Since it is the most costly out of the routines that I listed above, I often find reasons to skip it and shamefully spend the money on things like clothing or shoes. Therefore, I was very thankful when my wife shared that she found a reputable & cost effective esthetician in close proximity to our home. After seeing my wife's skin the days following her appointment, I immediately preceded to fill out Lindy's online client intake form. Generally, Lindy is booked solid; however, I was fortunate to absorb an appointment that was cancelled by a client. Upon arrival, I was warmly greeted by Lindy shortly after stepping out of my vehicle. Lindy led me into her quiet and clean skin studio, in which she proceeded to inquire about any concerns that I have pertaining to my skin. I shared with Lindy that I suffered from cystic acne in my teens and early 20's; therefore, I was looking for a treatment to remove some acne scars. She suggested that I have a special treatment that would gradually remove the scarring, which led to me scheduling a future appointment to begin the treatment. As Lindy began the process, we engaged in casual conversation that took my mind away from the slight discomfort of the facial (I have a low pain tolerance when it comes to face treatments). In between conversation, Lindy did a great job of checking in to make sure that I was ok. Following the treatment, I was amazed at the appearance of my skin. It seemed like my skin looked more rejuvenated as the days passed, and the Lyra cleanser that I purchased from Lindy complimented my sensitive skin. She understood my concerns on not wanting to look too over done, but also wanting results that made me look a tad younger and not so angry all the time. We ended up doing my forehead and 11s. I'm so happy with the results. My make up no longer accentuates my frown lines between my brows by the end of the day, and my forehead is smoother like in my 20s. During the consultation we talked about lip filler. Again, Starla was great at explaining everything and understood what I was looking for: something that accentuated what I had, but still natural looking. My lip filler appointment was today and she nailed it. I was worried about the pain, but it was completely easy and almost painless. She took her time and I love the results (understanding there is a little swelling at the moment). They also started offering a membership which I have joined. Long story short, each month you can have an amount taken automatically out of your bank account and create what I told my husband was my "self care piggy bank". You get a discount on services, but also can use this piggy bank for future services. Somewhat like a prepaid payment plan. I love this idea, especially if you plan on continuing services and coming back for touch ups later. I'm so happy I found this place and Starla. I've been telling anyone who will listen that they need to check out what services DA provides. Next, I'm going to have to ask Starla about Kybella for my double chin. I left a review on Google and the provider contacted me a month later and called me, but during the call she repeatedly interrupted me and did not seem interested in understanding my concerns. She asked me to send photos and said she would call me back on Monday after reviewing them. I sent the photos as requested and never received a call back. After waiting, I followed up myself. Instead of a phone call or any meaningful discussion, I received a brief message stating: "Thank you for sending your photos. They have been documented and reviewed. No further action is necessary." There was no explanation, no in-person evaluation, no follow-up care offered, and no attempt to address my concerns or provide support after a cosmetic procedure I paid for. Regardless of outcome, patients deserve to be heard, taken seriously, treated with professionalism and respect. Unfortunately, that was not my experience here. I would strongly encourage anyone considering RF microneedling or other procedures to carefully consider the level of post-treatment care and support they may receive. This is not how ethical providers handle unhappy RF microneedling outcomes, especially when a patient clearly feels harmed.

Dr. Angell doesn't care about making money off of you. She cares about your aesthetic goals, and the best way for you to achieve them, even if it would mean a loss for her. I went in initially for a lip flip and forehead Botox, and she essentially said she could do it, but I'd get the best results from a lip lift, which is surgical and permanent. Every other clinic I went to told me that I'd need 4-8 units for the flip and 1.5-2 vials of filler to get the results I wanted, which is just an obvious cash grab. Dr. Angell and her staff actually listened to me, understood what I wanted, and didn't try to oversell me on anything. That was enough to cement that this is the place for me. There are so many other reasons to love this place. The decor is tasteful, it's always clean, the staff is SO nice, and my results are always perfect. I've had issues with Botox migrating in the past, and that has NEVER happened here. I've also never even bruised, even when I decided to dabble in lip filler. It also doesn't feel like you're in a sterile doctor's office (even though you technically are in a doctor's office), and I feel like I'm just talking to my friends. The last thing I'll touch on is my incredibly horrible needle fear. I know it's strange to get injectables when you have a full-blown panic attack getting your flu shot, but I'll tell you, these people take CARE of you. My first appointment, I was literally sweating, crying, and on the edge of passing out, but they literally held my hand throughout and made sure I was as comfortable as possible. I know it seems silly, but I've never felt more supported in a medical setting. The laughing gas doesn't hurt either, but I'm so comfortable there now, I don't even need it and don't cry! So, it's a little bit of exposure therapy tossed in as a freebie! I know this is long, but I could seriously go on forever about how amazing this place is. If you try it out, you will end up with amazing NATURAL results. I'll close it off with a story. I seriously won a bet at a dinner party when a gal who was talking about celebrities with cosmetic enhancements said, "Everyone who gets stuff done is so obvious. I can tell immediately." I mentioned that work is only obvious when it's bad, but good work is something you'd never notice. I bet her that she couldn't tell who had gotten anything done at the table. She guessed the people with obvious work, but I wasn't on her list. She said, "You just look young because you have great skin." I literally had to show her my receipts to prove it.
