    Eggs, beans ( very pasty)

accidentally ordered from this place thinking it was a different Honduran spot. I had already placed the order and felt bad about leaving it and placing an order with the intended Honduran spot but I wish I would of canceled it. I was in a rush and didn't see what I was getting but let me tell you, not good at all. I will not be going back in my lifetime. I will continue to go to the one Honduran restaurant down the street from it. Food didn't look good and tasted terrible. I wouldn't even try to beans because it was pasty. Eggs were salty. It wasn't good at all and I ended up trashing it.

I've been coming here for years but every time I come here the service keeps getting worse and worse and worse and the quality of the food , you feel like this is a food handout shelter , now with the new waiters you get looked at like your begging for food , like your an inconvenience just ordering . The chips are half chips , and get literally thrown on the table , and it takes like an hour to get a small order -- when there is no one in the place , as I type this the only couple that was here left and said it took too long to cancel order..... wow . If you come here make sure you eat something prior . I give it one star because I can't give less .

If you are looking for a good Salvadorian restaurant, this is the place to go. Prices are good and the food is fantastic. The kids favorite is the pupusas revuelta. Try it, you won't be disappointed.

This hole in the wall, has some great food. I love the pupusas which is a traditional salvadorian dish. Conchas Negras is to die for.

Out dated decor. Food needs work. Overall...I feel bad but this is one of those restaurants that probably won't make it.

I'm so upset because their food is really good, but I found a fly in my Pupusa today. I would never go back.

How can something this simple hit this hard?…read more At Pupusa Time, I'm genuinely at a loss for words--and that doesn't happen often. The space? No frills. The menu? Straightforward. But the food? Completely out of this world. Let's talk pupusas. At their core, it's just a corn tortilla stuffed with cheese. That's it. And yet somehow, it delivers more satisfaction than dishes ten times as complicated. Yes, they offer the classics--beans, chicharrón, the revuelta--but don't overthink it. The roasted garlic (ajo asado) pupusa is the move. Full stop. My first visit lined up with the Artemis mission, and honestly, that feels appropriate. The cheese pull stretches like it's trying to reach the moon, and I'm not convinced that cheese was made on this planet. It's rich, perfectly melted, and borderline absurd in the best way. And then there's the curtido--that bright, tangy slaw that cuts through everything with just enough funk and crunch to keep you grounded... or maybe not. Because paired with that pupusa, you're floating. There are very few handheld foods on Earth that can compete with this. Make the trip. Order the roasted garlic. Thank me when you land back on Earth.

We ordered takeout and the container alone told me I was in good hands: warm, generously stuffed pupusas wrapped with care like the precious cargo they are. The masa was perfectly cooked--soft with just the right crisp on the outside--and the fillings were flavorful, melty, and comforting in that this tastes like someone's abuela made it kind of way. And let's talk about the supporting cast. The curtido? Crunchy, tangy, and refreshing. The salsa roja? Balanced, savory, and not shy about flavor. Add a little kick if you want--everything plays its role beautifully. Even the jalapeño made an appearance like, "I'm here if you're brave." This is the kind of spot where you don't need frills or fancy plating. You need good food, done right, and Pupusas Time nails it. Simple menu, big flavors, and portions that make you feel like you got hugged by your takeout bag. Highly recommend for a casual dinner, comfort-food cravings, or when you want to remind yourself why hole-in-the-wall gems are undefeated. I'll absolutely be back--hungry and unapologetic.

From the outside, the building looks a little run down but once inside you could never tell. We ordered the Super Antojitos Atlakat. This is a loaded plate with carne asada, refried beans, chicharrones, tostones, yuca, and cheese. Each item was filled with bold, comforting flavors with a touch of what felt like home cooking. My friends complimented the crispness of the pork belly. The meal was filling for 3 of us with left overs. Seems like they have a great lunch menu and the prices are very reasonable.

When I arrived, I was surprised they had more tables than I was expecting. There wasn't a wait, but it was full. They also have counter seating with a tv if you're into that. I ordered pupusas "revueltas." For those who might not know, a pupusa is a traditional Salvadoran dish made from thick corn tortilla stuffed with a mixture of ingredients. "Revueltas" or "mixed/scrambled" which I ordered is a combo of beans, cheese and pork mixture which is blended and filled inside the pupusa. It's served with a type of cabbage salad and tomato sauce. So good. I also ordered a tamale which was delicious as well. This is my go-to place when I'm looking for Salvadoran. Try it!

La Casita Salvadoreña, ubicada en Commercial Boulevard, es el clásico hole in the wall que parece discreto por fuera, pero por dentro te da una bofetada de sabor (con cariño ). Las porciones son absurdamente buenas. No sales lleno... sales derrotado. Si no has ido, ve. Si ya fuiste, sabes que digo la verdad. Y si sales con hambre... hiciste algo mal.

We chose a two top on the lovely patio. After ordering sweet tea, we were brought a basket of tortilla chips and some spicy salsa. We ordered guacamole and it was perfect.
