The driver arrived 17 minutes before our requested time, called me because I asked for them to call when they arrive, and drove quickly and efficiently. However, the ride ended up being $77 from Tarzana, right off the highway. I asked about the flat rate and he said it was only for downtown. Weird because downtown is nearly the same time away driving-wise. Although convenient, I checked Uber prices and availability at the time the cab took us, and they were cheaper ($46)and there were drivers around our location. I would like to support other taxi services besides the large rideshare companies but I can't be paying $30 more. Would probably not take them again even though we rarely would require the service.

I said, yes, and expected someone to arrive as reserved and confirmed. They said they would send a driver. At 7:52 PM I received an automated call saying a taxi was assigned and would arrive in 5-10 minutes. At 8:09 PM the taxi did not arrive, so I called and continued to call three more times until 8:25 PM, during which time they said the driver was on the way and would arrive in 5-10 minutes. At 8:30 PM we had to give up waiting and drive our car to LAX so we did not miss our flight. Taking and confirming a reservation for a specific time and then intentionally failing to deliver is deceptive!

do not use. yes they are cheaper than uber or lyft but service is awful…read more I used the RideYellow App. I got a trip code and got in a cab at that was in line at LAX. the driver was kinda rude but i thought maybe he did not understand me. i was confused about having to pay since the app asked for my credit card. the driver just kept saying no cash and i was like i put my card in the app. then he finally pointed to the card reader in the car. also seemed in a rush to get us out of the car. turns out my friend's earbud case fell out of her pocket in the cab. we traced the earbuds using the galaxy phone app. saw they were stationary at a house. figured it was the cab driver. we could not contact the driver. we could not find a number to call except the one for rides. we used the online form to report a lost and found. never received an automated email saying they got the report. so we waited hours and did it again. then changed to say it was a problem with the driver and changed the email address to send the reply to. still nothing. next day at the concert we found a native californian who gave us a different number than online to call. it was still the number to book a ride. telephone agent said she could not contact the driver. then she told us the office was only open regular bank hours. it was a holiday weekend and we were flying out before tuesday when they opened. also by sunday we saw on the app the driver still had one earbud in the car but another was on the street in front of his house. so my friend just gave up and bought new ones.
