i just finished the ma program here, my teacher was mrs. b and let me just say she has taught me SO…read moreso much not only as a medical assistant but in life. she always tells us to trust the process and i'm so grateful to have had a teacher that is as a motivational as she is, the way she teaches is different and she's not someone to be scared to tell you the truth which is what we need in this field and i think a lot of people may take it wrong but the things she does was always for our good. overall the medical assisting program has taught me so much, the staff has always been helpful and kind to me. mrs. b is one of the best teachers i've had despite the things others may say, in my opinion you're either built for this or you're not. my extern starts in a few days and she's built and molded me to be hire ready. she really goes above and beyond for her students even if you see it or not .

My experience at High Desert Medical College has been disappointing. I expected a supportive…read morelearning environment where students could ask questions and receive guidance, but that was not my experience. I found some instructors and administrative staff to be rude, unapproachable, and unwilling to provide the level of support that students need to succeed. For example, during one lecture I asked an instructor to clarify a concept that several students seemed confused about, and I was told to "review the material on my own time" without any further explanation. On another occasion, when I approached the front office about a scheduling issue that affected my clinical hours, the staff member I spoke with dismissed my concern and told me it was "not their problem," leaving me unsure of how to resolve the situation. Education programs can be challenging, and students rely on faculty and staff for guidance and encouragement. Unfortunately, I did not feel adequately supported during my time at the school. I believe there is significant room for improvement in communication, professionalism, and student support services. I hope the administration takes student feedback seriously and works toward creating a more respectful and supportive environment for current and future students.

PIRATES AND DINOSAURS MINI-GOLF We paid for the two 9-hole courses (pirates and dinosaurs themes). You simply retrieve another ball at the counter between plays as you lose your ball down the last hole. We thought the pirate course was the better of the two, having some animated screens and was also less busy the day we went. Both courses are indoor and glow-in-the-dark. VISUALLY STUNNING, SLIGHTLY UNINTERESTING HOLES Visually, this is one of the better mini-golf courses we've done, especially because it's neon glow-in-the-dark, although the actual holes were slightly straightforward. Many of them just had concrete obstacles in the way in different formations. Still worth doing though, especially if you're mini-golf fans like us. NOT JUST MINI-GOLF The restrooms were in the back. They have two party rooms that were both busy the day we went. There are arcade machines and laser tag and food and drink available at 'Portal 19' (21+) PRICING The price for 2 mini-golf courses was $17 each. (Spring 2026) PARKING Plenty of free parking out front. A fun place to go for children and adults of all ages! Helpful?

The course itself was clean and interesting; however, the courses were very easy and not very challenging. As a result of the easy courses, my husband and I got through them really fast. I was a bit annoyed because there was another group playing, and they were running all over the place. They were stepping on the props and going out of order. The parents weren't paying attention, and I just wish there had been some intervention from staff, unless they don't have cameras in the room to see this type of behavior going on. I think the mini golf is more for little kids. I've been to other mini golf locations, and have always found them to be fun and challenging. I just feel like I didn't get my money's worth. I think the price should be lower than what it is. Overall, the place was clean, restrooms clean, and the staff were nice and helpful.
