The item was delivered extremely late (over 2 weeks) , after the item sat in their arehouse for 11 days. I tried calling to schedule a prompt delivery numerous times but wasnt met with very competitive employees or managers. They didnt seem to care and brushed me off several times.This was by far the worst experience with a delivery company i have EVER had... would not recommend if it was the last company on earth!!! read more

I'm not someone who writes a lot of reviews good or bad, but today I felt the need to share my experience to save others from having the same experience. I placed my order on Target.com for a sofa. The delivery company assigned to my order was EFW. The shipment was supposed to arrive June 7 but it did not. After multiple calls/chats, I finally received a delivery date and time, June 18, 2021 between 6:45am-11:45am. On June 18 at 10:15am I received a call from the driver with EFW who told me he would be arriving in about 20-30 minutes and proceeded to tell me that he would only be dropping off my sofa to the lobby of my apartment building, not to my door. I immediately told him that's not going to work for me he's going to have to bring it to my door just like everything else I order from target, especially the biggest item I've ever ordered from target. Within 10 minutes a representative from EFW called me telling me that I have a "curbside delivery" not to the door delivery which is false because on my shipment receipt the service level says to the door! The representative proceeded to let me know that because I live in an apartment building, to the door means to the lobby door not my apartment door. It was the dumbest thing I've ever heard in my life! I don't live in the damn lobby. I'm being discriminated against because I don't own my own home I live in an apartment so they refuse to deliver to my front door like they do for home owners. There was no way I, a female, would be able to take a sofa up 11 flights by myself! I don't own a dolly or live with a man to help me with my shipment. I was never told or notified I would be receiving my shipment at the curb of my building at the time of purchase by Target or by EFW. This was crazy! This was FALSE ADVERTISMENT ON A WHOLE OTHER LEVEL!! I couldn't believe that my order from target, TARGET, this reputable company was doing this to me. I called Target customer service immediately and explained my situation. Before I could even finish my story, the representative knew I was talking about EFW and told me unfortunately there was nothing she could do to help me. She advised to just refuse the shipment and let EFW send the order back to Target and get a full refund. I wasted 5-6 weeks waiting around for an item that I expected to be delivered to my door for only to be played games with on the day of delivery. I will be filing a suit against Target and EFW for false advertisement and discrimination. Target needs to sever their ties with EFW because they aren't doing their job. They are deceiving their customers. EFW is the biggest joke of a freight company that I've ever experienced. This is a violation of California Code, Business and Professions code - BPC 17500 which prohibits businesses from knowingly or recklessly making false or misleading statements or otherwise deceptive statements designed to promote the sale of goods or services. read more

I am placing a second review since the nightmare continues. I continue to receive emails from the same manager rescheduling pick ups that never show up. This issue is going on over a month now. Every week a missed pick up. I told them I no longer wanted to schedule any pick ups and needed them to communicate to walmart about their negligence and settle this through walmart. I explained I just had a baby and I can not keep hauling this mattress outside then back in when they do not show. They obviously do not care and keep scheduling pick ups that never show. What is the point of scheduling something if you will not honor it and not show up? How do you stay in business treating customers like this? This is complete negligence. I can not even say this is terrible service because they are not providing the service to begin with, it's more of a complete lack of service! read more

My order has been "Out for Delivery: Today between 8:00 am and 6:00 pm" for three days straight. I've stayed home and missed three days of work because of this incompetent organization. Every day that it hasn't been delivered, I've called their customer service hotline only to get another representative who has promised that it would be delivered by "tomorrow" - we're going into our fourth day of empty promises. I've never heard of this organization before this order and I will never let another retailer use this service to ship anything to me ever again. read more

The WORST freight company ever. Damaged $60,000 of air conditioning equipment beyond repair and our corporation had to negotiate a settlement of $20,000. We have pictures of the equipment loaded on the truck at the point of origin with no damage. It's disgusting and reprehensible. Do not ever use this company. read more

I would give this company 0 stars if I could. I ordered a pool from Walmart which was to be delivered on 6/1/2021. The shipment was 3 boxes, which arrived at the destination city on 6/1. It took them 10 days to arrange delivery. When they finally delivered on 6/11, it was only 1 box. They then said the other 2 boxes were under a different tracking number. I waited a week, but the never came. Walmart agreed to send a replacement on 6/19, which was was picked up on 6/22. Delivery was scheduled for 6/28. They sent me a delivery confirmation email on 6/27 so I confirmed the installers appointment. Much to my surprise the shipment did not arrive. (sarcasm) After spending more than an hour on hold waiting for an EFW agent, I again reached out to the retailer. They suggested using the chat feature. I waited 65 minutes for an agent to connect to chat. The agent indicated the pool would be delivered between 7/6 and 7/8. Two days later, 6/30, they updated tracking information to show it arrived at the origin city on 6/29. Let me say that again, the origin city! It took a week from when it was picked up until it reach the origin terminal. There were no other tracking updates until 7/2 when my shipment arrived at the destination terminal. I tried to schedule my delivery with their online tool, but my shipment was not eligible. I tried the chat again and only waited 20 minutes for an agent. The agent indicated it would be delivered 7/5 or 7/6 at the latest. Surprise, surprise the shipment did not arrive on 7/6 nor was there a delivery date entered in the tracking information. I again reached out to the company and received an email indicating it will now be delivered 7/14. Keep in mind this shipment was to be delivered on 6/28, yet the fastest delivery they can muster is 12 days after reaching the destination! Unbelievable!! For those scoring at home it takes them 7 days to get the box from the pickup dock to the origin terminal and 12 days to get it from the destination terminal to my home. Do they have a guy wheeling the box on a hand truck? Of course not a guy with a hand cart would not take 7 days to go 8 miles from pickup to the origin dock or 12 days to go 19 miles from the destination dock to my home. Please steer clear of this company! They are nothing but headaches. BTW while I received an email saying it would be delivered on 7/14, they have yet to actually update their tracking information to say so. I have many issues with this company. 1st, they never bothered to call me to schedule a delivery. They had my package for 4 days and I contacted them to see when they were going to deliver it. They told me they called and left a voicemail but that was not true. 2nd, I schedule an appointment for delivery with a window between 1-5pm. They show up at my door calling me at 10:38am saying we are here. 3rd, they show up with 1 box instead of 3. They some how lost 2/3 of my package. I call the manufacture and they tell me they send the package with 3 boxes on 1 pallet. This company can not track down or find the other two boxes. They tell they got lost somewhere along the way. 4th, the delivery drivers that show up to my house tell me I have to refuse the 1st box even they I asked if I could keep it, then every time I call the company to ask about it they throw this "because you refused your delivery" statement. I didn't refuse...I was told I had no choice and when I asked for a supervisor I was refused the ability to talk to one. Doesn't appear to be a responsible company. Never hear of them till I bought something from SAMS club. Hopefully, I don't have to use such a terrible company again. read more

It doesn't have any option to hold or to speak with a specific department NOTHING except to go to 'live Chat' and this is where I have been for over 20 minutes. ***VERY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE NO ONE WILL SPEAK WITH YOU TO ANSWER QUESTIONS**/// Just realized that we have an apt on the day I set up and went back to the web-site that was sent to me via email and it will not even allow to change the date. Poor Logistics management! I placed an order with Walmart dot com and had a delivery date for July 3rd. The freight was picked up by EFW June 27th and sat at a transfer facility in Atlanta Georgia until July 1st. It left the facility July 2nd and is now sitting at another transfer facility in Fort Smith Arkansas. I contacted an agent on July 5th to check on delivery status and was told they have no clue when the shipment would be delivered. Why is Walmart using this poor excuse of a Logistics carrier? Horrible company and HORRIBLE customer service. The company called last night and said delivery would be between 8 am and 6 pm today..(just sit and wait). Never showed. Called for status and was told it would not be delivered for another 3 days. Asked to speak to supervisor, he asked how he could help, I said didn't you employee tell you my problem. estes is an epic fail when it comes to picking up freight. i scheduled 4 pick ups last week, 9.12.17, 9.13.17, 9.14.17, 9.15.17 all for same shipment. no show 9.12.17 & no courtesy call. now show 9.13.17 & no courtesy call. now show 9.14.17 and no courtesy call. on 9.14.17 i spoke with memphis dispatch and advised of problem. dispatcher guaranteed the driver would pick up friday.. guess what happend. 9.15.17 no show. i called dispatch and all they offered were excuses about not being in our area that day. estes had 4 days notice to pick up 1 pallet. i will never, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever use estes freight ever again. estes motto...we pick up when we feel like and don't give a rats ash if our customer's manufacturing line shuts down due to no materials. read more
