We needed a ride to and from lax that included a car seat for our toddler. Our options doing it cheaper we're limited as in didn't have anyone to give us a ride. We considered leaving our car at lax but parking prices were around the same price. So for convenience of not having to park and take a shuttle to lax from the parking lot didn't sound better than paying and getting a lift. I'm all honestly, I would use this service again. At first I had anxiety because I had to do a quote and didn't actually speak to someone verbally. It was all through email and the site. Email replied for the quote was quick (check your junk mail), I had to ask a question to confirm a car seat and received a reply the same day. Our driver Matt text message the night before which gave me piece of mind. He was very accommodating and nice. I even asked him if he was available to pick us up earlier (you know anxiety with traffics/ traveling with a toddler) and he replied right away. It was a smooth easy drive. We paid using Venmo since their credit card system was down. All in all Matt was professional, prompt, easy to work with. I would definitely request to have him drive us again if available. The van he drove was more than enough room and the car seat worked fine. So yes, even with the price, I give this five stars bc it eased my anxiety on traveling with a toddler and needing a car seat. I requested a quote online from LAX Transport when I couldn't reach them by phone. The quote came in at more than twice the cost of a regular taxi, so I clicked the "Cancel quote" button. Nevertheless, I received multiple messages confirming my reservation. I wasn't able to get them to cancel the reservation that I had not made either by sending messages online or by leaving phone messages. It was only when I was contacted by the driver that I was able to get him to convey the message to dispatch. read more

After that, there is minimal communication really which I had read about in some reviews, but right before there is confirmation and the driver came promptly to pick us up, actually even a bit early. I booked a roundtrip shuttle with LAX Transport after reading positive reviews. However, I had a very poor experience with their booking system. I received an email after booking stating that I would receive a confirmation email within 10 minutes to 6 hours. The email also stated that if I did not receive a confirmation email, I could text one of two numbers provided. I waited for the confirmation email, but it never came. I texted one of the numbers, but no one answered. I was unable to confirm my reservation, and I was unable to get in touch with customer service. read more

We were fortunate enough to have George as our driver to the airport and also on our return trip back home. He was prompt, very professional and a safe driver. He paid attention to all the details that make a car service like LAX Transport stand apart and above UBER and LYFT. George made us feel comfortable and was helpful and dependable in a way a random UBER driver likely will not be. For a family of 5, traveling with luggage, the moderately higher cost compared to an UBER SUV is well worth it in my opinion. The only hiccup to LAX Transport was that their confirmation emails kept going to my spam folder--which they themselves alerted me to. Otherwise, they were communicative--especially once we knew George was our driver, he texted appropriately to keep us informed of his ETA and on our return, he gave clear instructions on how to meet him curbside for a fast and efficient pickup in heavy LAX traffic. This was literally the best airport shuttle service I've ever experienced, including experiences with private car companies. It isn't cheap compared to those overarchingly awful shared shuttle services, but if you're looking for a private service and are willing to pay for it (though no more expensive - and in many cases far less - than other private services), you really need to look no further. Especially since with LAX Transport, you also get the luxury of knowing your driver will be *on time* and professional - something I've learned the hard way isn't something you can rely on even when you're willing to spend more. 1) Reservation process was absurdly easy, and quoted / confirmed nearly instantaneously. 2) The driver, Joseph S (in case anyone from the company is reading this), reached out via text a few days before the reservation date to introduce himself and provide his contact info in case of any changes. 3) He contacted again the day before the reservation just to remind us he would be our driver and again, to reach out with any changes. 4) He texted prior to pick up to advise he was on his way. 5) He texted at the pickup time (8a) on the nose to advise he was out front -- which we already knew, because we saw him pull up more than five minutes early. 6) The vehicle was clean and comfortable, with available refreshments. He had very pleasant jazz playing on the radio. He was polite, professional, and friendly. He got us to our terminal on time and without fuss, and told us as he was leaving that they watch the flights and so not to worry about delays, they'd be all over it. He told us he would probably be our driver upon our return, and would text the day before our arrival to confirm everything, just as he'd done for the departure. The payment process was quick and easy. 7) Sure enough, the day before our return, he reached out again. 8) The day of our return, he reached out again, and confirmed he was aware of our flight delay and would be there waiting - he also provided instructions for how to reach him once we landed. 9) By the time we landed, we had another text from him confirming he was there waiting, and giving us very explicit instructions on how to notify him once we were outside baggage claim. And this, 10), is where LAX Transport far exceeded any expectations I might have had - he advised us to respond as soon as we received the message "while the plane is still on the tarmac and before it gets to the gate," so he'd know we knew he was there. When I responded that we were taxiing to the gate, he provided further instructions: "as soon as you get your luggage go directly curbside and then text me the word 'curbside' when you arrive." I did so - he then immediately responded with the color, make, and model of his vehicle, and asked me to tell him which pillars ("please provide number and letter") at which we were waiting. I did so. Less than five minutes later, he was there. Of note, we flew back from Cabo with a relatively well-known actor and his family, and they were still waiting for their service as we were loading our luggage into Joseph's vehicle. We'd chatted with them in the terminal in Cabo, and sat a row in front of them on the flight, and I could see the actor looking at me in wonder and envy as we basically walked out and immediately started loading up in our driver's vehicle. If you've ever been picked up from LAX, whether by a friend or a car service, you know how absolutely unheard of it is to walk out and wait less than 20 minutes for your ride to pull up, due to their strict limitations on waiting in loading zones (and 20 minutes is on a GREAT day). Less than five minutes? I'm convinced the guy is a wizard. I'll never use another service again, and I won't even bother with friends picking me up, even if they want to. This was a superlative, 5 star experience, and well worth the cost ($171 pre tip, to give you an idea - Long Beach to LAX, three passengers, three bags); the peace of mind and smooth, professional experience was more than worth it. And I'll probably ask for Joseph by name going forward. Dude was awesome. read more

Never, ever been late, always on time or early, really sharp about the best ways to get to LAX, like clockwork on pickup from baggage claim, almost like a military operation with their obsession of being at the pickup curb the second I step outside with my baggage (they want a text the moment we touchdown on the runway.) I've used this service at least 10 times now to take me from Culver City to LAX and could not be happier. He's friendly, prompt and got me to my terminal on time. He also gives you a call before pick up to confirm that you're awake and that he's on his way. I almost don't want to share this service, because I'm afraid rates might increase... but since I've been very happy with it, I wanted to share that there are other reasonable options besides parking lots, super shuttle, and cabs. It should be noted, that since I initially wrote this review, the popularity of the service has gone up. Good for them, however, since it's a small service, they must be contacted well in advance. I now book my appointments a month, if not weeks before I fly out. They have always been prompt, and when I accidentally slept through my alarm and missed my pickup, he came back after my frantic call within 5 minutes (fortunately for me, the driver lives minutes away from me in Culver City). They have been a faithful and reliable service for a girl who flies out too often, and I am forever grateful for allowing me to avoid shady cab services. read more

I went back and forth for weeks between renting a car or getting a car service. I'm glad I chose this route. Leaving on Christmas day, I was afraid no one would be available. The quote was reasonable so I followed the email instructions to reserve and pay online. I was a little concerned when I didn't get any more info from them until I reached out a few hours before pick-up time, but there was no need to worry: they were on it. Our driver, Aboul, arrived early but didn't rush us at all. The ride was a Mercedes minivan - very comfortable. I typically use Uber for taxi-like services. I go to LAX from the South Bay, where Uber is often not available, especially in the early hours of the morning. So I was happy to discover LAX Transport, which gets me to and from the airport for about the same cost as an Uber. I now use LAX Transport without even checking Uber. The service has been supremely reliable w!ith excellent communication, which is important to me when scheduling critical rides. My driver has almost always been Joseph Shipley, who is pleasant company and always has music playing that I like. I love how he instructs me to text him for pickup at the airport. I text him once when the plane lands, and a second time when I emerge from the gangway. By the time I get to the curb he's just pulling up. He knows that airport well! Once I got Anastacia. I clumsily dropped my credit card in her van and didn't realize it. I looked high and low for it at my house, then realized where it might be. I phoned LAX, who contacted Anastacia. She went down to their lot, searched the car, found the credit card, and made a special trip to the post office to mail it to me certified. Where do I start???? I booked this shuttle service 3 days before my departure, pick up time WAS 3:45am. The day they were scheduled to pick me up, the company started texting me at 1:30am. I don't answer my phone in the middle of the night. The text stated they changed my pickup time to 3:05. My alarm wasn't set to go off until 3:05am. My husband was up and noticed a van outside our house. I wasn't even up yet..... I start to get calls after calls that I needed to get in the van. I hardly had time to do anything but put on my pants. I wasn't all packed either. The driver had no clue how to read the GPS and got lost going to Torrance. BTW our van was full, 8 people. Everything from booking my reservation to answering my questions to the actual pick up and delivery service was excellent. The main reason I decided to use LAX Transport was (of course all the great reviews) but mainly because they were able to accommodate me by providing a toddler car seat for my 2 year old. Other places I called said that they don't provide it and that I would need to either provide my own car seat or have my kid sit on my lap. Wtf is that?! So I decided with LAX transport. The day of the pick up, Aboul called me an hour before he arrived to tell me he was on his way. Then he arrived promptly to our pick up location. The car he picked us up in was a new Mercedes passenger van. It was really nice and clean. He helped us load our luggages; and when I climbed inside there was the car seat already installed. The ride to LAX was smooth and comfortable. Aboul was very friendly and professional (he even offered us water). Before we knew it, we're right at our terminal. During our trip, we changed the last half of our itinerary, so our airline and flight changed. I emailed Aboul the changes and provided the new flight info, hoping that he would receive it and we would not have a problem when we land. As soon as we landed in LAX, I received a call from Aboul asking me to text him when we're on our way out. After a short wait, he located us and helped us on our way back home. He even remembered the car seat as well! I couldn't have asked for a better car service experience. Aboul at LAX Transport was awesome, courteous, and professional!
