Irene is a godsend! I have problem eyebrows. Due to over plucking when I was younger, they no longer extend very far across my brow ridge, Left in the hands of lesser talented aestheticians, they can either look like short stubby caterpillars or thin lines across my broad forehead. Irene is one of the VERY few who can actually make my eyebrows look sculpted without appearing artificial. I finally feel confident that my eyebrows look nice and professional. Her prices are also VERY reasonable. I got an eyebrow and lip wax for $15. Her work area is clean and well maintained. My first visit here was yesterday for a brazilian wax. I had made an appointment and Irene unlocked the door to let me in at 5:30, as there were no other clients inside at the time. She was very friendly and sociable, as waxing can be a little nerve racking and the waxer, as I am sure they are trained, should be chatting a little with the waxee. I mean, it's going to be somewhat painful regardless, but its nice, in my opinion, when the waxer actually talks to you instead of you just laying there on the table in butterfly position. The room was clean and she used the wax along with strips. I like that it is affordable, at $35. Irene was my first and the only person who has done my Brazilian wax and I love her! I've been going to her for over 13 years and she's been through my break ups to me graduating from high school and college. She is very accomodating and will do same day appointments if you call early in the day. The place is sanitary and Irene also gets all the extra hair that the wax doesn't get.
