It is in a…read moreconvenient location, right off of Highway 11, and is great to drop off any items that won't fit in your mailbox. The staff are friendly and helpful. They have plenty of shipping supplies here. They even have a drive through lane which is very nice for just dropping off packages and being on your way. The main gripe about this place is also due to its location. The cramped parking lot it shares with Starbucks. The Starbucks line will wrap around the building, making it hard to get out of parking spots and even blocking the drive-through lane for this store. It's a real pain / hassle and I wish something could be done about it, but I don't think there is anything that can be done, sadly.

The agent was very helpful with showing me how to work the kiosk. He was also courteous with answering some questions about their services. Even when it is really busy, they immediately acknowledge you when you walk in and try to help as quickly as possible. This is the only FedEx location that I will visit. Make sure you park the fedex labeled spots in the lot. If you park in the middle of the lot, you have to pay and they are always right there watching to ticket you. There are plenty of spaces right on the side. Just make sure it is one of the fedex customer parking spots.

I went back to ask about it, and they told me I should call customer service and file a claim myself because, even though I dropped it off there, it was not their responsibility. However, when I called UPS customer service, they told me the store should file the claim on my behalf. So I went back to the store again. Thankfully, the manager was there and was very kind and helpful. He listened to my request and asked one of the employees to take care of the rest. I waited there for almost 20-30 minutes, and the employee told me he had filed the claim and that I should call customer service in two weeks to check the status of the investigation. Yesterday, I called customer service, and they told me that no claim had ever been filed. I find this very irresponsible and frustrating. This whole experience has been disappointing, and I expected much better communication and accountability from this branch.

I have had ONE driver, a male that was nice and followed the delivery instruction I put on line, per FedEx request. If they are not going to follow the directions then why have a place for you to write the for 'Managing your FedEx Deliver? I am 79 Years old and it is very difficult for me to walk to the front of my house, climb the steps and bring the package back to the rear door of my home that I use as my entrance. So my instructions per following the FedEx website asks that they deliver all packages to my back door. I even place a table beside the door for their convenience. Living on a Dead End street I know it can be difficult their truck around and even put on line that they are welcome to pull into my drive where they can drive clear almost to the back door and then use the drive to turnaround for their ease of leaving. But 9 times out of 10 the driver do not read the instructions. I have had to locate packages delivered to the wrong addresses, placed on the ground at the edge of the public street in front of my home in the dirt and grass because it was raining and they did not want to get out of the truck so my items of clothing purchased to be delivered with watersoaked by the time I could retrieve the package. Today the woman had the ability to back clear up into my driveway and I thought "Thank you God she read the instructions" NOPE, she got out of the truck and as she walked to the front steps I was tapping on the glass asking her to please bring the package to the back door patio area and she told me no she did not walk in peoples yards. I responded that I had the instructions on the website and she said with a look that said go to hell as she flipped her hand in the air after taking the picture and said "FU#K your mama!" got in her truck and pulled out of my driveway. If she is not going to follow the delivery instructions I do not want her in using my driveway again. I bet she could not pull this attitude in Mountain Brook and get away with it. FedEx you have got to do better or frankly we should all meet in the town hall to get rid of your service period.

Its managers need an improvement too. Some FedEx employees have a schedule to keep too. If they failed to meet that schedule they get fired.
