Collectivo is my favorite coffee, especially Del Sol, the morning blend: rich, full- bodied, but not bitter. I stop here whenever I am near Elkhorn. Chai tea ( loose leaves) is my drink of choice and they always have it available. A great location on the square and within walking distance of a host of businesses as well as the county court house. Back for the 2018 summer season and have been in to get reacquainted. OK IT IS 2019 and we are back for our specialty beverages. A great place to stop in rural atmosphere. Will wonders never cease? I love latte's but whole milk does not like me, as I am lactose intolerant. Leave it to the dairy industry to produce a new milk, a2, and this dairy family run coffee shop to have it on hand. A2 milk has a component removed (a1) which makes the milk digestible for lactose intolerant humans that otherwise would have gastrointestinal distress. Isn't science wonderful. Just ask for a2 for a of your favorite drinks. It doesn't get any better than this. Perkup also caters coffee service et el to groups in the area and delivers. Open, friendly and offers great drinks and snacks. It is the family owned small business to patronize in downtown Elkhorn. The only thing that Tops the coffee drinks are the amazing people at Perkup Coffee. We moved to another state and the coffee is so good that we actually have it mailed to us periodically. They serve Colectivo and Door County Coffees which is the finest coffee in my opinion for coffee connoisseurs. Stopped by because we saw this menu on yelp, my daughters can't digest dairy and this picture of the menu posted 14 days ago indicated that they offered soy and almond milk as an alternative to milk. When we arrived we were told they do not offer those, because the woman behind the counter is a dairy farmer, and doesn't believe in supporting non dairy options. I absolutely support anyone having their views, and expressing their support...however this woman was actually kind of rude...and I felt assumed a political position when we just asked for dietary reasons. Perhaps the menu picture that offers non dairy should be removed, to prevent this experience from happe ing again. Had we known we would not have come there. read more

Don't know how new this is but it is a welcome addition to the Elkhorn square district. Right next door to 31 and down the street from Moys. They serve Alterra so that's a plus. Way better than any chain (mermaid) Java shop. Has a quirky vibe that I liked. Not big city (like Anodyne) but hey this is Elkhorn. I have only been once and it was solid thus the 4 stars. Their website clearly states they have soy, almond, and coconut milk....we were told otherwise when we arrived. They only offer A2 milk as a "dairy free" alternative, A2 is not diary free as it is made from real milk. As someone who cannot have ANY form of milk (lactose free or A2), I did not appreciate being told that they don't offer dairy free because they "don't believe" in milk alternatives. Sorry my body cannot digest it, just wanted a latte. Will never go here again. read more

They don't offer any dairy free options, so they aren't accommodating of lactose intolerant people or those who follow a plant-based diet. It's 2020, super disappointing that they don't even offer a single dairy free milk! They only offer A2 milk which is not good for lactose intolerance like they claim. read more

This coffee shop opened about 8 months ago. It is a very nice and comfy shop. We didn't get to stay long but they do have more than just coffee and bakery. They had some nice spots to sit down and relax. We ordered some coffee and bakery and all was delicious. The owner was very pleasant which is always a plus at a coffee shop. So stop by here and give them your business. We need more places like this. We will stop by here whenever we pass through Elkhorn. read more

I love this coffee shop! While originally from SE Wisconsin, I haven't lived in the state for about 15 years, but visit often to see my parents. I tried this place on one of my visits and was quite pleased. Great coffee (loved my mocha!), cute place, nice employees, much more spacious inside than it appears outside (it extends backwards farther than you'd think). Perkup Elkhorn provided coffee to our wedding guests last weekend. We got married at Camp Wandawega and wanted fresh and local coffee for our guests to enjoy on both Saturday and Sunday. We worked with Laurie to arrange coffee delivery on both days, and she was a complete pleasure to work with! She brought two types of coffee in addition to all needed cups, lids, sugars, and cream. She came on time both days and was great to communicate with! Additionally, the coffee was delicious, and we got a lot of compliments on it from our guests. This coffee shop is absolutely fantastic! I happened upon it after attending the Elkhorn Flea Market a few years ago. I had an excellent Caramel Macchiato and the best ginger snap cookie I have ever had. I had honestly kind of forgotten about it, but this Saturday we took a ride as there isn't a coffee shop in our neighborhood. The owner is the barista. Very friendly, very talented. She makes an amazing specialty coffee and makes you feel like a regular even if you are a newbie. This place is worth the 20 minute drive for us, and we will definitely be back! read more

Best place in the area for coffee drinks and it's a family business. They serve Collectivo coffee which is still superior to all national chains I've tried. Outside of Milwaukee, the owner is the best at making lattes. She won't make a goofy design, but she has the espresso to milk to flavoring ratio down pat. Her and her employees are always friendly and inviting. The non coffee drinks are also great, so it's a place you can find something for almost everyone. I recommend the Cookies and Creme frappe for those who want a dessert drink. The prices are comparable to the national chains, so if you're in the area, there's no reason not to stop by downtown Elkhorn for a liquid treat. read more

Absolutely amazing experience! I think the barista's (maybe owner) name was Lauren. She was so friendly and just amazing. She was so kind to my family- to the point that she called my 2 year old over and offered to help her wash her hands. That is just going above and beyond.
