Then the cashier was insistent on my zip code and information for all the cards that I've ever had on file and said it's ALWAYS been EWC policy since they opened to get all of the information EVERY TIME a card is used ( this feels like a scam and an attempt to obtain personal information) I know this isn't the case because I have been to many EWC locations across the US and have NEVER been asked for it, it's scan and go!
