    Update: I'll spare you the antidotes to my horror show, but here's what you need to know... Estes Forwarding Service customers are Retailers, Commercial and Local Freight services. Simply put - you are NOT their customer. Here are some tips: 1.) DO NOT CONTACT THEM: They are a 3rd party, who farms out their freight to private and/or local companies. There is absolutely (absolutely) nothing they can do to help you. "Escalating your shipment." is just what they are scripted to say. 2.) THEIR AUTOMATED EMAIL SERVICE DOES NOT WORK: Just ignore it altogether (seriously, the manager even told me to do so), or think of it as an "estimate" as to when you may get your freight. 3.) CONTACT THE SELLER DIRECTLY IF YOU HAVE ANY ISSUES: Estes can not help you, they can not give refund you, they can not do anything to "escalate your shipment.". You will only frustrate yourself with the long wait times to get your request "escalated.". The driver who delivered my freight was not in anyway, shape, or form, affiliated with them. In fact said "Wow... this box looks terrible! you should contact....Eeeessstes? S-tes?.. Whoever they are. This looks bad!". Sadly I had to call customer service an hour after my window had passed only to tell me that the driver went home for the night... Why they didn't call or send an email, shows the level of polish you're working with here. Simply - Take your business elsewhere.

    Broken chair

    Been a headache getting EFW to not only schedule, but also deliver my item. Was a week late and to top that off, when it finally arrived my $580 patio chair was ruined completely. The bindings was destroyed that held the chair together. Called target and unfortunately it's out of stock too, so even tho I'll get a refund; I'll have to wait till it comes back in stock to finally get my chair. I don't like to post reviews, but this feels necessary.

    I ordered a treadmill from Horizon Fitness in January. It was finally delivered on February 7 by a local delivery company that EFW contracted to make the delivery. In the delivery process, my wood floor was damaged. Wood chipped and scratched all to hell. They carried the treadmill in out of its packaging. There are scratches and scrapes all over it! I immediately filed a claim with EFW that included pictures and an estimate from a flooring company. It is now almost June and I continue to get a run around from the claims department. The only contact information available is an email address! I have asked for a phone to call to speak with someone. While I do receive email responses, it's always the same answer. It's still being reviewed. Reviewed for almost 4 months? I have been more than patient about this, but my patience has worn off. Process my claim! I want my floor fixed. You messed it up, not me. FIX THE ISSUE!

    First, this was a second attempt to take care of an important concern that required me to email…read morefour different sets of documents, with one set consisting of 48 pages. I first attempted to do this twice on Saturday, June 13 at the FedEx Norwalk location. Needless to say, I wasn't successful and kept getting an error message. First I didn't select enough money. Secondly, an error message occurred saying that the file was too large. This error kept happening. Therefore I asked for help, and the only available attendant said "just resend it in 2 or more emails. There is no extra charge." I tried that and it still didn't work. I felt defeated. And I didn't want to send 4 to 5 different emails. So I left because she appeared to be free but working on something in the background. And verbally instructing me to do something and not giving me the attention that I required. So I left. Sunday I went to a different FedEx. The location in Whittier on Whittier Blvd. Robert and Mark both eased my worrying and successfully completed the task that I required. They compressed the file and sent it to my email. Because of this, I was able to send one email with the 5 different sets of documents. I was more than thankful for their kind service. So I decided to write this and show my appreciation for excellent service. Robert and Mark, thank you for going out of your way to make this happen. They took the time & listened to me and solved my issue. They didn't brush me off. They took the time to physically help me. No fobbing off at this location. Thank you Robert and Mark.
