This Walgreens on Lone Tree has the worst pharmacy in town. They are super slow and don't have a care in the world for customers. They don't answer their phones, they keep customers on hold for 1 hour 30 mins before hanging up on them. The Drive Thur is also the worst. Waited 1 hour to pick up prescription that was transferred to their location since they were the only ones in town that had it in stock. I noticed after I pulled up to the window they had 3 workers. They are really slow and don't seem to take into consideration that people were waiting over an hour for the Drive Thru. This pharmacy definitely needs more help who know how to properly manage a busy pharmacy. read more

If I could leave negative stars I would. Several times I've had my refill requests flat out cancelled with no notification at all. This happened today and was the final straw. Requested a refill on 2/9. 2/12 check to see if it's done before heading over... cancelled. Call to find out why. Pharmacy Tech said it was out of stock and that's why it was canceled. Odd... usually they pend the refill. Tech says she'll process it then transfers elsewhere to see if it's in stock... umm... why do I need to speak to someone else... more waiting. New person answers doesn't introduce themselves. I can only assume the pharmacist as they were acting like I was interrupting their day. Informed me, no it's not in stock but we'll order it... then... ok your prescription is expired. Asked why no one called me and did they contact my Doctor. She flat out told me it's not their job to reach out to the Doctors office for a prescription renewal. Ummmm.... Every other pharmacy, including Rite Aid does that! Asked how are we all supposed to know when it expires if the app says I can refill it? She tells me it's not their responsibility to request renewals then proceeds to tell me prescriptions expire 365 days after being requested. So if you're going to keep using, make sure you have a calendar just to track when all your prescriptions will need to be renewed. I wish Rite Aid stayed opened and This Walgreens pharmacy closed instead. Switching to Mail Delivery through my insurance. Good luck if you stay here. read more

Today on January 21, 2026 I work for UBER Eats and I was waiting at the pharmacy to pick up for an order for a customer as instructed through the app. We are allowed to use the restrooms while working as noted. I continue to ask the gentleman, a heavyset younger guy with glasses and curly hair working this shift today very unprofessional and he needs to be reported. after I told him that I've viewed the restroom before in the past while picking up orders for customers, he then said I'll go ahead and use the restaurant instead and then I said I used it before in the past and he said oh I can open it up for you now I decided to walk away and told him that let me speak to your manager. He then instructed that the manager wasn't working today, which was a lie. What store does don't operate with the Manager very unprofessional I decided to report him again and they continued to say there was no manager on site for that shift very unprofessional team working today at Walgreens. read more

I have been here a couple times and every time has been a horrible wait time. I had to fill 2 prescriptions in the last week for my family and both times were ridiculous. The drive through had the longest wait, there were 4 cars in front of me for over 20 min. No one moved, then decided to back out and go inside and it's just as bad. The second time I Waited in line for over 50 min. Just to get to the employer and they tell me they need more time to make sure they have it and fill the prescription even though my Dr. had sent it in over an hour ago. Since I had to wait more, I went to the restroom, and saw that they require a code. I go and ask an employee at the pharmacy and they don't even know if the restrooms are open to customers, even though there was a huge sign that says restrooms. So the employee goes to ask another employee. Bottom line choose another pharmacy!! read more

I visited this Walgreens 30 minutes after my dentist sent over my prescription, expecting a standard pickup. Joan at the counter took my information and told me to wait until I was called, as my medication wasn't ready yet. While waiting, I overheard James, another pharmacy tech, helping a customer picking up meds for his mother. James asked the required security questions, but the customer got the birth year wrong. James corrected him--and still handed over the medication. That's a blatant breach of pharmacy protocol and patient safety. After waiting another half hour in intense pain, James finally asked everyone seated if they had been waiting long. I almost yelled "YES!" out of sheer frustration. It was so obvious that Joan forgot that she had me wait! To make matters worse, she had entered my phone number incorrectly, assuming I had the local area code. This mistake meant I waited even longer for my prescription. This branch needs immediate Process Improvement Security protocols. Customer information is assumed, not verified. Wait times are excessive, even for urgent prescriptions. Communication is poor and reactive, not proactive. This branch is missing a huge opportunity to serve the working middle class--many of whom switched from CVS expecting better service. If Walgreens doesn't invest in process improvements and staff training, it risks going the way of Rite-Aid. I hope Walgreens management urgently review their procedures, retrain staff, and consider hiring a dedicated team to implement corrective actions. Patient safety and customer experience depend on it. read more

Placed an order for photos to be ready in one hour . I came in at the time they said they would be ready was greeted by a very rude shift manager named Prasad before he even looked. He told me he can guarantee that nothing's ready that they don't have supplies and that's what happens when you order last minute that they weren't gonna have supplies at least until after New Year's this is Christmas Eve now I asked him if he could give me a date and time when they will be ready so that I can come back, he told me to come back the next day for the other part of the orders which were 8 x 10 canvases and told me to come back on Christmas Eve at 11 PM to pick them up. I asked if that was a guesstimate and he said yes, they should be done by then.. I called my daughter to let her know that nothing was ready and that they probably wouldn't be ready and that the shift manager Prasad interrupted my conversation and tried to insert him himself and basically told me it was my fault. He then interrupted me and told me that was my perception of what he said, and then told me to get out of the way so that he can help the next customer because he was done with me. Walgreens needs to do a lengthy interview on the people that they hire. The customer service was despicable. read more

Oh my local Walgreens. Photos, medicine, and chocolates, =). Yes sometimes, its take a while for a clerk to help us out for our photos. The drive thru pharmacy can be a long wait. But in spite of the current conditions (rampant shoplifting), this Walgreens is trying its best to look good and spiffy. Most aisles are fairly stoked, and they try their best to have a clean store. absolutely the worst pharmacy in town, hours and even 1 whole day after my prescriptions are delayed by their disorganization, I had a prescribed mouth rinse and we see the pharmacy tech searching through inventory boxes and telling head pharmacist "I cant find it" and she tell him "just tell them it wasnt sent to us" after I follow up with my doctor prescriptions were sent they just didn't do their job. I had the worst experience here. Pharmacy Customer service is the absolute worst! We have a choice we don't have to utilize their pharmacy they are not the only pharmacy out there. The pharmacy here is so horrible. Every time when picking up meds, there would be a huge line. Even when I'm next in line, I would still had wait a very long time. They only have two people at the cashier, but one would help at the drive thru. When my wife called for status on a prescription arriving, nobody ever answer the phone. In person, the staff doesn't know how to answer most of the questions like they don't have much knowledge or experience. The system was down, and I was told it'd be ready in one hour after showing up. I decided to come back on a Sunday. The girl behind the photo center counter couldn't check me out, and told me to go to the front since there was no line. Basically she refused to check me out. I went to the front counter, and there WAS a line. I looked back at the photo center and she was checking out the woman behind me!!! This Pharmacy is horrible and had yet another bad experience this afternoon (8/18) at approximately 1:25 p.m. it doesn't matter what time of the day or night you go that drive-thru is backed up. Nobody acknowledges you. You can sit there basically in front of the window as I did today people going back and forth.. all I want is a simple we will be with you in a minute. I didn't think that was so much to ask. But when I called them on it this snotty young person decides to argue with me the customer. I said I'm sitting in the hot car for 20 minutes I've been sitting at your window for 5 minutes and she proceeded to tell me no you haven't been sitting here for 5 minutes even though I looked directly at my car clock from the second I got there until the second she walked up to the window. Try to get them on the phone too, impossible!! My dog had a very bad scratch on her cornea my veterinary office TRIED to called in and eye drop prescription. I was told how hard it was to get through and they hung up on the office four times till we both finally gave up and I had to go to Rite Aid on Main Street in oakley. There is truly no excuse for how this Pharmacy is run. I guess it falls on the shoulders of the pharmacy manager or the store manager I don't know who and I would call and complain but guess what again I would never be able to get them on the phone. I've only been using this particular store for approximately 7 months. I used to live in San Mateo with a population of 120,000. While they do have more than one Walgreens (3) for that City, I always could get them on the phone and I never sat in the Drive-Thru for more than 10 or so minutes. They would even acknowledge the fact that there was somebody sitting in their car waiting to be helped. Again all I was looking for was we will be with you in a minute, not to defend myself. I will be pulling all my prescriptions from this horrendous store. Sad that I have to leave one star I'd refer to leave nothing! read more

If you're going to the pharmacy, there is only one line for drop off pick ups and to ask questions. I called the day before to ask if they had over-the-counter Covid test as my insurance covered it. The gentleman that I spoke to told me to come in and bring my insurance information. He made it seem like they had over-the-counter Covid tests. When I got to the Walgreens pharmacy, I stood in line for about 45 minutes. When I got up to the counter a tall heavy set lady didn't even take the time to ask what I needed. She just started asking me my birthday and then she said speak up. I was thinking to myself I'm behind a plastic barrier and I'm speaking pretty loud. She was very rude and lacked customer service. Finally was able to tell her I was there to get an over-the-counter Covid test and that I spoke to someone the day before and they said to come in with my insurance card. She looked frustrated after I said that and went to speak to somebody and came back and said we don't have any over-the-counter Covid tests at this pharmacy, in a very rude manner. I understand she's frustrated that she's there working all day and has many people speaking to her but the way she conducted herself is unacceptable and not customer friendly. I have always gone to get my prescriptions at this Walgreens, but for matter of principal, I will no longer be going to this Walgreens and I will seek another pharmacy. I had a PCR test scheduled for 9:30am. I arrived at 9:20 in the drive thru and there were 2 cars in front of me. One car ended up leaving and by 9:37 I was the car at the window. It took them 10 minutes or more to help me, and then another 20 minutes to get the paperwork only to tell me that it was out of network and I would have to pay myself for the test. I had put in all my heath insurance informed in when I made the appointment the day before and it said nothing about this. Since I had been there an hour I told them never mind that I would just quarantine. I've never had to sit in a drive thru for an hour. Worst service ever. read more
