Finally Nicole (an owner) called back, talked w/o listening to my answers, kept saying i already have a followup appt in October (another month out), suggested i was wrong about my contact attempts, then seriously guilt-tripped me that she and her sister co-owners all have small children--although my stylist does not. She could not answer questions about how the salon operates (eg if they are ever open...seems not) and my expectation for the courtesy of a call back. I gave a significant gratuity on top of a high priced imperfect haircut that ignored important tips i provided re what my hair would do, all to establish a starting point for an ongoing relationship. I've had small children+grad school+a job. It does not take a month to reply to a message. This is a pretty salon but apparently more a hobby than a business.
