My friend and I came here for the K-Pop group Enhypen's first performance in San Diego! I was a…read morelittle worried initially since this was also my first time at Snapdragon Stadium, and knew there was still quite a bit of construction going on. Parking wasn't too bad, it was definitely convenient buying parking in advance so we could just scan and go to park. Unfortunately be ready to go get your car washed after because the lots are extremely dusty and unpaved. They did have water truck try to help reduce the dust but it wasn't much help. The stadium inside was very clean, crowded with the number of people, but that's expected. Restroom facilities were very clean and all the bar staff extremely pleasant to chat with. Finding our seats was easy and we had a great view of the stage. Weather was perfect, the group was amazing, and the whole night was an experience! Looking forward to my next visit here

Extremely disappointing and poorly managed event. The stadium did not have enough security or staff…read moreto handle the number of visitors, resulting in long delays and eventually closed gates because they couldn't manage the crowds. This created an unsafe environment, especially for families and children, and caused many paying customers to miss a large portion of the matches. The lack of organization and crowd control was unacceptable. For a venue hosting an event of this size, there is no excuse for such poor planning and execution.

I loved this stadium. New York Met fan FO life but I was visiting San Diego from New York and…read morethought it would be fun to go to a Padres game and it WAS FUN. First off, what a breeze getting into the stadium, just organized and easy, I was shocked. People in California are so chill, it's bizarre. I swear I didn't hear one honk of road rage my entire trip. Anyways, they had this grass seating area you could sit at inside the stadium, adorable. A massive sand pit in the outfield, how cool. The sunset as I was walking up to my seats, a dream. The people, friendly! The Diet Coke, REFRESHING. (Even though side note the guy charged me $14 for a souvenir cup when I didn't want a souvenir cup obviously not going to have a Padres cup in my cabinet but you know what, that's OK because the whole experience of being at this stadium was so lovely, give me a cup, charge me an obscene amount for a soda, whatever dude!) There were so many food options it was overwhelming in a good way, so many bars to hang out at in the stadium, cool crowd, highly recommend coming here for a game even if you're not a fan.

The crowd was amazing..... We won this game so it was extra fun. You don't always have to buy food & drinks. However, it's part of the ballpark experience. Luckily if you're on a budget, you can bring in snacks and an empty drink bottle to use. They have plenty of water stations.

I am so surprised that I have not yet reviewed this Amphitheater. It is currently called the Cal…read moreCoast Credit Union Amphitheater, but I always think of it as the "SDSU Open Air Theater". Regardless, it is generally a great place to catch a show. Through the years, I have seen many great shows here including Flogging Molly, The Shins, Prince, Interpol, and many others. I hadn't been in a couple years, but last week my husband and I went to see The Human Leave, Soft Cell, and Alison Moyet (Yaz). It was an incredible show. Starting out, there are a few things that I dislike about the venue. First, because it is on a college campus, parking can be difficult and you are basically forced into the $30 paid parking garage. Also, I was suffering from a recent sports injury, making the trek across campus to the theater a bit of a task. In the past, the lines for swag and drinks have been nearly impossible, though, this time, they were much improved. Finally, the trek to the ladies' room is a bit far depending on your seat. Also, it is not a large restroom and the line goes slowly, However, it is clean. On the flip side, there are a lot of positive points to this venue. The location is generally decent as it is not far from town. Despite the crowds coming in for shows, it doesn't take too long to get in and out of the parking lots. The event staff consists of many college students working concessions or ushering, and they are very friendly. It is really a nice, open, outdoor, relaxing venue. There is not a bad seat in the house (as many other reviews state). I have been in front, in back, and in the middle. I have been able to see and hear the show very well from each of my seats. It has also been my experience that the crowd has been generally a well-behaved, polite group, though I guess you can't alway count on that. All in all, it is a great place to catch a show, especially during the beautiful San Diego summer months.

Great sound. Don't think there is a bad seat but come for the music, not the drinks or food…read more The downside are the concession options...they could elevate the choices. Crappy nachos and bags of not fresh popcorn??? Seriously? No full bar, just canned cocktails. In 2025 Truly canned drinks are $18 and Kirkland water is $5. A little silly.
