Great Rental, Rough Location, Not simple Car Returns…read more.. This location saved us from having the insane Oregon 40% rental car tax at the airport! So hurray! Pickup was ok, they make you go up into the ok'd parking garage and find the car though, kind of shady/dangerous area with homeless people living in tents and plywood over windows covered in graffiti. Drop off was a pain, construction crews had the road impeded, I had a baby with me so I needed to grab luggage and a child and trucking through a mystery parking garage in the hood didn't have a happy feeling to it. There was a woman with no tip on standing in the middle of the street making crazy faces at us. A man with his pants at his ankles staring at a tree. Homeless tents along the sidewalks to the garage. They let me drop it at the curb after voicing my concerns but didn't seem happy about it. All in all a better deal than the airport, but Portland needs to clean up its city!

They have the worst customer service. My friend lost his key and he had to call multiple time…read morebefore he got a hold of someone to talk to. On top of that the car that was supposed to come help him never showed up. He had to leave the car and we had to give him a ride to his hotel.

This location serves both Avis and Budget, I think its one and the same so im not sure why confuse…read morepeople with different portals. I go to the budget website and I always get the best deals here. Ive already rented twice. We dont have a car so when we run errands on weekends this is my go to place instead of spending money on uber. Yes the cars are not cleaned well, there were some oranges in the backseat when we got the car Yes there was a time when they didnt even write the license plate and parking location of the car in the cover sheet so I had to go find the car by the clicker Yes they tell you to park in the ground floor but its usually fully and they didnt tell me to go up up up up 11 floors as the other option. But The cars are nice The prices cant be beat The people are not bad in fact, I forgot stuff in the car and called them the next day and they called me back and found it They have after hours drop off So whats not to like? I call it a good value rental. Im one for value at all times.

I've rented from Avis for many years, but this last experience was disappointing. The word…read more"similar" in their car descriptions seems to be used very loosely. I reserved a Toyota Camry, but was given a Hyundai Santa Cruz mini pickup instead. To me, that's not even close to "similar." The Santa Cruz seats four but has a small, uncovered truck bed -- which meant all our luggage had to go inside the cab. That was inconvenient for several reasons: lack of security if we stopped anywhere, rain (which we knew was coming), and the risk of getting our bags dirty. If I wanted a small pickup, I would have reserved one. Ironically, I feel like if I had reserved a Santa Cruz, I probably would've ended up with a Camry! The rental agent seemed stressed and mentioned working long hours, so I didn't complain at the time. But since Avis asked for feedback, here it is -- I wasn't happy. After years of loyalty, I'll be looking at other rental options next time.

Everything with the rental car was smooth but I feel I need to post a WARNING for women:…read more This isn't the best area. They have a giant security robot that roams the block ( completely useless) and one security guard at the drive through ramp. My husband went down the steps into the parking garage to get the car and my daughter and I stayed with all of the luggage. The lobby began to fill up so to be polite my daughter and I headed out front with our luggage to wait and make space for the new people. We were approached by a homeless man that was completely out of his mind loaded. He tried to grab either me, my daughter, or my luggage. As he approached I blocked my daughter and belongings. He kept grabbing at us. He kept telling me " come with me now. Come now! I'll take you places. Girl you come with me" I asked him to leave and he wouldn't. This exchange seemed to go on forever. My daughter was terrified. I glanced at the big security guy and pleaded for help with my eyes. Unfortunately he looked at me and went down the ramp. A man suddenly came around the corner to get into Enterprise for his car he was renting and swooped in to save the day. He started shouting at the man " this is my family! Leave! Get out of here now!" That man was a hero and waited with my daughter and I until my husband came with the car. Ladies: DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES leave that lobby while you wait for your vehicle! That security guard will not help you..... he simply a decoration for the building!!!!!! That homeless man eyed us down until the second we turned the corner in our car. It was absolutely terrifying. So much so my daughter begged and pleaded to not return the car to this location and instead drive all the way home. So we paid the fee and drove home.

Props to the staff at Enterprise for a wonderful experience. I rented a car for almost 2 weeks and…read morenot only did I have a fabby car, I got quite a deal, too! Super easy to rent and return plus the staff were very helpful and kind. I highly recommend this location for a rental!
