Absolute chaos of minor league baseball from beginning to end but we absolutely loved it. It had been a bucket list item for a while to go to a TJ Toros game and we took a few hours out of our trip to San Diego to make it happen! Park easily at the border and be across walking in 10 minutes. Cheap Uber to the stadium and scan your tickets which you bought online in advance and you are in for a few hours of fun. The game is almost secondary to the constant lights, music, mascots (like 10?!) food vendors and other patrons having a great time. Buy the upgraded seats (still super cheap) be brave enough to try some food (or not) and buy some authentic or knock off merch. Uber after the game back to the border was quick and cheap as well. Felt very safe the entire time and while there were minimal language issues and we probably paid tourist prices from a few vendors it was an unforgettable experience!

They are not organized at all. People do not stay in their designated area it's annoying but whatever.

The entrance line looked intimidating at first, but it was well organized and moved surprisingly fast. Food and drinks lines were on the longer sides, but with so many vendors and options, so it didn't feel so painful. Great atmosphere all around, I would definitely come back, may be next time for a baseball game!

When we came on one night. It was the first night of Star Wars Weekend. They hired people wearing costumes as Star Wars characters to walk around the park. It was cool because when we first walked in, there was a whole cast of Mandalorian characters available for a photo opportunity, immediately when you enter the park. Throughout the park, there were Star Wars characters and it was really cool. A problem that I had was that because this was the first night of Star Wars Weekend at Petco Park, but...they didn't do any announcements nor any cool graphics, movie clips, character mentions, etc. on the Jumbotron nor the scoreboard for Star Wars night. It was disappointing because the next day on the news and on social media, we saw that they actually did do something on the scoreboard and Jumbotron for the second night of Star Wars Wekeend. I feel like maybe they were just a little unprepared. Still, having the cast of characters walk around Petco Park the first night, was still cool. On our second visit, we sit in the nosebleeds (Section 305 over Padres Dugout) because we were attending with an organization. Even though it was scary to go up into that steep area, it was such a nice experience as we met some Phillies fans from Australia, who sat next to us. Overall, the vibe and feel up there was fun and very cool. We never really buy the food here anymore because it doesn't taste the same as if you buy it outside of the park, but it is great that they have different options for food. Also, it's very expensive and, for our family, we just can't afford it all the time. We opt to pickup food and bring it in to eat in our seats or at an eating area in the park. This works for our family. The problem that we had on the first night that we attended, was that there was a woman who was not supposed to be sitting behind us. She just popped into the seat with her boyfriend for about three innings, and she was so drunk that she spilled her margarita on the back of my husband's shirt and hat, as well as on the back of my bottom side. I was so so upset, because there were kids and families around, and she was so faded drunk. This was so disappointing. I feel like they never check if people are supposed to be in the right seat, and people can just sort of walk around and sit wherever they want. We pay good money for our seats. This lady was so loud, rowdy, and drunk and there were so many kids and families in our section. It was just really rough having a drunk woman riled up and acting crazy. She did apologize to us (profusely because she was so drunk), and finally her boyfriend took her away. The Padres ended up winning and it made the night a lot better. Overall, just be careful when you find that there's a drunk person sitting in your area because they can totally mess up the whole experience.

My only complaint was the bathroom setup for the men's room. I've never seen a line 50 people deep. It's not like the layout can be fixed, just plan ahead. Good food options that moved people through relatively quickly. And it's always a plus when your team wins.

It's a mid-sized arena (about 12,000 seats), so even if you're up in the higher rows, you still feel like you're part of the action. The energy was electric, especially seeing the Villanova blue and white mixed in with the sea of SDSU red seats. The Good: * The Sightlines: There really isn't a bad seat in the house. Since it's a bowl shape, you're right on top of the court. * The Vibe: The "open-air" concourse is such a San Diego move--it's great to step out for a breather between games without feeling like you're trapped in a basement. * Organization: For a sold-out NCAA event, getting through security was surprisingly smooth, though the "clear bag" policy is strictly enforced, so don't try to sneak anything in. The Not-So-Good: * Concession Lines: Between sessions, the lines for food and beer were brutal. If you don't time your run perfectly, you're going to miss the start of the next tip-off. * Cashless Only: The whole place is cashless now. Great for speed, but a pain if you didn't come prepared. * Parking: It's SDSU, so parking is always a headache. If you didn't rideshare, you probably spent 20 minutes circling the structures. Bottom Line: If you get a chance to see a tournament game here, take it. It's loud, intimate, and has way more character than those massive NBA arenas where you're a mile away from the floor.

It was a hot weekend but there was plenty of shade at the top of the Ampitheater. This venue is a great place to listen to live music. The sound was great and there was plenty of seating. Check the website because it may vary depending the event but I would suggest bringing a pop up of sorts and some lawn chairs. The bottom half of the Ampitheater is stadium type seating, essentially concrete seats which get very hot with the Temecula heat. If you plan on sitting in those seats I would suggest bringing a seat cushion for comfort as well as protection from burning your bum, and a hat. Overall a really neat venue.

This is a beautiful outdoor arena located on the grounds of the Temecula Community Recreation Center and next to the Ronald Regan Sports Park. There are several rows of tiered seating with a grassy area which is wide enough to fit a beach chair for comfortable seating. At the top, above the tiered seating levels is a grassy area where you can lay down a blanket and spread out. There is also easy handicap access and seating. No alcohol or pets are allowed. There is lots of parking. These concerts are very popular and fill up quickly. Get there early to grab your spot, bring a picnic dinner, and enjoy the outdoor setting while waiting for the concert to start. The audience is filled with young and old, and a lot of families. There are usually snacks and drinks for sale, but not anything for a full meal. I think last night the vendor was Maui Wowi Hawaiian Coffees and Smoothies. Last night the band was Smokin' Cobras, singing old time rock and roll, a little bit of Johnny Cash, Beach Boys, Swing, and a lot more. Everyone gets into the music and there was a lot of dancing. It was fun, fun, fun! The seats face west and the sun is right in your face until it sets. It does get hot during the summer time. Bring sun glasses, a hat, or an umbrella for shade. Once the sun goes down, the evenings are usually quite nice. Last night was a bit chilly. Temecula is such a great place to live!
