Very nice staff over all. I would highly recommend William B for massage. I've had many massages and several very good ones including specialized massages like lymphatic massage, but William gave me the best full body massage I've ever had. He polite, very professional and obviously cares about the quality massage he gives his clients. He really individualized my massage to what I needed focus on. I like firm pressure and let all massage therapists I go to know that. William was consistent throughout, gave great attention to the knots in my neck muscles and shoulders. The hand, wrist, foot and leg treatments were the best I've had anywhere. Actually others haven't even treated those areas at all for over 4x the price. Thank you William. I decided to try this spa out first through Groupon. My husband & I had a relaxation couples massage, our therapists Kisha and Tabitha were awesome! We enjoyed our massages so much that I booked another session 2 weeks later for a combo between relaxation and deep tissue and I must say WOW Kisha's technique left me feeling like a brand new person she knew exactly where all the tension in my shoulders and back were. I've had hundreds of massages and I can honestly say Kisha is the best and I highly recommend this spa! read more

This place has been opened for about a year now and shame on me for not trying it out sooner! The pricing is what caught my eye: no contracts necessary and 1 hour massages start at $30. They also have a day spa so you can get facials, waxing, sauna, etc. I tried to book a couples massage online and couldn't figure it out so I called. The receptionist was super nice and quick, just like that I was all set. We did have to get there about 10 mins early as first timers have to fill out paperwork. We were quickly greeted by Stephen and Jamie and taken back to the couples room. Stephen could immediately tell that all my tension is in my neck and shoulders so he said that would be the focus area. They asked some questions and then it was time for the massage! They were extremely professional and the massage was amazing! I can't recommend enough. My boyfriend and I agreed that we will start going monthly. My boyfriend surprised me with a couple's massage here which he got off Groupon. While filling out the paperwork we were disappointed to find out it would be $15 extra for a "deep tissue" massage but we both agreed to pay it because we really didn't see ourselves enjoying the massage unless it was deep tissue. When our massage therapists came out of the room I was barely greeted and did not feel welcomed. MY therapist evidently did not look at the paperwork I had filled out including the words "Deep tissue" circle on the paperwork and apparently the front desk did not inform her we agreed to pay for the deep tissue. During the massage my boyfriend and I were in the same room and I could hear his therapist was asking if she should go lighter/heavier etc while mine did not once ask me how it was. I was naively waiting for the back rub to turn into a deep tissue massage for a while - I thought maybe she was just warming up - until she moved onto an arm and leg rub. At that point I realized she must not have been informed or did not read that this was supposed to be deep tissue but I felt awkward telling her halfway through the massage to go harder on my arms/legs when my back is really all I cared about (which I did tell her to focus on). Afterwards I was still not sure if maybe the therapist I got was just really light-handed so I did not say anything and I regrettably paid for the $30 extra ($15 for each of use) for $15 of deep tissue that I did NOT receive. When I got in the car I asked my boyfriend how his experience was and he told me it felt great - his therapist used her thumbs, elbows, etc and was digging into his "knots" and he even had to tell her to go lighter and then I was finally positive I DEFINITELY did not get a deep tissue massage. At this point it was obviously too late however, later in the day I did end up calling them and letting them know I paid $15 for something I 100% did not get. I thought the least they could do would be to apply the $15 to a future massage there (assuming they would want the returning business). The lady at the front desk told me she would talk to her boss and get back to me..... It has been a month and I have not heard back from them. Looking at other reviews, seems like several others have had the same or similar experience here. Would not recommend but if you do decide to go here for a deep tissue massage you need to tell your massage therapist directly that you paid extra for deep tissue so you don't end up with an hour long body rub. Also, I do think its worth noting I am rating my experience with the massage therapist I had. Apparently my boyfriend's therapist did know it was deep tissue, she was nice, and he had a great massage. I also saw a returning customer in the waiting room who was really excited to see the male massage therapist. I wish I had gotten one of them. My experience was mainly poor because of the therapist I had and the lack of response from the company regarding the issue despite being told they would call me back about it. read more

I was a walk in. I had to wait to be acknowledged, as the front desk staff, therapist, & owner were discussing how to note account of non-tippers. They expressed that non, or low tippers not welcome. If that wasn't bad enough, no groupon customers welcome either. If you have a groupon, they will tell you over the phone, that they are booked. As a business owner, you shouldn't discriminate against customers. Tipping is not mandatory. Pay your therapists their worth, then they don't have to rely on "unpredictable" tippers. Tabitha is an incredible massage therapist. She has a great flow, pressure and technique. She addresses all my concerns throughout the massage. I've seen her twice so far and she has impressed me each time. The foot scrub at the end of each session is also a really nice addition. :) read more

I do not recommend this place. My fiancé and I came in for a massage appointment at 3:00 pm and were seen a little late (did not mind this) but then when the "60 minute massage" was completed, the time was 3:50 so the massage was nearly half an hour from getting into the room, undressing, etc. My fiancé had no complaints about his massage. Mine on the other hand was rough. The girl seemed to be "random and rushed" with her techniques and didn't seem to listen to my reactions about spots that hurt or needed more pressure. I left with awful neck pain where I couldn't even turn my neck and lower back pain- neither that I had before. This morning I woke up with awful pain in my neck and back and am wondering what my masseuse did absolutely wrong to cause this. Would NOT recommend this place or at least the girl who performed my massage- I've never experienced this type of pain after a massage. read more

First, the front desk woman is not friendly at all. Rude and gossipy. Second, the person who was supposed to do my massage did not show up. They didn't apologize and they just wanted to take me in late with someone else but I couldn't stay for the full hour since they we're running behind and all they could do was give me a gift card with my money back that I had to pay for a deposit. When asked to clarify why I couldn't get my money back (because clearly I'm not coming back so a gift card is a waste of my money)even though the person who was doing massage didn't show up all they could say was, "it's a policy. Rude receptionist at both locations, and very unorganized. Scheduled me an appointment and failed to mention the location and that there was another location. Also failed to take down my credit card info. So when i went to wrong location they got mad when they informed me they need to charge me for my missed massage. they need to get their stuff together. The Essential Day Spa is lovely the staff is pleasant and scheduling is easy. I had a 90 minute combo massage experience with Matt. OMG I'm still floating on a cloud. The only improvement that could be made is if the massage is performed on a scenic Caribbean beach. The BEST part aside from the stellar quality of service is the pricing! There is no "introductory price" trap, there is no pressure to sign up for a monthly membership. I can admit I am an avid deal hopper ; I bounce between massages based on what Groupons are available. This 5 star review is going STRAIGHT to my massage therapist, Tabitha! I have suffered from tension headaches my whole life, and within the last year had a career change that is very hands on (I am an Esthetician). I came in to Tabitha desperate to get a last minute deep tissue massage to work out the kinks in my neck and shoulders and to get rid of the awful headache I woke up with. She was WONDERFUL!!! I have never had a deep tissue be that deep. I left headache free. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU! tried this place twice, both bad experiences. It's more like a rub down rather than a massage. The first time I went, was suppose to be an hour, but was only 45 minutes including the time to undress. It was like one big rub with occassional pressure. The 2nd time, the masseuse only used 1 hand to massage me the whole time and left a long scratch on my back from a nail. I purchased a $65 gift card for my wife for Mother's Day from this place so she could have some time for herself. She scheduled her appointment to get seen for today but unfortunately I got sick and one of our kids got sick so she couldn't go to her appointment. When she called to cancel the appointment and see if she could reschedule it, she was told she couldn't. They charged the $65 from her gift card still, and when my wife tried to explain our situation and the reason why she couldn't make it today, she was told "... I bought a Groupon for a massage- the ad on Groupon mentioned nothing about only allowing Groupons to be used on weekdays. I called and spoke to Lisa, who was very rude and ungracious when I mentioned that the Groupon shows nothing for restrictions on appointment days. She offered no apology, and offered nothing to resolve the issue. I cancelled the Groupon and will never go to that spa. Apparently, Lisa thinks that Groupon people are trash who don't deserve to be treated well. Too bad that is the experience I had when just trying to book an appointment- I can only imagine how the actual experience would be. read more

In short- this place didn't get anything right. Not their customer experience, their service, nor their pricing. There was nothing professional about this place, so keep in mind, you get what you pay for. Called about their couples massage Groupon before purchasing and was told that they are running a promotion $65 for a couples massage. I regularly get massages at least once a month. I typically pay around $50 with gratuity just for myself, as I usually shop for a deal, but I'm willing to pay more for a better experience and better service if necessary. They had open availability the 2 days I was considering. I called back and the lady was a bit rude and short on the phone, but I excused it, and scheduled an appointment. Had to give my credit card as there was a cancellation fee. When I got there, everything went fine with check-in. Once the masseuse started, it seemed rushed, and more like a "rub-down" rather than a massage. For any extra pressure, there was an additional hidden cost. Typically, even with a simple Swedish massage, they will still ask for any "problem areas" to focus on, and ask about how much pressure you would like. Neither of these questions were asked. It was my boyfriend's first experience getting a massage, so I had hoped for a good one. My massage was not enjoyable as she seemed very hyper and rushed around the room bumping into me or my partner (as he told me after) several times, and he told me after that his masseuse was hurting him with too much pressure in certain areas. Also, there was a fan on, which didn't bother me at first but the masseuse used far too much oil, and after 5-10 minutes, I was freezing cold. Not to mention the tables are rock hard (I would say most every other place I have gone had heated tables actually) and altogether it was a pretty awful experience. It was really embarrassing taking my boyfriend here. I would not come back or recommend this place to anyone. read more

Imagine missing Valentines day with your wife for a third year in a row due to life in the armed services. You want to do something special for her to help her relax while you're deployed overseas. So you send her to the spa as an added bonus to everything else you sent her over valentine's day. Then imagine she tells you a list of issues listed below afterwards: Went for 50 min relaxation msssage. Therapist was Jamie *Burned my legs with hot towels, informed they were tingling. Was told that "the therapists said the warmer shouldn't get that hot." Was not offered ANYTHING. No cold towel. Not another therapist to look at it. Nothing. *Had a nasty cough. Did not cover her mouth. *Didnt completely lotion feet. Half did them. Completely disregarded lotioning between toes. *Placed a medical bracelet that wasnt mine, from the floor on top of my clothing (GROSS!!!!) Belonged to the client before me. *Told me to get dressed and she'd be outside waiting for me but never was. Didn't offer me any water or see if I needed anything afterwards at all. *Ran out right after massage *Terrible service. Waste of money. Oh when I read this list I was livid. So I called, and spoke to Haley who was actually very apologetic and genuinely listened. She told me Lisa was not in but would be the following day. Fast forward to today when I called and listed above issues That arrogant sorry excuse for a manager had the audacity to say my wife (who is an RN) was a liar and there was no medical bracelet and said very sarcastically, "WhAt Do YoU wAnT mE tO dO?" How about refund me my money Or schedule a make up appointment to make it right Or call my wife and apologize You're a sorry manager, Lisa and I will never forgive you. Wow!!! Best massage in a very long time. My masseuse Kisha is simply fabulous! The place is immaculate with a peaceful atmostphere. Everyone made me feel welcome. I enjoyed the stones. I bought two groupons for this spa. These were given as gifts for Mother's Day. The recipients of the gifts were very disappointed. It's not their first time getting a massage so they know what to expect from "an hour massage". They said they felt rushed and didn't feel any type of relaxation whatsoever. I have been to the spa twice and it has not disappointed. The first time i did a massage with a massage therapist. I also did a facial with Charles. The massage was good but the facial was extraordinary. I scheduled a facial again with Charles for today online. For some reason the appointment did not go through to their system and was not scheduled when i got there. They called Charles who was willing to come in and while i was waiting i was able to use the sauna and foot massage. They apologized for the glitch profusely and did everything they could to make my experience pleasurable. The customer service was great and the facial was even better. The prices are great and makes a luxury treatment something affordable to indulge in. read more

RUDEST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!! Their cancellation policy is not clear when you make an appointment. I booked a couples massage and facial for my (long distance) boyfriend and I. Due to Dorian he was not able to make his flight. When I canceled they were not able to clearly tell me their cancellation policy and where my deposit would go. Upon learning it would be held as a "gift card" is made an appointment for myself. The services were good for their price. Upon checking out I was presented with a bill whee only half of my deposit was used. The rude and disrespectful front desk lady stated that the other half was for my husbands account. I tried explaining he's not in the state and that it was my credit card that was used. I tried to speak to an owner and she was not available at the time. I did not leave a tip due to the rude service I was given at checkout. She made it very clear to those in the waiting area that I was not giving a tip. I have never felt so frustrated and pissed off after a massage and facial. DO NOT GO HERE. read more

This place is great I won't go anywhere else for a body massage. Eileen especially is great for prenatal massages or a deep tissue regular massage. My neck was hurting really bad I was going to go to the doctor but I said let me get a massage first and Eileen was able to release all the tension I had in my neck, I avoid a doctors visit.
