The pedicure was pretty good and they had a great color selection. My polish job lasted a very long time!! The waxing was very interesting. The arm wax was great and the woman was super nice and I felt very comfortable. However, I got a very bad burn on my upper lip from the wax that they use or the way that she waxed me and I definitely would not recommend getting an upper lip wax here after this. My arms were fine though. Definitely recommend this place for getting your nails done.

I shopped, ate, museums (typical tourist stuff) then had 3 flights home with extra luggage and customs where i had to get my bags, transfer to another flight and then settle on my last leg. One of my bags had broken in transit so i even was carrying it wrapped in plastic (terrible for nails). I've now been home, putting things away and settling in. Its been over a week and my nails still look AMAZING! I wish I lived in Florence for all the normal reasons and now i even have a regular nail girl! Why not move . They put a…read morebowl on the floor and decided to give us a little bit of shaving with a sanding piece like my child has done. as soon as we walked in, they said a pedicure would be $40 and proceeded to say an additional $40 if you have bad calluses or whatever I don't care what area of the world you're in, but who actually puts a bowl on the floor to do a pedicure... i proceeded to say that's way too much to charge me for if I have calluses or not I said in the US we would get everything the lounge chair the drinks the whirlpool everything she proceeded to say well you're in Italy like I'm stupid. No matter what country you're in which I was told you're in italy ... cocky much,,,,I'm sorry. Customer service is within the world and you suck so at this point, I'm angry and decided to educate people on rip off and not nice woman so I decided I'm gonna do it anyway then I freaked out there's no chair there's no whirl pole. I've lived in Florence for 8 months now and have gone here 3 times. I originally went here because…read morethey claim to do "dip" nails. The dip is only for the base and then they finish it with gel, which I was have avoided for years as I do not want the skin exposure to the UV light. The first manicure was good, not great, but I liked the atmosphere of the salon. It was definitely priced on the higher side, especially compared to US pricing. The returned a month or so later for another manicure and simply got the gel manicure. It last about 2 weeks before starting to chip, which I found unusual. I decided to do my own manicures because I didn't want to continue UV exposure for a gel manicure. So I finally went back last week, after the holidays, to get a "dip" manicure once again, to help protect my nails and keep them strong. I guess I had forgotten they do not do a true dip manicure with powder for the color coat, only the base, using gel and UV for the color coat. Literally within 24 hours one of my nails chipped. And I am not hard on my nails. I decided I would not go back after paying €80. No fill, no artificial nails - just base coat and gel color. And then, two days later, another nail chipped. Maybe it was the nail tech, but I will not return. I expect more out of a salon that charges this kind of pricing.
