Nancy was rude and condescending to me, as I was trying to reschedule my appointment because I am pregnant and couldn't make it she persistently made it difficult to do so and was making personal remarks that were beyond unprofessional. I attempted to call back and voice my concerns and discomfort she immediately started to yell at me and say I was " tongue lashing " at her and as I was letting her know I'd like to speak to her manager she yelled at me and then hung up the phone on me. I've never received such biaed unpleasant service before. I attempted to apologize that she felt that way although she never apologized to me. Very unprofessional behavior.

I booked an appointment and…read moreshowed up 30ish minutes early and was told they were running behind on an appointment which was fine! Around 2 hours later they could see me. I was going in for a routine root canal, and walked out with emotional trauma and a unfixed tooth which I still haven't fixed because of the emotional trauma I experienced. I was seen by a Dr. A, I explained to the hygienist that I have a bad gag reflex and a hard time with dental work. She was amazing helped me through X-rays and was overall amazing. The dr. did not care and when placing the the clamp shoved a dental block after explaining that I cannot open my mouth wide he continued to shove it, and had no care. The clamp around my tooth became undone, and had to be reclamped and the dr. Clamped my lip I tried to tell him he wouldn't listen finally he noticed the blood. He gave me the numbing shots and told me if I needed more to raise my hand. I immediately felt the drilling in a very painful way. I raised my hand and mumbled I am in pain. Dr. A and I quote told me "your not in pain it's just bumpy" what does that even mean? He gave me another shot because I continued to advocate for myself. I was done with him, I asked the hygienist how much longer this would take she told me probably another 3 hours. Even though my sister and dad had the same procedure done and it only took 45 minutes to an hour. Dr. A explained I was only 25% done. So I left without the procedure done because of Dr. A's actions and overall making me feel like I was dumb for being in pain. I do not blame the hygienist or the front desk lady because they were amazing but not their horrible boss. Dr. A is not listed on the website anymore.

I was in & out of there in about 45 minutes. From discussions with my friends this is NOT normal.... 2-3 visits... pain and many hours in the chair is what they got! Dr. Loth and here assistant were like Edward Scissorhands. Always with the right tool ready to make my experience pain free and quick. I really can't believe how much of a non-issue this whole event was. Driving to Arlington from Fort Worth at 1 pm was more stressful. When visiting I understood the stare of my teeth but Dr Klassen gave me hope that we could fix the issues. After the 3rd visit, in the middle of prepping me for yet another root canal, she tells me dentures would probably be my best route. Only after thousands of dollars in did she volunteer this information. I had previously asked her to remove a tooth that cause severe pain and she said she thought she could save that to only be removed a few months later. When I confronted her about this she said she thought she could save it once again. Now I go to get a second opinion about dentures and not only does the denture specialist tell me that in good conscience she cannot remove my teeth for dentures but that a root canal crown that Dr Klassen put in had a huge cavity on it. One of the most recents. I just saw Dr Klassen a month ago and when I asked her about it she says she didn't see it. Not sure how she could miss it since I could see it with the naked eye. My first root canal they were able to do at the dentist, but this one I was referred to a specialist. It was an emergency and I was in a lot of pain . Dr. Saunders and the Essential Endodontics crew made the pain go away in less than 2 hours . I also received a call the next day to make sure I was okay . If your dentist sends you here don't be scared, the worst part is when when they numb the area as they are going to work on , you will feel close to nothing during the procedure. I was seen by Dr. Chad Allen who is very awesome. Although I don't like to be kept waiting, that aside Dr. Allen made me feel comfortable from the start. As soon as he walked in to the patient's treatment room, I had no doubts of his abilities. He told step by step what I should expect, even though I wasn't nervous. They have really good tunes going on the radio which made the whole visit comfortable. I've been recommending Dr. Chad Allen of Southlake Endodontics to my neighbors, family, etc. In fact I had to seen him again because I kept feeling sensitivity on the tooth that he worked on (no problems found due to the procedure), and on the way home stopped by Tom Thumb store in Grapevine and was talking to the cashiers. And I had told them about Dr. Allen and one of the ladies said she was looking for a Doctor because she needed a root canal. I talked up Dr. Allen because he truly did an awesome job. The only reason for the 4 Star is that the front desk is not organized well nor do they have a good system for helping a patient in pain. YEars ago the front desk was wonderful! Micha who is also now there is meh - no empathy and borders on being rude. Other then that the practice is wonderful!!!!! Although never the same without my favorite doctor.
