delicious. Always a great place in the Wales area to grab a cup of coffee. I have had some of there sandwiches, breakfast or lunch, and they have just been okay. With Increased freshness of the food it would have been a definite 5. I can't speak in terms of the bakery items but they do seem delicious so might have to jump in the next time I go The 4 stars is strictly because they have a great relaxed vibe with everything that you want from a ma and pa stop. The coffee is primarily valentine coffee but they have blends from around the world. My favorite usually jumps from the Ethiopian and brewing style being that of a "Pour over". The lattes have been above industry standard aka better than Starbucks. Overall enjoy the vibe, enjoy the coffee, food may need a revamp but damn those desserts look delicious. Update- bakery is indeed delicious! Pesto sandwich is the best. The cookies are yum. 4 stars updated to 5 after continued great service and great food and coffee. This may be one of the most charming places I've been into around the area ! Take a drive down Main Street to get here and it feels like your taking a mini vacation to the chill zone . It's located off the bike path . Don't own a bike? No worries , they offer bike rentals . They pretty much offer everything for liquids. Juices , smoothies , coffee , beer , mimosas and every other drink in-between. There's a water jug with cups located next to the front door as well. They have TONS of bakery . Muffins , cookies, vegan treats and, just like the liquids, everything else in-between . My favorite personally is the lemon bar ! They also have a lemon white chocolate chip Cookie for under a dollar ! They offer breakfast all day , cold sandwiches and hot sandwiches . They have a kids menu and they let anyone order off of it ( sometimes you just want a light meal , no shame adults no shame .) True to cafe standard they have salad and soups. Today I tried the baked oatmeal (eggs, cinnamon, brown sugar and blueberries and more) with a blueberry muffin. The muffin is a must! I am upgrading my rating to five star. Service again wonderful. Food was wonderful and we called in to reserve a table and they have a back room with a table for 8. Live music today was nice to have.
