Very underrated place! Spacious environment; dine-in and take-out available. Portions were perfect for a hungry gal like myself. Everything was freshly made and will definitely be coming again! Customer service was 4/5, could have been a bit more attentive but not a deal breaker since it has a "fast-food" atmosphere.

Terrible!! For years we've always ordered the house burger.. and today after noticing the place got bought buy cubans.. I asked if the food was still the same... its not!!! the burgers are far from what they used to be... for 3 burgers I paid $52!!! What a ripoff.. the burgers ALWAYS HAD 2 patties now its just 1.. the burgers were missing All of the sauces, the chips... and flavor.. just sad they RUINED a great place... we will never be going back..se cagaron el restaurante.. que triste!! NO PIERDAN SU PLATA... con razon ahora ni esta en el menu la hamburguesa de la casa con precio!! Devuelvanle el negocio a los Colombianos!!!

Best fast food Colombian restaurant. I do thank Yelp for guiding me here. Love it This place is a late night must. Delicious food, wonderful service, and great portions at a very affordable price. I recommend the super patacon. It is fun and flavorful with so many delish meats combined in one dish. It comes with chorizo, chicharron, carne mechada and guacamole. The chicharrones are crunchy and flavorful. I also tried the cheese maicitos with steak and they were average. Their sauces are tasty and complement all dishes very well. Don't forget to ask for the picante sauce- the best. The ambience is ok for a late night bite. But the place looks old and outdated. I would come back to try more delish food for sure.

I have had this place bookmarked for years and stayed away because I saw a negative review years ago. I suggested here because I was in the mood for a hot dog, even though I always get the Hawaiian burger when dining at Columbian restaurants. First off, we could not find the place. It is in the strip mall behind Metro Diner, tucked all the way in the corner, next to Dollar General. After driving around the empty parking lot the second time, we found it. We walked in and were greeted right away. We were given the choice to sit wherever we wanted. The first table was the worst wobbly table ever so we switched. The menu was in Spanish and English. The staff though, they struggled speaking English. I am not fluent in Spanish but I can understand speak the basic stuff. It was still really difficult communication wise. I ordered the Hawaiian burger and hubby ordered the Cuban panini. They do not serve alcohol so being the diabetic, I only had the choice of Diet Pepsi or water. I prefer Pepsi products over Coke any day so it's not so bad. It took a long time for our food to come out and there was only 1 other table than us. I am a sauce whore (as my caption states) and love the sauces at these kind of places. Unfortunately, the sauces here did not have as much flavor as other places and it was not as thick. I took my first bite and was in bliss! The meat was great. There was a lot of melted cheese. There was a lot of bacon. However, I would skip the lettuce because there was way too much and it makes it soggy. Also, I think it needed more potato chips. Hubby thought his sandwich was okay but not amazing. He works with a lot of Cubans so he has good Cuban food a lot at work. Like other Columbian restaurants, they take forever to bring the check. We just got up and went to the counter to pay. So cheap! It was like $22 without the tip. You can't beat that for two people to eat! We definitely will be repeat customers.

We came here looking for arepas and left super satisfied! I'm giving the resturant 5 starts because the food and overall ambiance was awesome. We were treated were excellent service and kindness while enjoying our meal. We order an empanada, two hot dogs and two arepas! I don't remember the names but honestly I don't think you can go wrong with any of them! This place had a stage so I'm assuming they have live music at some point. The only thing I was not happy about was how expensive the arepas were! I personally don't think it would cost that much but they were extremely tasty!

This is a typical Colombian joint. Nothing spectacular but good. I recommend the Arepas, because they are big. Not he usual. Service is good and enough parking

I must say I was very impressed with this restaurant. Tucked away in a strip mall near University and Pines Blvd, it's unassuming exterior doesn't let you know what you're about to experience. This chickita doesn't speak much Spanish. I know the basics, niceties and such and I definitely know what Perros Calientes means! I tried the house dog, grilled onions, bacon, ham, cheese and those wonderful crushed potato chips that make it a true Colombian dog. Lots of sauces, my favorites were the pineapple and the garlicky one. Big dog with a sturdy bun that held its own against the many toppings. Came with a side of fries that we shared, the side order perfect size for sharing. The bf had the Super Arepa, it is. For sure. Super duper! I'm not an expert on arepas but this one was packed to the gills, chicken, beef and pork with a lovely chicharron surprise mixed in there. The arepa itself was crispy and light and delicious. I plan on returning soon, I have to try the empanadas and tostones at some point. All around great (and not expensive) meal with good service in a happy atmosphere.

Super dope little hole in the wall. My boyfriend is Colombian and loved their logo and wanted to try them out. The place was empty but looked super clean. The lady who served us was so nice. We ordered 2 perros de la casa and they were AMAZINGGGGG. Also had the beef empanadas. They had Spanish Mexican music playing in the background, and I really enjoyed that. Definitely recommend this place for a nice lunch. I'm looking forward to coming back and trying more of their food. Great big clean spot, delicious good for a great price.

Our server was nice and provided recommendations from the lunch menu. Casual setting with lively atmosphere. Their authentic colombian dishes are big enough for two. Tried their Bandeja Paisa had the biggest chicharron and mostly meat I've seen. Their chicken parm was also big portion and fair price. Soups are hearty and flavorful. Their Mondongo which is tripe soup had lots of veggies, potatoes and topped with lots of cilantro. I kicked things off with their coconut lemonade ribboned with a swirl of lemon--bright, tropical, and flat-out delicious. Then came the patacón con guacamole y hogao, a crispy, creamy crowd-pleaser tailor-made for guacamole lovers. For the main event, we leveled up to the bandeja paisa, swapping in punta de anca for the meat. It's the kind of feast that proudly flies the Colombian flag: fluffy white rice, beans served separately, sausage, sweet fried plantain, and a short rack of crackly chicharrón. There were so many bold flavors that I didn't know where to park my fork first--or next. Service was super and extremely attentive, and every dish arrived at the right temperature and beautifully presented. Fun, flavorful, and full of heart--this place nails it. Let's eat!!

The portions they serve are huge and easily enough to serve two people. One of my friends I was with got the chicken, two of them got the steak, and I decided to try the Aliaci soup which is their chicken and potato soup. The chicken empanadas we had for an appetizer were amazing. Crunchy on the outside and filled with such flavorful chicken on the inside. For drinks we all enjoyed their coconut lemonade. I heard they have great lunch specials and I can't wait to return for that. I ordered in person cause yelp redirects you to call, and sadly employees on phone tell you they can't take order over phone unless you have ordered and registered in the past. How can I be that, if you don't allow me to order in the first place. Great way to lose business. Anyhow I was not that far so I went in person. The plate I ordered ( picada for 2 or 3 person) was online showing as $29.99 but at restaurant the price is $40( way big difference). I showed employee she said yeah the prices via yelp are wrong so just go to the website directly. Thats ridiculous. I order picada and also bandeja paisa , 34 can sodas and 2 shakes to go, total was $113, online pricing would have been $77 or so with tax). I told employee they need to fix the issue of different prices she was dismissive. Said again just go to our website to order. Not via yelp nor uber eats. That's crazy. Not a good first impression.

They were so fresh and steamy on the inside. If you're not familiar with Colombian empanadas, the batter is potato based and the filling has some chunks of potato in it. It is amazing! I've had a lot of different types of empanadas in my day and these are my absolute favorite! They are just so flavorful and the texture is so heavenly, it's a party in your mouth. The only problem is that as soon as I finish one, I immediately want another. They just go down so easily, I think it's because the batter is light and flaky compared to others. Ok, enough talk about the empanadas, I realize I'm starting to sound crazy... but I just love them so much! We also had a papa rellena, stuffed potato with a rice and ground beef filling. This also had a nice flaky crust and lots of flavor. As our main meal we had an egg stuffed arepa and a mini bandeja paisa. The egg stuffed arepa was good but the bandeja paisa was even better. It's a bowl with rice, saucy red beans, a small arepa, sausage, chicharrón, beef, a sweet plantain slice and why not? A beautiful fried egg on top! phew! I know it's a mouthful. It's comfort food in a perfect package. Honestly, I tasted only about half of the meats because my hubby scarfed it down way too fast. But I sopped up the saucy rice and beans with the arepa and was a happy camper. Lastly, I drank a coconut lemonade which was so refreshing that I even got another one to go. I will absolutely be making this one of my new go to places!
